82 Husband and Wife Bully

After they left, Xu Anyi was about to turn around when she suddenly felt a surge of warmth on her back.

She turned around and saw Si Mu throw her coat back onto her, and as she put it on, he buttoned the coat one by one again with a frown on his face.

She smiled and slid her arms into the sleeves, then hugged him around his waist, "Si Mu. . ."

She smiled, "Was I good?"

Her bright smile made Si Mu's expression lighten slightly as his heart skipped a beat, but he maintained a straight face as he slowly nodded. However, he continued to frown as he replied coldly, "Don't joke around about me like that again in the future. What if you lost?"

Xu Anyi could tell that he was upset and she lifted her hand up, using two fingers to push the corners of his lips upwards as she replied confidently, "I won't lose."

Her expression then turned serious as she added, "I can't lose."

Hearing this, Si Mu's lips turned upwards naturally as he lifted his arm up and lightly hit her head in an affectionate way, and she chuckled softly in response.

He had let her continue on with the competition because he knew that even if he lost, he would not allow anything to happen to him or her. So, if she wanted to play, then he would just let her.

"Come on, let's go play," Xu Anyi said, turning to face Mo Haoyu and Bai Yu, who had just gotten fed another mouthful of dog food.

She grabbed onto her cue again and began walking back to their pool table in the corner of the room.

As she walked, she looked down at the pool cue in her hands and smiled silently. Of course she knew how to play pool. . .

She thought back to ten years ago, when she was still in high school.

Back then, she was only about 16 years old, and she was having the time of her life with her friends. She would secretly go out and play with the "bad kids" of the school and Qin Beihou.

After an incident, she had gotten involved with the group of kids in the school who didn't really care about academics and played around a lot, hence labeled the "bad kids".

However, they were actually quite fun and Xu Anyi got along well with them.

They would often go to the pool club together, and she quickly found out her hidden talent in playing pool. She could easily beat all of her friends, and she even won a match against the owner of the club she had gone to!

Of course this affected Xu Anyi's schoolwork, and her dad soon found out about it. He was furious, which was why when she was 17, he decided to switch schools for her and send her out of the country to Country M to learn and grow.

However, things did not exactly go as her father had planned in Country M either. . . But of course he never knew about that.

Xu Anyi broke out of her thoughts as Mo Haoyu and Bai Yu returned with the drinks and the four of them began playing.

"We can play in pairs!" Bai Yu brought up, "I want to pair with sis-"

Before he could finish his sentence, Si Mu had naturally stood next to Xu Anyi, and Bai Yu reluctantly shut his mouth as he pursed his lips together unhappily.

"Not fair! Si Mu, you already know we can't beat you! So, our only chance is to have sister-in-law. If you two play together, what's the point then!"

However, Si Mu did not care as he grabbed a cue and took a sip of the drink he had ordered, then turned to look at Xu Anyi, "Do you have any problems with the teaming?"

Xu Anyi smiled and shook her head.

Bai Yu & Mo Haoyu: ". . ."

This husband and wife were bullying them!

Of course, Bai Yu and Mo Haoyu lost without a doubt after three rounds, even when Xu Anyi very generously let them win the last round.

It was very late already when they finished, so the four of them left, and Si Mu's car had arrived in front of the building.

Since Si Mu had drank, the driver drove them back to their house, and by the time they were inside, it was past midnight already.

Xu Anyi hurriedly got ready for bed, exhausted, and after removing her makeup and taking a quick shower, she walked out of the bathroom, getting ready to jump straight into her comfortable bed.

However, as she stepped into her room, her eyes widened when she saw another person laying in her bed already.

"Si Mu! Wh- What are you doing here?!"
