They Cross Paths

She was so beautiful looking at her from afar. She had the most beautiful smile ever. her structure was completely ethereal. She walked towards him not taking her eyes off him

he loved the way she kept looking at him. he made sure he didn't break the eye contact. she got to where he was still looking at him. The proximity was really close and he loved it.

'hi' she said with her hands stretched out for your handshake

'hi' he replied giving her a smile.

'I love your hair' she said to him.

'thank you but I must say your eyes are completely mesmerizing' he said to her.

she smiled at him.

'I'm Kol' he introduced himself

' I'm...' she was about to say when he heard someone calling out to him

' Master! Master Kol ' he heard.

'why does that sound like Mrs Anna's voice? what is she doing here? He turned back to see who was calling him. And all of a sudden, he saw Mrs Anna standing in front of him.

'oh master Kol! you're awake. I'm so sorry I didn't come out in time. I hope you're not unwell ' Mrs Anna said checking his temperature with the back of her palm.

'I'm fine' Kol said getting up on the walking up the stairs towards his room.

Mrs Anna took the remote control and turned off the television. Then she took the wine and the wine glass away from the sitting room.

Kol sighed as he got into his room. He couldn't believe he fell asleep in the sitting room and worst of all on the couch. And the most annoying part of it all was that all he saw ended up being a dream.

He threw himself on the couch though cautiously to avoid any further damage to his arm.

he threw a cursory glance at the alarm clock. it was 5 a.m.. he was able to get 3 hours of sleep.

'not bad' he thought to himself.

3 hours of sleep on the couch. He rubbed his neck, that was a bad sleeping position for him.

He went into his closet and changed into a white singlet and a compression pants, then he went out of his room and walked into the gym.

he had to do some work out, besides he hadn't worked out for days now. It will help his shoulder heal faster. And lest he forgets, Amy's parents will be landing in California this evening. He had to prepare for their arrival

Tiffany and Amy stepped out ready for work. They came down the staircase and met Kol in the sitting room. He was ready for work too though he was working on something with his PC.

' breakfast is served, Kol. Won't you be joining us?' Amy asked Kol who was still very engrossed in what he was doing.

'I will. But I must say, you're sounding so excited today.' he said to her.

' of course, mum and dad will be returning today. oh! how much I've missed them.' she responded.

' I couldn't guess any other reason for your excitement' he said to her still working on his computer

'and lest I forget, you have to take your medicine this morning as instructed by the doctor.' Tiffany said feeling concerned.

' I'm good. I'll do that right after breakfast' Kol replied

'and how's your shoulder now, Kol?' Amy asked.

'it's okay now' Kol replied.

Amy sat beside him and placed her hand on the spot examining it. Kol groaned subconsciously. The injury wasn't healed completely.

'Amy? you didn't have to do that' Kol said shutting down his computer

'just wanted to make sure. Besides it's not completely healed yet' Amy replied rolling her eyeballs.

'okay let's have breakfast' Tiffany said walking towards the dining.

'good morning miss Becca. Here's your coffee' Courtney greeted putting down a cup of coffee cautiously in front of Rebecca.

then she sat on the chair facing Rebecca.

'thanks Courtney' Rebecca said taking a sip.

'have you been able to book a reservation for my meeting with Mr Lee?' Rebecca asked.

Mr Lee was the boss of KE( Kellogg's Entertainment). He needed a good and competent screenwriter for a movie his company was working on.

'yes Miss Becca. Your meeting is at McClain Hotels and Resorts by 2 p.m.'

'alright, that should be about 30 minutes drive. It's just okay.'

'alright Miss. I'll get all the documents ready before then.'

'okay Courtney' Rebecca replied.

'and Miss Becca, please be reminded that audition for the movie will begin in an hour. Your presence is very key ma'am.' Courtney reminded.

'sure, report to me in an hour and please come along with the scripts you've been able to go through so far.'

'yes Miss' Courtney replied walking out of the office.

Kol was at his office. It's another working week, so many things to do as usual.

Not long, David walked in.

'Boss you sent for me'

'yes David, how is my schedule in a few hours?' Kol asked

'you're going to be having a meeting with Platinum's boss Darren Miller in 2 hours' David replied

'okay, the board meeting is in 15 minutes. I'll meet you guys in the conference room' Kol said finally dismissing him.

In 15 minutes Kol walked into the conference room. The meeting was about to begin. He was about to kick start the meeting. He looked pretty good, at least not looking injured. He has always been a very strong person.

there was normal sitting arrangement. a rectangular table with members of staff sitting around it.

the atmosphere became calm as soon as Kol walked into the room. he commanded so much authority and was feared and highly respected by all.

they discussed about the new gaming project still being worked on and several other topics. The meeting lasted for about an hour 30 minutes.

the audition for some roles was supposed to have begun. Actually audition had been done about a month ago, just that there were still a few characters that needed to be selected. All the actors that were there to audition had arrived.

everyone was seated; the stage supervisor Mr Harris, the director Mr Donald and other production personnel were all seated. The only person missing was the screenwriter. And surprisingly her assistant was missing too.

'Miss Becca is really taking her time, isn't she? ' Mr Harris said to no one in particular.

almost immediately is Becca walks into the room. Her assistant, Courtney followed behind her

'Mr Donald, Manager Harris, my apologies for being late' Rebecca apologized.

' Miss Tiffany won't be coming in time today, she'll be here soon though.' Rebecca said to the production personnel.

' so, let's begin' she said finally kicking off the audition.
