27 Chapter 26: 2nd Magic
"Mc pov"
Shea and Yue Chased Miledi for about an hour.
Currently, all three of them were on the ground fatigued.
Shea, "Huff… huff.. bastard I will never forgive you".
Yue, "huff… huff.. I am not done yet".
Miledi, "Come on, you two have been chasing me for about an hour now, I apologised already".
Seeing all three of them on the ground, I said, "That's enough wasting time".
I then use <Refresh > on Shea and Yue to help them recover their stamina.
"And you", noticing my sharp gaze Miledi flinched and straightened up.
Miledi "yes"
"Give us our reward from this trial", I said in a commanding tone.
"Roger that! I will put everything I have into this", she gave me a salute.
Miledi then lifted both of her hands. Then taking Miledi as a center a red magic circle appeared similar to Oscar's.
"Alright everyone, I will start the process now".
While the knowledge of gravity magic was getting imprinted on our minds, I was analysing the magic circle and its intricacy, like how it works, how they can give these magics to others, and more. For now, I found in the magic circle, there are many conditions in place. The magic will only be given if the conditions are met.

After the magic circle disappeared Hajime was the first to speak up.
"Just as I thought Gravity magic"
"Yeah, one of the fundamental forces of this world, now I really wonder what the other labyrinth holds".
[From the anime I only knew five, Creation magic, Gravity Magic, Spatial Magic, Regeneration Magic, and Spirit Magic. I should have read the novels. I don't know anything about the last 2 magic] Thinking about that I mentally sighed.

"Oh… from the four of you, the blondie and the blackhead had the highest affinity, while eyepatch had the lower end of average, and lastly bun-bun here could only change her own weight at best.
"Eh… is my affinity that bad", Shea wined.
"Next, catch", saying that Miledi threw a ring at me.
"This is the proof of clearing the trial. Take good care of it."
"I think this is where we should say goodbye then", Miledi then waited for them to leave. But to her confusion, no one moved.

After that sudden silence, Hajime spoke up, "Hey is that all?"
"Eh?... ", Miledi utter confusingly.
Hajime then grabbed Miledi's head in his vice grip and said irritably, "That was it, the reward for clearing this annoying labyrinth. On the Orcus labyrinth, we got a bunch of stuff you know? Now hand over the materials you have".
Miledi screamed, "EEEEEKK!... Hey don't grab my head so hard it will break".
Hajime ignored her and started to ask, "How are you able to control Golams from afar? How does it work? Tell me before I accidentally crush your head".
Hajime then asks Miledi to hand over all the useful materials and artefacts with an evil smile on his face.
"He is having fun isn't he", I said.
Hearing me, Shea smiled Wryly.
Yue hummed, "nn",
While Miledi was getting extorted by Hajime.

Seeing all the materials like 'Conduit' ore (this is the one which all the golems were made of), and the strongest ore in this world 'Azantium' halfway I also joined Hajime.
"Now, what kind of weapon should I make", Hajime spoke out.
"How about a few flying swords that you can control with your mind", I said with sparkling eyes.
"Hmm… good idea but swords are your thing. If it was a gun then…", Thinking that Hajime's eyes also started to sparkle like mine.
"You two sound awfully happy while discussing that… are you done here", Miledi asked.
"Yeah, I suppose", Hajime said.
Suddenly, I felt my body becoming heavier, the moment I reacted to the changes, my body weight increased further till I was completely immobilised, pressing me on the ground.
"I, I can't move", [this feeling, I remember], I looked at Miledi who was standing nonchalantly.
Then I looked at others their situation also wasn't any different. They also can't move.
"Okie-dokie~ now get the hell out of my place" Miledi said as she pulled a rope that suddenly appeared beside her.
As she pulled the rope a 3-meter hole appeared right below me and I fell. While I was falling, I saw water droplets. So, I looked back and there I saw a large amount of water following along.
Seeing the condition, I was in made me angry, "Bastard! I swear, I will make you pay", I roared before I got submerged underwater.

After I fell into the water the extra weight on my body was gone and I stopped sinking further. I then started to follow the flow of the water.
While I was swimming, I noticed a few fish, I thought this tunnel should be connected to a river up ahead, and just as I thought the tunnel had led me to a river.
Seeing the light coming from the surface I came afloat and started to take deep breaths, "huff… huff…".
"I don't know how many times I said this but my training with Dad is coming in handy in this world".
I then looked around to find others but there were none. So, I used my <Mana Sense> to sense Hajime and other locations [they should not be too far from me].

"Found them".
Hajime floated up a few meters beside me. His breath was erratic from holding it too long.
Then, Shea and Yue also came afloat ahead of us.
It was a relief seeing them all right.
Suddenly Yue called out to us, "Hajime… Rihito… She is not breathing".
I instantly activated <Floating Magic> on myself and scooped up Shea to the nearest ground.
Hajime and Yue also hurriedly came beside me. I was pressing down on Shea's chest. But to my distress, it wasn't working.
[There is no other way… CPR it is], I thought
I straightened Shea's head and performed CPR by administering two pumps at a time, then returned to press on her chest again, and I continued the cycle.
Yue saw me kissing Shea at brief intervals, and she confusingly asked, "What is he doing?".
To her inquiry, Hajime answered, "He is giving her CPR".
Hearing the unfamiliar word Yue asked, "What is CPR?".
Hearing that question Hajime was surprised that Yue didn't know about CPR, and then he remembered this is a different world, this world uses magic to heal people, unlike his previous world.
Just when he was about to explain they heard Shea's coughing.
"Cough… cough…"
Seeing her awake I was relieved. I then asked in a soft voice, You okay there".
Before I could say anything more, Shea grabbed my head and locked my lips with hers.
"Mmmnh! Slurp… nngh! Smoooch!, oii… Sto… is…"
At this moment Shea was in a state of bliss and her pupil had transformed into the shape of a heart. Shea only had one thought prevalent in her mind, kissing Rihito, every other thought was thrown out of the window. Shea wanted the same relationship that Hajime and Yue were having. So, when she sensed Rihito kissing her over and over, she took the chance and attacked back.
"Oii stup… smooch!"
Seeing that talking wasn't working I grabbed Shea's head in a vice grip and threw her into the river to cool her down.
While all this was happening Hajime and Yue just watched with a dull look. I looked at them and asked, "Why didn't you help me".
To my response, they shrugged and said, "She likes you so you deal with it. Don't involve us in your love life".
After listening to their response, I sighed. Well, I have to deal with it soon, but not now.
After I use <Cleanse > to clean ourselves then we all travel back to the city.

Next day morning…
After eating breakfast, we head to the Adventurers Guild for more information on the Guryuuen volcano.
Entering the Adventurers guild we heard a somewhat familiar voice.
"Oh my, you guys are back and here I thought you guys left already", the reception lady said to us.
"So how can I help you", she finished speaking.
"We want information about the Guryuuen volcano. I was hoping you could help us with that", I requested.
"Sure, give me a second", saying the lady took out a map and told us details about the area, climate, and its monsters.
Now that I think about it you guys registered 3 days ago. So, your guy's rank should be blue.
Hajime heard about a rank and asked in curiosity, "What do you mean by rank? Can you explain about that".
She nodded and explained, "In the adventurers' guild, a ranking system is established and indicated by colour which are:"
BLUE < RED < YELLOW < PURPLE < GREEN < WHITE < BLACK < SILVER < GOLD
"Normally I won't advise anyone under purple rank to go anywhere near Guryuuen volcano. But I can see you guys aren't a normal adventurer party. So, for you guys, I would advise you to go to 'Fuhren' first where you can get proper high-quality gear for your journey. It might be a D tour for you guys but I can promise it will be worth it. And now that I remember there should be a quest present to escort a cart there. It should be perfect for you guys", the reception lady advised.
After listening to her I look back at everyone for their opinion.
Hajime, "I don't see any problem".
Yue, "We aren't in any hurry so it will be fine".
Shea, "It could be a good chance to exchange some information".
"Alright then it is decided we will take the quest", I went towards the quest board took the paper where the details were written and handed it to the reception lady. She took the parchment and registered it in our name.
"I think this is goodbye then", I said to the reception lady.
"Wait before you go take this with you", the reception lady handed us a letter.
"I see potential in you all, so keep it with you".
"What is this", I asked curiously.
"It's a letter. If you get into any trouble in any other guild then show it to them. But don't open it till then", saying that she gave us a sunny smile.

After that, we headed to the pointed location where the cart should be present. It was not too hard to find it, there were few adventurers beside the cart.
After getting close enough, a man noticed us and introduced himself, "Hello my name is More Nos. I am the leader of this trading group. I thank you for accepting my escort request".
"No need to thank us we were heading to Fuhren anyway, so this job is a bonus for us", I looked at the merchant More, whose eyes kept darting towards Shea.
"I am sorry to skip all the niceties. But I have a question for you. The rabbit girl… have you ever thought of selling her", more asked me with a glint that told me that he found a rare product.
I looked at Shea who stood beside me grabbing my coat and trying to hide in discomfort.
I said it to More straight, "Denied"
More looks confused, he was rejected even before hearing his proposition about the money.
But the blatant rejection didn't stop More, He was a merchant who had experienced many deals that were rejected but accepted after money was increased. So, he decides to use more money to buy the girl.
"How about 80 gold coins for the rabbit girl? It should be appropriate", the merchant looked at me with a sly smirk.
Hearing the amount the other adventurer looked gobsmacked, 80 gold was a large amount. It was large enough for any of them to retire and settle down. Their disinterest instantly turned to greed. Their greedy eyes look at Shea like a piece of meat. Some even put their hand on their weapon, probably thinking about kidnapping Shea.
I observed all this with my poker face not saying anything looking at the merchant.
"..."
"..."
More was getting nervous, [What's it with this guy, he keeps looking at me saying nothing. Is he waiting for me to increase the price, that should be it].
More opened his mouth to speak again. Then suddenly he felt his body freeze and start to shake. His instinct was telling him to run or he will die.
It was not just him all the adventurers near the cart weren't any different. The other adventurers were shaking as well, some of them understood I was releasing killing intent. Seeing such potent killing intent most of the adventurers immediately scrapped the idea of kidnapping the rabbit girl.
"..."
More was scared of what was happening to him. He then locked eyes with the adventurer, from whom he wanted to buy the rabbit girl. His crimson eyes were looking at himself like some insignificant bug, that he could crush at any time. It was not just him, the other two who were accompanying them were the same as well.
More then finally understood, that he had stepped on a dragon's tail. His next word would decide whether his head would remain attached to his head or not, understanding his situation. He then immediately decided to apologise to the young man and the rabbit girl, "I am sorry if I caused you distress, as compensation I will give you 80 gold after we have reached Fuhren". Saying that he bowed his head waiting for the response.
At this moment More was sweating buckets he knew what happens to those who offend someone they shouldn't have, and in his current situation was the same, so he had to appease them or who knows he might not ever see the next day.
Just thinking about that More's cursed himself many times for being too greedy.
"..."
I looked at More who bowed his head in apology. Seeing him apologizing my anger somewhat subsided. [it's a pity if he talked more, I would have…] I mentally shake my head.
"..."
After making him wait for a few seconds I replied, "I hope something like this never happens again", saying that I passed him and went towards a nearby empty cart which I guess was for the adventurers who would escort him.
After that whole debacle, we were given a cart only for us to travel to Fuhren separate from other adventurers. So, we were pretty comfortable except for me that is.
Shea after that incident stuck to me like a spoiled baby. "Shea give me some space", I asked in slide discomfort.
"No~ I like it here", Shea said leaning on my shoulder with a contained smile.
Not knowing what to do in my current situation I sighed and waited until we reached Fuhren.

Author's note:
While writing this novel I get many ideas to increase Mc's power. But then I remember Mc haven't even mastered half of his skills yet. So I have to wait. While writing this chapter, I thought.
1) What's the difference between a Divine human and a True hero? What I know is both are spiritual beings and strong enough to hold ultimate skill. So which one is stronger? It's a tensura question.
2) If MC evolve into a high-human from new gate series. Will he be weak or stronger than a fully evolved Saint from tensura?
