4 Chapter 4 : Birth of a new class

Bittu was speaking and laughing while sleeping. He slept because of the sudden dizziness he had right after he went mad. Being tired because of unknown reasons to him, his eyelids closed after just a couple of seconds.

Right now, he was sleeptalking. In the dream, he saw people yelling at him. He didn't recognize them and tried to ask their identity, but they continued chanting repeatedly.

After sometime, he grew annoyed with them repeating the same things, so in annoyance he started kicking and punching them whenever they approached him, finding enjoyment in doing so.

If Bittu was sane, he would immediately notice that they were the people; his relatives, his family and Aisha, that were dragging him towards the darkness.

After an unknown period, Bittu woke up and spoke in slight anger,

"...Mahdifonrbdjjd.…"

He blinked his eyes as he stretched his body to wake up and looked around. He saw that six cards were floating before him, midair.

That's right–there were six cards before Bittu instead of the original five.

The backside of the mysterious cards featured the same intricate, mesmerizing design that combined ethereal elements with enigmatic symbols. An elaborate, swirling pattern reminiscent of ancient runes or celestial constellations, creating the otherworldly aura. The color palette included deep purples, blues, and gold, evoking a sense of magic and mystery.

This grabbed his attention once again, this time while he wasn't in the right condition. He ran towards them, captivated by their unique presence.

He touched the same one as earlier to satisfy his curiosity. It was soft to his touch.

Bittu liked this feeling, so he caressed the cards all around.

After a while, he was curious as to see how it would be like from the other side so, he moved to the front or at least he tried but, his efforts resulted in failure. He was stuck, unable to move forward.

Almost like a barrier erected there, he couldn't go past the line that the floating cards have created.

Even when he tried to use force, it was of no use.

This ignited anger in him as he clenched his fists and punched and kicked the one nearest to him to vent his anger.

First, He kicked the one he was kneading and caressing just now. He tried to destroy it thinking it would be easy, but he could not. This made him irritated and annoyed.

His eyes then landed on the second one. He tried to turn it around too, but to no avail. Unable to do anything, he wanted to tear it too, but the results were same, not even a scratch.

Bittu, now enraged and frustrated, turned to the third one.

This time, instead of turning it around, he instantly attacked in his anger.

Bittu didn't have mercy and used his utmost strength to attack and destroy them.

*shine*

This time, there was a reaction. The three cards that Bittu touched immediately shined in different colours.

The first one: green

The second one: brown

The third one: Mix of red and purple

"....ajaiendjkdkend?!...."

This sight shocked Bittu. He immediately jumped back, thinking that these cards were about to attack him with these strange colours, which actually proved to be true.

Those three cards were glowing darker and darker by the second and when it seemed to reach its limit, they shot at him, particularly on chest.

Bittu tried to jump back to avoid it, thinking that it was an attack, but before he could even react, those cards entered his body with the speed of sound.

After that!

Subsequently, and consecutively, four lights shot at him from unknown places in the realm that Bittu couldn't see.

The first light was black with hints of grey.

The second light was crystal blue.

The third light was of no colour; invisible would be the word to describe it, but that also doesn't quite explain because you can feel something coming your way. It was an otherworldly, strange feeling.

The fourth was not a light but the card itself. It was the same card that manifested out of nowhere before Bittu. It shot right into Bittu's body, melting in him.

In place of that card, formed a new card, but if one looked carefully, they will notice that this one was lackluster in comparison to the original, like it's merely a copy of the original but to an incredible extent.

*Buzz*

"....Snieirndlsns....?!"

In the absolute silence of the realm, a sudden buzzing sound originated from somewhere. The sound shocked Bittu when he heard it.

Presently, he was feeling very aggrieved and frustrated because of how these lights were, one after another, being shot at him and he couldn't do anything about them.

He immediately searched for the source of the sound since it was increasing by the second until he noticed that the sound was unexpectedly coming from his body, catching him off guard.

This discovery surprised Bittu. He was looking at his body, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from, when suddenly three beams of light shot from his body; red, purple and green.

They looked the same as the one Bittu had absorbed before, but if one looked closely, they will find out that they were different, even if just slightly.

A while later, they returned from God knows where and shot right into his body.

One thing to notice was that they all seemed to carry something peculiar that Bittu didn't understand. Ignoring Bittu's baffled look, the lights took that thing inside him.

In the next second, he saw as a green status appeared before his eyes once again.

Bittu was at a loss about what was happening when he saw the message. He didn't know what was going on.

Suddenly, his thinking came to an abrupt halt as his vision blurred. His vision, which held the boundless darkness of this strange realm, changed. He could only take a glimpse of the cards before him that disappear, before his eyes went blank.

In the next moment, he found himself out of that strange dark place where those colourful lights kept coming at him.

But Bittu was in no condition to look at his status. Right now, he was rolling on the stones while falling down, clutching his head because of the unbearable pain he was experiencing at the moment.

This was because his body collided with the stone right below him. This was the same stone that was about to hit Bittu's leg before time froze.

Upon his return this time, time resumed its flow, causing him to fall straight on the stone he had frozen above and sustained an injury.

Though one thing to notice was that, because of the time being frozen, the built up acceleration was neglected, hence Bittu did not turn into meat paste right away and only got injured.

His head though, which had hit the stone and frozen, suffered a powerful impact but, before being destroyed, the impact was stopped by the frozen time. Hence, Bittu survived but with his head a bloody mess.

*screaming*

Because of this reason, he was experiencing unbearable pain as he fell down the stones.

While he was falling down, several notifications were being presented before his eyes.

Bittu, who could not stop himself from the fall, could not read the notifications.

Multiple sharp stones hit Bittu in critical places, lethally wounding him with multiple cuts and bruises all over his body.

After approximately a minute, as Bittu was rolling, he arrived at a cliff. To his horror, unable to stop himself, he fell down the cliff....once again.

Bittu slammed heavily on the ground, and several of his body parts broke. He didn't turn into a meat paste because the cliff wasn't that high this time.

Bittu was trying to take deep breaths, as his air pipe was broken because of the fall just now. Unable to take sufficient breath for a minute. He died of suffocation while suffering excessive pain and blood loss.
