1 First Day, Worst Day

Bella's P.O.V

"Morning mum" I say jumping down the stairs.

I was in the best mood ever. School was starting today and I finally got to see Emily again.

Emily, my best friend and crush. Blonde hair with piercing blue eyes that sparkled in the moonlight.

The best girlfriend anyone could ever ask for.

I got lost in my thoughts about her that I didn't hear my mum talking to me.

"Earth to Bella" She says waving a hand in front of my face.

"Sorry mum, just thinking about how exciting today is going to be" I lied.

Lying was a second language for me. I lied to My mum, my sister, my friends, my teachers and most of all I lied to Emily.

I lied to Emily about how I felt.

"Would you like a ride to school sweetie?" My mum asks me.

"No it's ok Emily's big sister is picking me and Rosie up in 10 minutes" I say looking at my right arm, checking the watch I got from my father before he died last summer.

I sighed.

I quickly ran upstairs, avoiding getting upset in front of my mum, and put my Ginger hair up into a ponytail.

I quickly grabbed my bag, packed my books and ran downstairs just in time for Emily to knock on the door.

I knew immediately that she was upset by the way she knocked. We had a system.

5 knocks - Happy

4 knocks - I know your hiding something

3 knocks - Upset

2 knocks - We need to talk

1 knock - If your not allowed out, sneak out

She did 3 knocks.

This must be why she has been avoiding my calls and texts the last month.

Whatever was wrong I would personally solve it or I would try fix it as much as I could.

I quickly ran to the door and opened it. I saw the most beautiful girl in front of me and I gave her a hug.

"Ok... ok lovebirds" Emily's big sister Lilly shouted from the window of the car " We need to leave now"

Lilly was always making jokes about how close the two of us were.

Emily chuckled whilst I blushed and ran inside to go get Rosie. Luckily she was already waiting for me in the kitchen.

"Come then let's go already!" Rosie says jumping off a stool.

So that's how the day started off. An 18 year old picking up two 15 year olds and a 13 year old. It was a good start hopefully it would be a good day.

"What's wrong?" I asked Emily as we exited Lilly's car and walked into the school building.

"It's Liam, he cheated on me with 2 different girls" Emily replies heartbroken.

I couldn't help but feel relieved.

"I am so sorry Emily" I say pulling her into a sideway hug.

I take her hand and we walk down the hallway talking.

" So how was summer?" Emily asks me.

"It was really good I missed you a lot though" I reply staring at her perfect lips.

If only she knew how much I really missed her...

"Aww I missed you to!" She said.

"You have English first right?" I ask in all seriousness trying to avoid anything touchy.

She doidn't know how I feel and to me she was to touchy considering we weren't dating.

Don't get me wrong I liked it but it also was unfair on me as it made me want her more.

"Yeh I do, we are in the same class remember?" She replies knowing something is wrong.

"Silly me must of forgot" I replied walking really fast now hoping the bell would ring soon.

Luckily for me, it did and we were soon in the classroom.

Emily's P.O.V

" Aww I missed you to!" I said replying to Bella.

I was about to give her a huge hug but she quickly jumped to the side and avoided it.

" You have English first right?" She asks already knowing the answer.

I looked over at her and noticed she had a really anxious face on.

I told her why I was down so why couldn't she tell me?

" Yeh I do, We are in the same class remember?" I reply worried.

" Silly me, must have forgot" She says and quickly walks away as the bell rings.

I sat down in class completely oblivious of what was going on around me.

I couldn't hear the teacher talking, people gossiping and Liam saying nasty comments in my ear.

I was having the worst day possible.

First day, Worst day.

Flashback

I was running to the hotel in Paris, France as I could hear thunder.

I had went to the shops to go get some food. It had been raining all week, and Liam wouldn't go out in the rain so it was up to me to go.

I told him I would be back by 6 it was only 4 so I would be a few hours early.

I was about to grab the key when I heard something coming from our room.

" I can't believe you cheated on me with My own sister!"  A girls voice I didn't recognise said.

"Millie calm down" I hear Liam say.

"WHAT WHO ON EARTH IS MILLIE?!AND WHO IS HER SISTER?!" I think moving closer to the door.

"Well since you decided to date me and my sister at once, I'm breaking up with you" Millie says.

"Fine"

Millie then storms out of the room and leaves the door open, not even realising i am there.

" Emily..." Liam says noticing me.

I felt the tears come to my eye and slowly trail down my face.

"Out" I said back " I'm packing then leaving, you can have the hotel room" I say and throw him the keys.

He doesn't do anything to stop me. He just stands there watching me pack all my belongings.

I Book the first flight home and run away from the hotel as fast as my legs can carry me.

"Emily, are you ok?" I hear the teacher say.

I looked around trying to find Bella but I couldn't find her. She must of left earlier to go write about what was wrong.  That was what cheered her up.

I didn't bother answering the teacher, I just grabbed my bag and left the room feeling everybody staring at me.

Bella's P.O.V

I left the classroom to clear my thoughts. The teacher never questioned me. After what happened last year, I was allowed to leave whenever I needed to clear my head.

It was my mums idea as she thinks I might get really bad again. She doesn't even know what is wrong most of the time. All she knows, and needs to know, is that I'm really down a lot of the time.

So I sat down in a corner of the library and took out a notebook. I started continuing my story all about a lesbian romance.

I was only two chapters in when I heard someone come in crying. It sounded a lot like Emily. It was Emily.

I quickly hid my notebook in my bag, stood up and went towards her.

She noticed me immediately.

"Bella, I'm not over him" She said placing her head on my shoulder and crying.

I hugged her and comforted her. Liam had ruined her and now I was going to ruin him. I made sure to tell her that.

She chuckled, "Bella it's ok, I will just avoid him"

" Ok" I say pretending to be upset.

In reality I am relieved. I hate violence.

" I know it's not your scene, but can we go to the Back to School party tonight?" She asks me with a pleading face on.

She knows I can't say no to her.

"Fine, but if you get anywhere near drunk..." I say.

"I won't" She says seriously " YEY we are going to a party"

"Yes we are going to a party" I say trying to sound happy.

This is going to be a nightmare.
