10 I Want the Woman Who Accompanied Me that Night

Yi Wantian was stunned when he heard his cold voice.

"Young Master Mu?"

The man turned to look at Yi Wantian and said in a cold voice, "You were scheming and even fawned on me like this. Now that I'm here, you beat around the bush intentionally. Don't you think it's rather boring?"

"This..." Yi Wantian was helpless. He did not know what he meant.

"Since you've promised first, where is your daughter? Where is she?"

Yi Wantian soon glanced at Yi Qianya when he heard that. Yi Qianya then regained her senses after being stared like that and looked at him doubtfully.

"Young Master Mu, isn't my daughter here?" Yi Wantian smiled and said. Then, he signaled to his wife.

Mama Yi understood his signal. She then nudged Yi Qianya slightly and wanted her to speak.

Yi Qianya saw that the man was looking at her but did not dare to look at him again. However, she did not know what to say when she was facing that man.

At the next second, the man got up angrily and left immediately.

Yi Wantian saw what had happened and became nervous immediately. Then, he rushed after him by taking big strides. He followed after than man and kept apologizing to him.

"Young Master Mu, everything was fine just now. Why did you feel angry and left immediately?

"Young Master Mu..."

The man suddenly stopped walking. Yi Wantian did not get to stand properly and he nearly bumped into that man.

"Do you want to discuss business with me?"

"Young Master Mu, this..." Yi Wantian smiled awkwardly.

"If you want to have a business deal with me, bring me that woman of that night. I might be able to reconsider the business deal." Then, the man did not bother about Yi Wantian anymore and left with his subordinates.

Yi Wantian was speechless.

He stood there for a long while. He did not understand what the man had meant.

What did he mean by saying the woman of that night?

Was it not his daughter Qianya there, at the restaurant?

Yi Wantian was greatly annoyed that his well-planned dinner had ended like that.

Yi Qianya was not stupid. She soon realized that something was wrong. She looked at her mother who sat beside her and asked, "Mom, what happened?"

Mama Yi looked at Yi Wantian who was making calls and scolding his subordinates angrily. She was slightly scared. Then, she said to her daughter, "Yaya, your dad asked you to attend a blind date at King Hotel that day. Did you stay in the hotel that night?"

"Why would I stay in the hotel?" Yi Qianya was puzzled. She explained to her mother, "I told you that I went for an audition that night. I asked my friend to wait for that guy for me but he did not show up. What kind of blind date was that? Wait..."

Yi Qianya sat there helplessly, in a daze. So, everything was a lie. It was not a blind date but a huge trap. Everything was planned out properly. Moreover, Youyou was sent to the suite to serve as a treat for that man.

A blind date? How ridiculous!

Yi Qianya remained expressionless after she knew the truth. She remembered how Youyou appeared that day—a little out of sorts. So, that was what had happened.
