Chapter 7

Looking at my reflection in the huge mirror in front of me, I gave a satisfied nod. I was trying on the new outfits the tailor prepared. I asked him to simplify my clothing to more casual attire. Like a designed waistcoat over a full sleeve shirt and simple trousers. I don't like those layered clothing. Feels uncomfortable.

"Well, I guess I will go with this. What do you think?" I turned around and asked Joseph, who was standing beside me.

"Yes, Young lord. This suits you perfectly," replied Joseph.

"Hmm. Alright."

Changing the topic I asked him, "So did you get the thing which I asked for?"

Turning around Joseph beckoned a servant to hand over a rolled sheet of paper to me. I took it from his hand and walked over to the nearby table.

I unrolled it and placed it on top of the table. This was the map of Sparta territory. While it's said that our barony controls the entire Sparta territory, it is far from the truth. The Sparta territory is a massive region. Our barony consists of only 1/8th of the entire area. As for why we don't control the entire region? Simple, the entire leftover area is ice covered. Imagine it as the 'earth's Greenland region. And the technology of this world is not on the level that a civilization can sustain there.

Even our barony is a duplicate of the 'Siberian' region. That was also one of the reasons why the country doesn't care about us at all.

The map in front of me only shows up to our barony borders. The rest of the places are considered unclassified.

'Hmm…. This won't help.' I pondered in my mind. 'Well, at least this shows the entrance to that place.'

I rolled the map back and looked at Joseph,

"Joseph please prepare my outing clothes."

"Hmm? Are you going outside today?"

"Yes."

As there is no snowstorm today, I reckoned it would be the best day to go 'there'.

"Alright. then I shall go and inform the guards to accompany you."

"No. There's no need for that. I would like to go alone today."

"Are you sure, Young lord? I think it would be best for them to accompany you. Who knows what trouble might come up?"

"It's alright. There will be no trouble. Not like I am going to do something dangerous. * hahaha" I laughed on the outside.

While on the inside, my thoughts were completely different. 'Like hell, I can take somebody with me. I am never going to show anyone that place. Heh~'

After explaining for some time that it will be fine, Joseph reluctantly agreed.

'Hmm~ Now let's see if I can get my hands over 'that' thing.'
