Chapter II

The next morning Amya walked into school after getting off the bus and got breakfast. Then she went over to her friends at the table they always sit at. "Morning guys," Amya greeted. "Have you seen the new kids."

"No not yet, we might not even see them today," Katarmi joked knowing it might have been true. "Everyone's gonna crowd around them, you know."

"Yeah, no kidding," Helen laughed.

All of a sudden Felicia ran out the cafeteria bumping into David. "Geez," David mumbled under his breath as Lachlan walked over.

"You ok," Lachlan chuckled.

"Yeah thahhh..." David tried to say but Lachlan pulled him over to our table as Ella, Chelsea and Ashley got up to run out the door. "Thanks again," David laughed.

"No kidding, they must be here," Helen laughed as she watched some more kids run out the door.

"Should we go to class early to avoid this and be friends?" David laughed.

"Yeah sure," Amya laughed. They then quickly walked out of the cafeteria after throwing their trash away.

They then said goodbye as each went off to their classes. Amya and Lucifer were left walking to their class. "Amya, why do you think you had the feeling to listen to Felicia, normally when you sense something, something happens," Lucifer stated.

"I-I don't know Lucifer," Amya sighed. Amya wanted to tell him so badly that 'she started sensing things after her brother passed away' but then again she didn't.

"You know our secrets, why don't you tell us yours at lunch," Lucifer suggested.

"We'll see," Amya sighed as they walked into class. They only knew little.

Amya's classes were a little rowdy but no new kids showed. At lunch Amya got her lunch and sat with her friends. "Amya said she might tell some of her secrets," Lucifer said after everyone finished eating.

"Really?" Lucella asked excitedly.

"Sure," Amy sighed and took a deep breath. "You know how my chest starts hurting and I sense things."

"Yeah, what about it?" David asked.

"Well it started a month after my brother died in a car accident," Amya then looked down as tears started swelling in her eyes.

"Oh my god," Katarmi cried.

"Amya, I'm so sorry," Lucifer got up and hugged her.

"Every time I sense something, I think it's my brother telling me something," Amya cried with tears rolling down her face.

"I'm sorry," Lucella sighed and walked over to hug her. "You must have been close."

"We were, we were best friends he took me everywhere, and I was there, I saw him go, right in front of me," Amya cried harder.

"Amya, it's ok we're here for you," Helen walked over and hugged her.

"The thing is, it was the other driver's fault and I get blamed by my grandma," Amya looked up. "The last words he said to me was, goodbye sis, I'll love you and protect you."

"That's so sad, I'm so sorry," David walked over and hugged Amya.

"Hey, can you be quiet," Felicia sighed.

"Felicia, you..." Lucifer looked away then looked back at Amya as she brought her hands to her chest and curled up.

They stopped hugging her and were about to help her up but heard a girl ask. "Is she ok?"

"Uh, yeah it only lasts about fifteen minutes," Katarmi answered as they noticed two kids walking up.

"Should I carry her to the nurse," The boy asked. "Or help her up."

"Uh sure, you can help her up, she can still walk," Lucifer said in shock.

"How often does this happen?" He asked while helping Amya up.

"Every other day, but it happens rarely a couple days in a row," Helen explained.

"Sorry for not introducing ourselves, my name's Everest and this is my brother Isaiah," The girl said. All of a sudden Amya turned and hugged Isaiah tightly, softly crying onto his shoulder. "What's wrong."

"She told us about her brother," Lucifer explained. "He died in a car accident."

"What was his name?" Everest asked.

"I-I don't know," Lucifer sighed looking at Amya hugging Isaiah who hugged her back hearing about her brother.

"H-his name w-was Isaac," Amya stuttered faintly, crying into Isaiah's shoulder.

"I'm so sorry," Everest sighed.

"Hey, it's ok," Isaiah made her look at him.

"I-I-I'm so sorry," Amya stepped back.

"It's fine," Isaiah laughed. "I'm sorry about your brother, are you ok."

"Yeah, I'm fine," Amya replied.

"Wasn't your chest starting to hurt?" David asked in confusion.

"Yeah, but it doesn't," Amya laughed. They then stood speechless.

"What?," Amya asked.

"Normally it lasts for fifteen minutes," Lucifer pointed out.

"Yeah I, wait oh my gosh, what, how," Amya said in shock.

"What happened?" Everest asked.

"I-I don't know," Amya cried. "I thought you said Isaac and hugged him."

"So you thought he was your brother," Lucifer stated. "How'd that work?"

"Well if you think about it Lucy," Lucella sighed. "It started happening after her brother passed away, so bring him back..."

"And she'd be fine," Helen finished.

"But, we can't bring him back," Lucifer sighed and looked at Amya. "You're red."

"Uh, I-I-I a-am," Amya stuttered. "I." She then darted her head quickly and looked down, then looked at Isaiah and hugged him.

"Amya, what are," Lucifer asked, confused.

"I was testing something," Amya smiled.

"What do you mean," Isaiah asked.

"I-I was right to," Amya stepped back. "The pain was coming back, so I hugged him, and it went away. My brother made me listen to Felicia, so I could figure out why."

"Wait what," Felicia walked over.

"Go aw..." Lucifer tried to say.

"He was trying to tell me there could be a solution to my problem," Amya interrupted.

"So you're saying that your dead brother made them come here as a gift to you," Felicia laughed. "How pathetic."

"Pathetic, says the one picking on a broken soul," Isaiah scowled.

Felicia looked at him in shock. "So you're taking her side, you don't even know her."

"I know more about her than you," Isaiah replied. "So, why should I take your side?"

Amya then looked at Isaiah and laughed.

"It's not funny," Felicia scowled.

"I'm not laughing at that," Amya laughed. "It's just that my brother was severely overprotective of me, and I know he..."

"I can't believe this nonsense," Felicia sighed and looked at Ella

"Well, who else would like to watch their close sibling die right in front of them, hearing the last very words they'll hear from them, especially if it's for you," Helen pointed out.

Felicia then looked at Helen in shock. "Well excuse me, I'll leave then."

"Wait," Amya said as she walked away.

"What is it now," Felicia sighed, stopping.

Amya then hugged Felicia. "Amya what are you doing?" Lucella asked, confused.

"Oh, hang on," Amya laughed then went over to hug Ella and came back.

"What was that?" Felicia scowled.

"That was a thank you," Amya smiled.

"For what?" Lucifer sighed.

"And Ella, be more careful around roads," Amya said seriously with a blank expression.

"Amya?" Lucella asked worriedly.

"What?" Amya asked, confused.

"Why'd you just tell Ella to be more careful around roads?" Lucifer asked.

"What are you talking about, I've never said that," Amya looked at Ella.

"Well you did," David looked confused.

Amya then closed her eyes and saw a car hitting Amya. "No, no, no," Amya cried, opening her eyes. "Why would you..."

"Amya," Isaiah said in shock and put his hand on her shoulder. She then looked at him with worry. "What is it?"

"My brother said it," Amya spit out, sitting down. "My brother told her." Amya started crying. "It was my brother."

"Amya," Isaiah hugged her. "I-It's ok."

"You're telling lies," Felicia snapped.

"Do you believe in ghosts?" Lucella asked.

"No," Felicia laughed.

"Wait," Lucifer then pulled out his phone and took a picture of Amya and Isaiah.

"That's not necessary Lucy," Helen sighed.

Lucifer just stood looking at the picture in shock. "Lucy, you ok?" Lucella walked over.

"Y-yeah I'm fine," Lucifer replied as Lucella took his phone and looked at the picture.

"Oh my god," Lucella looked over at Amya and Isaiah. "I-I-I, Amya you're such an angel."

"What are you talking about," Amya turned around. "Let me see."

Lucella walked over and showed Amya and Isaiah the photo. The photo had a faint figure of a boy and Amya seemed to have a halo above her head. "T-that's my brother." Amya then pulled up a photo of her and her brother on her phone and took a deep breath.

"Oh my gosh," Lucella laughed. "It is."

"Let me see," Felicia walked over and looked. "Wait, your brother was Isaac."

"Yes," Amya sighed.

"You mean Isaac Wintalox?" Felicia asked.

"Yeah, why?" Amya asked.

"Oh my god, I-I'm so sorry." Felicia then hugged Amya. "He was my friend."

"You want to know what Wintalox came from?" Amya asked cheerfully.

"Sure," Felicia smiled.

"W is for wolf, i-n-t is for mint, a is for angel, l-o is for love and x is for fox," Amya laughed. "It's not our family's name, our parents wrote that as our last name, my mom told me that she and dad loved mints, wolves and foxes, and that we were their angels."

"That's so cool, so your last name means angels that love mints, wolves and foxes," Lucella laughed.

"Yeah," Amya laughed.

"Hey, brat," Emily called while walking over. "Trying to get attention again."

"Uh, Emily, wouldn't it be better to mind your own business," Felicia sighed.

"Why have you never liked me," Emily frowned. "Why do you hate me?"

"Because you're an annoying brat," Felicia sighed. "We're enemies too, ya know."

"You're not gonna drop that, are you?" Emily sighed. "Get over it Felicia."

"You ruined my birthday party," Felicia scowled. "You think I could forget that, who ruins a friend's birthday party, especially on her 16th birthday, I was thinking I'd rather invite Amya and that's saying something."

"I said I was sorry," Emily sighed.

"Sorry doesn't cut it," Felicia yelled.

"What'd she do?" Isaiah asked.

"She kissed my crush and she knew I liked him, and she's dating him," Felicia replied harshly. "You think I could forgive that."

"Jesus," Everest said in disgust.

Amya then looked at Felicia then at Isaiah.

"Emily, leave them alone," Blair came over.

"Who's side are you on," Emily yelled.

"I'm not on anyone's side, I'm just saying you're going too far," Blair sighed.

"Fine then," Emily sighed and walked away.

"Why does my sister have to be ticked off so easily?" Amya sighed.

"Did you catch the memo sweetie, she's a redhead," Felicia sighed.

"I was being sarcastic," Amya sighed. "I know that, and she's my half sister, Isaac was my only full sibling, and my parents are divorced and hers too, but he clearly was forgotten, it's like he disappeared without a trace, no one in my family speaks to him."

"How are you not hurting," Lucella asked.

"Isaiah's hand is on my shoulder," Amya laughed. "I'm allowed to see my mom, but my grandma doesn't let me see my father, she knows I want to see him though."

"You know what," Felicia sighed. "Being the richest brat in this school is boring."

"What do you mean?" Lucifer asked.

"Since Ella is friends with Emily I have to deal with her, and I'm tired of it, besides I like telling that crush stealing..." Felicia was cut off by the bell. "I'll be sitting here tomorrow."

They then walked down the hallway after throwing out their trash and each split off as they passed their classes until Isaiah, Felicia and Amya were left. "Your brother helped you get three new friends today," Felicia laughed.

"Yeah, no kidding," Amya laughed.

"So we all have the same class," Isaiah laughed. "Chemistry."

"Yeah," Amya laughed.

"This is the first class today for me," Isaiah laughed as they walked into class. "That's because me and my sister were plotting out where to go tomorrow with the map, so we don't need to use it tomorrow, they let us."

"That's cool, so we might have more classes together," Amya laughed as they found three seats next to each other.
