11 Chapter 11

I am standing here on the bank of the lake. The scenario in front of me is undoubtedly the most mesmerizing thing I have ever seen.

Standing there looking at the island in front of me I thought, "I guess this is the place. But this feels much grander than what I heard."

"I don't recall the gym trainer saying anything about this place being so gorgeous."

"He just said there was a hidden cave underground, and inside that cave was that mystical flower. There was no mention of an extra space where aurora can be seen, a lake, or shining plants whatsoever."

No matter what people say, that gym trainer of mine will never leave any information if it's about otome games. So I can be assured that he told me everything he knew about this game.

But the main question is if the description of this place doesn't match what he told me, then what is this place?

Maybe it's

"....a different cave altogether?" I muttered.

Pondering myself, I released a sigh.

"Haaaa~ Things are getting far more complicated now."

After the moment of awe, my thirst and tiredness returned. Though somehow being in this place I feel far more energetic than before. But the tiredness was still there.

"Now, what should I do?..." I thought with a complicated expression on my face.

"If this is not that cave, then all the struggle I did was for nothing. The only reason I came here was to get my hands on that flower. And if I can't get that.....haaa~ " I didn't finish the last sentence but instead released a sigh.

I looked at the island again. Many thoughts coming to my mind. And among them, one was, 'Why not just go along with this and see what happens? Not like I know any way to get out of this situation.'

Though I had no idea how to find the way back, for some reason, I was not that nervous. Maybe it's because I have gone through even worse situations…..?

Dismissing my thoughts which were going out of hand, I exclaimed, "Alright! Let's see what happens."

Saying so I resolved myself. I walked over to the lake.

"Do I have to swim over there in this damn cold weather?" "Damn, this is going to be the craziest thing I have ever done." hehe* I chuckled warily.

'Should I take over my clothes?' I looked around to find anyone peeping. (As ridiculous as it sounded.)

"No. I don't want to. As for getting my clothes wet? I don't care anymore. I am already in a difficult situation.' I thought while sulking. ( a/n. Why the heck are you acting like a brain-dead fool dude? Seriously? This is my MC? I will not be writing your story anymore if you act like that dude. )

Paying no heed to the nonsense that the stupid author was babbling, I jumped into the lake.

Then I felt something that greatly surprised me.

"What the heck!? I am floating without any support?" It seems I am floating on my own even without trying.

"WA-WAIT!! WH-WHAT!!?" Then I noticed something that was even more astounding.

My clothes were dry.

I mean quite literally, they didn't get soaked with water as I was expecting. Instead, they were as dry as ever.

And that was not the end of it.

"HOLY COW!! WHAT IN THE FREEZING HELL IS HAPPENING!!?" I shouted with all my energy. Yes, suddenly I felt a surge of energy in my body.

All the tiredness in my body disappeared. The pain I was feeling in my left shoulder was gone like it was never there. I could freely move my arm, it was completely healed. And I was feeling the most energetic I ever felt.

*Haha…hahaha….ahahahahahah!!!* I laughed, this was crazy. This thing acted like the highest-grade healing potion. And there was no mention of this place in the game.

I grew excited, extremely excited.

"If….If somehow…" After some time my excitement died down.

"Haaaaa~ it's not possible" I sighed again.

"Well let's focus on the thing at hand first." Saying so I started swimming. Normally it would be highly difficult to reach the island while swimming without getting tired. But right now I was brimming with energy. Coupled with the fact that I could float without any support, it became much easier.

I reached the island in a few minutes. Upon having a closer look, this island feels even more surreal. One would think they have entered a dream realm.

"OKAY!! Let's see what this has got for me!" I exclaimed.
