The Promise
Many years later...
In another place....
Far from city...
There is a small house in the woods. In that house a lady is cooking meal for his son, after some time she called him "ERICCC.... come son dinner is ready". It is around 8 in the night there. "Aunt Alvara... when will you fulfill your promise?". Yes, aunt, he is not her biological son and he is the kid from the start of the story, who got separated from his parents. "Aunt.. I was thinking about something..." Eric said.
Aunt replied, "Yes son, share it with me".
"Aunt I... was thinking that..." he is hesitant to share it with her.. thinking that whether he should say it or not... will she like it or not.
"Tell me son what you want to share..." she said while giving a motherly smile.
"Can... I call you Mom.." he said while looking down, in shyness and a bit of embarrassment thinking if she did not like it. As aunt never forced him to call her mother, she is a bit shocked after hearing that and a rush of happiness and shock passes through her body. In reply, she said yes he can call her mom by giving the sweetest smile ever, a motherly one. Because of this, now their relationship grew even more stronger. They are happy with each other.
A few more years passed in these happy moments when...
The boy starts noticing things and his age of rebel comes.
That particular boy is now in his teenage, the age of rebellion, the age in which he wants to explore more. and now he started to demand from his mom to take him outside of this forest, as he saw some kids with their parents enjoying and talking about school and stuff. He personally did not go and meet those kids but he used to listen to them from a little far. By that, he got this craving to meet the new outside world. he wants to EXPLORE. Also at this age, he got to know that he has the strongest wolf, as his partner, as his Alpha wolf. He named his wolf "ERI", and gave a part of his name to his wolf.
Why if u ask...
That's because his wolf is a part of him too.
Now after so many requests, Eric finally able to convince his mom to take him to the outside world and currently the situation is that, mom wants to talk to Eric's wolf, Eric does not think much of it and allows his wolf to come out. "Eri... alpha... plz stay undercover for few days" Mom said.
To which Alpha Eri replied in a dominant tone as he huffed in anger "Why, I am a rare Alpha, the most powerful of all, no one can dare to do anything in front of me".
Mom said "Yes alpha, you are the most powerful wolf, no doubt about that but the outside world is scared of alphas for now... There... there are no more alphas present there... all of them are dead... either caged or killed.. so please for your protection... for Eric, for your human, don't show yourself outside for some time.. but do... please do protect Eric if ever needed" mother requested in a sad tone, her eyes are teary while requesting this and she continues saying "I promise things will work out sooner or later and you can be as free as you want, but for now please help us like this".
The wolf did not replay and stayed silent for some time then he said in his dominating voice yet promising one "But the time will come when the original king has to take over his kingdom, and then no one will stop me".
Mother agreed with this and even said that she will help him in every possible step. Wolf is now convinced and takes that scent blocker from mother's hand, She gave this to him so that his scent will not come out in public, and people will not be able to identify him as an alpha.
By the end, wolf goes back inside and Eric came out, he is unaware of things for now but he is happy. They start packing and the next thing they knew was that they are on the way to the outside world...
