78 The Blonde Girl

The four of them stood outside the restaurant, waiting for the car to come.

After a while, Mo Haoyu's driver arrived, and the four of them filed into the car with Mo Haoyu sitting in the front.

The back could fit three people, and the three of them paused as they contemplated on how they should arrange themselves. Logically, Xu Anyi should sit in the middle as she was the smallest of the three in terms of body size.

However, Si Mu would obviously not let Bai Yu sit so closely next to her, even if he was his best friend. So, in the end, Si Mu ended up squeezing in the middle seat.

He looked incredibly uncomfortable, especially due to his long legs, which were brought up awkwardly as his knees were almost touching his chest.

Xu Anyi glanced over at him and the cold expression on his face and she pressed her lips together, suppressing a smile.

"Mo Haoyu, what is this car? You couldn't afford a bigger car?" Si Mu stated angrily.

Mo Haoyu turned around and a chuckle escaped his lips when he saw the position Si Mu was in, "I usually don't have this many passengers. Plus, this car is expensive, okay?"

Si Mu narrowed his eyes as the driver started the car and they began driving down the city.

They drove out of the middle urban part of the city and began driving to the sides, and soon, they reached a bumpy dirt road. Si Mu's expression turned worse as they road down the shaky road, and when they turned the corner, a motorcycle suddenly appeared, turning the corner sharply.

The driver was forced to swerve the car to the right to avoid the motorcycle, and Si Mu, who was sitting in the middle with nothing to grab on to, also fell to the left.

Xu Anyi was sitting right to his left, and he fell straight onto her, their bodies clashing together. Xu Anyi tried to hold onto him, but he was too heavy and tall for her to support.

Not wanting to hit her, Si Mu quickly turned his body to the side and used his hand to press onto the window, so he faced Xu Anyi, their faces almost touching from the sudden movement.

"Oohh!" Bai Yu immediately mouthed when he saw the scene, and he quickly caught his balance as well as he smirked, looking at the couple next to him with amusement.

"Are you okay?" Si Mu asked as he quickly pushed himself back, and Xu Anyi's face had turned red again as she nodded her head.

Yes, nothing happened except for the fact that her heart was running off furiously now.

"Watch how you're driving," Si Mu warned the driver, who nervously nodded. However, Si Mu's expression wasn't as cold as before and he did not seem actually mad at the driver for the incident that had just occurred.

It took about half an hour before they finally arrived outside a building with a lit-up sign. They got off the car and it took a second for Si Mu to stretch out his legs and move comfortably.

The four of them entered the building, which looked quite shabby on the outside, and a staircase led down to a large area underground, which had several pool tables.

The interior design was much more extravagant, and each of the pool tables had a different extravagant design. There weren't many people inside, and the tables were placed quite far away from each other, so the few groups of people that were inside talked amongst themselves.

A soft jazz music was playing in the background as they entered, and on top of the talking, you could only hear the sound of balls being hit across the table and the bartender shaking up a cocktail at the bar in the middle of the room.

A worker greeted them when they arrived and Mo Haoyu pulled out a card, showing the worker, who looked at the card and then led them over to the table in the corner.

It was one of the more private tables in the corner of the large room and there was a black couch behind the table where they could sit.

"Here is a menu for the drinks," the worker said, placing a black menu onto the table and then arranging the balls on the table, "Enjoy."

After she walked away, Mo Haoyu grabbed the menu and began looking through it, "I'll just get a bottle of wine and beer like normal, okay?"

He then turned to Xu Anyi, "Sister-in-law, what do you want to drink?"

"Whatever you order is fine for me," she replied with a smile. She hasn't had much alcohol in a while already, except the last time she went to Xia Yiwei's birthday party, and she was in a good mood today.

However, Si Mu took over the menu and glanced at it, "It's so late and drinking alcohol is not good. I'll order you a non-alcoholic juice."

Xu Anyi pursed her lips together unhappily but nodded her head. Then, she walked over to the array of pool cues hanging from the wall next to the couch and began looking through them, picking one that was right for her.

She looked at each one, grazing her fingers past the smooth surface of each stick.

"Do you need help?" She heard Si Mu ask from behind her.

She shook her head, picking up one of the medium-length rods in the middle. She turned around to try it on the pool table and saw that Si Mu and Mo Haoyu had walked over to the bar to order the drinks.

She did not care much and began testing the bars, finding that this one was still not very comfortable. She turned back around to find another one, and as she was looking through them, she suddenly saw Bai Yu stand up from the couch, his eyes widening.

"Um. . . sister-in-law. . ." He spoke hesitantly.

She raised an eyebrow and looked over at him, seeing that he was looking at the bar. She frowned and turned around, wondering what he was looking at.

At the bar, Si Mu and Mo Haoyu were not alone anymore.

A woman with long curly blonde hair and wearing a very sexy black dress had joined them, and she was standing right next to Si Mu.

She was leaning against the bar counter, her waist tilted forward, and from Xu Anyi's angle, it almost looked like she was pressing against Si Mu.

At once, Xu Anyi's eyes narrowed as she lowered her hand from the wall, glaring over at their direction.

Bai Yu obviously sensed that something was wrong, and he began walking over in their direction.

Although Si Mu was not looking over at the woman, they were standing quite close. As Bai Yu walked over, he stood next to Si Mu and Mo Haoyu, just in time for the woman to smile and ask Si Mu, "Do you want to join us?"

She looked over at a small group of people sitting at the other corner of the room, which consisted of mostly beautiful girls like her and a few guys.

She smiled, batting her long fake lashes at Si Mu as she tilted her head to the side, her bouncy blonde curls flipping with her movement.

Bai Yu frowned and placed one hand on Si Mu's shoulder, "Can't you see he's with us?"

Si Mu continued to watch the bartender as if he had not even noticed that there was a stranger standing next to him, and the girl frowned slightly at being ignored so blatantly.

She glanced over at Bai Yu and Mo Haoyu and then smiled, "I don't mind all of you joining. We have several girls bored over there. But you. . ."

Her gaze moved back onto Si Mu and she slowly lifted her hand up, grinning as she moved her finger over towards his face, wanting to touch his chin.

". . . are mine-"

However, before she could even near him, he quickly stepped back, furrowing his eyebrows together. Her hand froze in midair and she raised an eyebrow in amusement.

Seeing this, Xu Anyi raised an eyebrow as her expression darkened and she reached her arm back, picking a random rod from the wall. Then, she grabbed onto it and walked over to the bar area.

The girl had her back facing her, so she did not see Xu Anyi until Xu Anyi reached her arm out and pushed the girl's hand away forcefully, causing it to hit the counter of the bar.

Xu Anyi stood next to Si Mu, wrapping her hand around his arm and turning to face the girl with a provocative smile, "Since when did my boyfriend become yours?"

She looked at Si Mu, using her pointer finger to lift his chin up. He did not move away and very cooperatively let her touch him and move his head in whatever direction she wished.

Xu Anyi raised an eyebrow, smiling wryly, "How come I don't know about this?"
