21 Consequences
Part 1, Jonathan's Pov

Ethan Augustine had no one supporting him... Not even the Duke. Thier alliance was still not solidified yet... So There was a need for me to act fast or else I might never overcome the wall that he had created in my path.
I still don't understand... How was he able to accomplish such a feat? Did he know something that the Duke was hiding or he had something that the Duke wanted?
" How the hell did this happen?" Albert spoke.
Albert used to be someone that I was using for achieving my goals... But now our alliance wasn't like that. He was someone I treated as an equal because of his immense talent.
Undoubtedly one of the strongest among the second-year students and even having the support of the imperial family. These were the things that made him dangerous ...He had no weaknesses, except for one that only I knew.
" How the hell did they not find her in their cabinet?" He slammed his hands on the meeting desk.
"... We don't know the details but they only found Davis in the room? Currently, Ethan Augustine and Laura Mauser are missing." Petro spoke.
" ...I am sure he is behind this," I spoke up. "That guy must have taken out Laura and ran away somewhere to hide her."
" But... Doesn't that mean that he already knew about my plan? Which one of you Bastards leaked it?" Albert shouted making the other members flinch in fear.
" Calm down Albert... Shouldn't we think about what to do next? Davis will probably not face any issues but Ethan is not safe from this... Our main target was him since the beginning." Janice spoke.
She was also part of our group but she was only here because of Albert. She might be trustworthy to Albert but I never trusted her.
"...No, We've failed," I spoke.
" What do you mean?" Petro asked.
" According to the dorm guards... Ethan entered the second-year dormitory to meet me, but I don't have any recollection of that Event."
" I don't understand what you want to say. How come that bastard ...came to your room and you don't even remember?" Albert asked.
Others were confused as well...
" He used some kind of spell to make me forget everything... My ribs are damaged, it means we fought and then he made me forget everything after getting the information." I explained.
"...I don't believe that you are foolish enough to tell him that."
" Not unless he used 'Hypnosis Spell'?" Petro, one of the talented students in magic and a second year spoke.
Hearing that surprised every other member ...but, there was no other explanation for this.
" Ethan doesn't have a mana vessel... He said it himself in front of his class." Janice spoke. "He couldn't have lied about it."
"... Honestly, are we not underestimating him too much?" Petro spoke.
Underestimating... Yes, I underestimated him too much. At first, I thought that his threats had no meaning, and then I thought I could deal with him. However, nothing went as I thought...
" Then we should go with your plan... Deal with Ethan, and trap Davis using him as a hostage." Albert spoke.
" It's risky...don't underestimate the Taron family. The imperial family also wants to avoid offending them... Fearing that they would join the other side."
Janice had a point... But there was no other way.
One thing was clear, I needed to deal with Ethan Augustine before he becomes even more of a threat...
" We will attack tomorrow..."

Part 2, Ethan's Pov

-zzzzzzzzzz PANG !!! PANG !!!! PANG !!!
That was the sound I heard as the entire area was electrified and it even caused many things to break... The students who were surrounding us all fell on thier knees and some weren't even moving.
" Huff! huff!" Luna breathed heavily after casting such a spell... How did she do it? I had no idea.
I had no idea she had such a powerful spell in her arsenal...
Everyone including Jonathan and Albert was laying on the ground unable to recover from the shock.
" Huff... How are you still standing?" She spoke.
She realised that the spell had also hit me in the process...
" I am sorry... I tried my best to control the spell but the power was too much for me to handle... And using that spell was the only way to save both of us... It's better than losing a hand, isn't it?"
I could see a faint smile on her face...
Was she proud of herself that she was able to cast such a complicated high-tier spell?
" Pfthaha! Haha! You are the best." I laughed seeing her like that... But, everything had suddenly become so easy.
" Thank you, Luna..." I thanked her for making everything easy for me.
" Hmph! I didn't do it for you... That guys pointed their wands at me and even called me a 'B'... Now, look at them crawling like one."
" Yeah... You took your revenge, Now, it's my turn to get some payback?"
Luna had turned everything upside down for them... These guys didn't even fear the academy and came after me. Probably because they think that their family would save them and that no one will raise their voice even if something happens to me.
I walked towards the guy who was the most confident among them... Albert Drew.
He had covered himself in the Aura to protect himself from taking as much damage as the others took...
His hands were shaking but he was slowly recovering. Unlike him, I wasn't affected by Luna's attack at all...
The Red Dragon's Vessel which absorbs all kinds of magic attacks protected my body from her attack... That lighting spell was casted using mana and Red Dragon's vessel consumed it without any issues.
I slowly walked behind Albert who wasn't able to move his body... Seeing me walking behind his back he struggled.
I grabbed his hair and did the same thing that was done to me...
-Bam !!!
" Kuargh!!!"
He took damage but his body was much stronger compared to a normal human.
- Bam !!!
- Bam !!!
- Bam !!!
Finally after smashing his head many times using all of my strength... His head also started to bleed.
Next, I grabbed his hand and wriggled it...
" N- No... stop..." He spoke meekly.
-Crack !!!
" EEEYYYYAAAAHHH !!!" He let out a painful scream.
The others were regaining consciousness but unlike Albert, they weren't able to move thier bodies. Only thier eyes were opened to see a blurred vision and hear Albert screaming.
I did the same thing with his legs and ankles...
" Hey stop it, that's enough... Let's go report to the teachers." Luna spoke looking at me. " You have done enough..."
I had no plans of leaving him yet... These injuries can easily be healed but I was going to do something that will assure that he is no longer a threat in the future.
One must be ready to face the consequences of thier actions...
I am ready to accept even death for what I plan to do in this life... And, everything will begin from this moment.
Through him, I will send a message to everyone... What happens when they mess with an Augustine?
One that has the Pure Blood...
One who isn't fake...
" Jonathan... It's not over for you after what I am going to do today. You have crossed the line twice... Let me show you why you should have never messed with me?"
As I said this the red glow from the ring covered Albert's body...
" W- What are you doing?" Luna asked.
She couldn't tell what was happening... All she could see was a red light covering Albert and after some time, me letting go of him.
" What did you do?" Luna ran upto Albert to check something.
Her face stiffened as she sent a wave of her mana into his body... She gulped after realising what I did.
I left Albert alone and walked towards Jonathan next who watched everything happening in front of his eyes but couldn't do anything.
" Wh-at ... Did you do to ...A-Albert?" He stuttered.
I pulled his hair and lifted him to my eye level... Helping him sit on his knees and using the Red Dragon's Vessel to do the same thing that I did to his pawn.
" In my hand... I have the weapon that every mage and knight in the world fears. Something that only a Pure Blood... Only A True Augustine can use." I spoke and then continued.
" I admit that I don't have the talent in magic like my predecessors... But why does everyone forgets why a true Augustine is feared by all? Why is there a saying from old times... Don't ever dare to Underestimate A True Augustine..."
" I will no longer care... I had stopped caring whether or not I should forgive someone... To give them a chance. I will do what I think is convenient..."
Jonathan's eyes widened ... He was feeling it? The last hope he had was being taken out of his body. His mana was being sucked out by something from his body without any resistance.
I was just about to finish... When suddenly.
" Ethan !!" I heard Davis's voice.
I sped up the process, finished draining his mana from his body and then dropped Jonathan on the floor.
Covered in sweat... Davis was there with some other students. There was one other familiar face beside him... It was Janice. Was she also involved in Jonathan's plan? It was possible ...Albert did say that they were going to bait Davis using me.
So Janice and those students were probably tasked with bringing him here.
The expression of disbelief on thier faces as they saw me dropping Jonathan on the ground was an amusing sight to see.
" What happened?" Davis spoke.
" Nothing happened."
" You look like a tomato... Hey specky, take him to the infirmary."
" Huh! Ah right... F*ck, he really looks like a tomato." Luna came out of her daze and spoke up.
Veins popped into my head after hearing that joke from both of them but somehow it made me laugh...
" Pfthaha... I think you are right. Let's go Davis we are done for today."
" No, You can go. I will report everything to the teachers then I will come... Hey specky, go with him."

Part 3, Davis' Pov

" Albert get up... Get up." Janice spoke.
I was really mad and worried for Ethan... I didn't know what I would do when I was brought here.
I was even ready to use the powers that my father had told me to keep hidden from others no matter what happens...
But For Ethan, I will break any promise...
" Heed my words Davis, tell your friend that... The Marquise Fleur family will do anything in thier power to get rid of him. Tell him to be prepared ...his days are numbered."
" Aren't you a fool?" I spoke.
" Don't underestimate my family ...They can easily fight the Tarons, We won't be the only ones going against the Taron family if you decided to protect Ethan."
" So what?"
" Do you think I am joking? The Augustines will never support him."
" No, I think you are pretty serious ...But aren't you forgetting something? Today isn't about a fight between families... That will happen in the future."
" As I had said in the past... Ethan is too lenient, he left without finishing the job properly."
Janice's face grew grim... As I spoke my next words...
" Did you forget what I warned you about?" I spoke " I said, Stay away from my friend and If 'I hear you insult my friend ever again, I will make it so that you would have to hide your face your entire life..... I was also serious that time."
I spoke, I don't know what kind of face I was making... But my head felt like it was steaming from anger.
" You- you... Stay away from me, attack him!"
She shouted when I started to walk towards her and ordered the others to attack me.
But before they could attack... Thier bodies started to float. Not only them... Janice, Albert, and others were already flying over the floor.
Everyone floated in the air because of my powers...
" Let go of us... Let go of us... You monster!" Janice screamed.
" Ethan is too lenient... But I need him to stay that way. I made a promise to someone, to always protect him... And now he is as important as that person to me. You dared to touch him... You dared to make him bleed,"
I pulled Janice closer to me, she stopped screaming and looked at me with a dreadful expression on her face...
" Let's start with your face."
