4 Chapter 3: Orientation (Part 1)

Federal Institute. An academy with class of its own. The academy has so big of an area that the buildings weren't even visible from the gates. Just by standing in front of the humongous gates one can get overwhelmed by its majestic appearance.

|Either you stand on the top, or you die try climbing|

These words display the one of the biggest rule of the academy. The academy doesn't tolerate mediocrity. The students are provided with everything, from smallest necessity to most luxurious things. But again, everything depends on how high you stand.

The Human Combat Force, a worldwide military organization under UHF was responsible for the safety of the academy. They had various units and the one responsible for safeguarding academy was the "Civilian Safety Unit". This unit held immense power as it was directly involved with the common people.

The guard who was verifying Zen's and Anna's identity, arched is brows. It had been years since he welcomed a commoner as the top student. After verification, he gave them a thumbs up and let them enter.

"Holy fuck brother! Am I still dreaming?"

"Language!! And no! You are not dreaming. I can't believe a place like this exists on the face of the Earth."

"So we got a country bumpkin this year?" A girl with small stature said with a chuckle.

"Hahaha.... they think this is something big, let these fuckers go inside, they will understand they are nothing but ants who do not deserve to be here." A boy standing adjacent to the girl deliberately shouted with a condescending tone.

Zen looked at the boy indifferently like he was looking at a nobody and sighed.

"Hahh... some people always have stick up their asses. Don't you have something better to do apart from ogling who is entering the academy? Damn these perverts are everywhere!"

"..."

Silence. Nobody thought a plain looking commoner would reply so fiercely.

""Hahahaha"" Everyone laughed at the boy.

"You... You...." He couldn't say anything more.

"What you? Don't tell me, I hit the nail? Fuck that's disgusting."

Now everyone laughed everyone laughed even louder. Even the girl beside him couldn't control her laughter.

"Hahaha" A loud laughter echoed all over the place. Zen looked to the direction and saw a man with big build landing with boom.

"Well said little boy. And you are right. He is just a nobody. Hey pig! Didn't I tell you to go welcome the students properly? Can't you even do this properly? Fuck you are useless. You are not allowed in my class from now and you are demoted to a fourth grade student." The big guy said with an authoritative tone.

Listening to this his mind went numb. He kneeled with his head down and screamed

"No! Mr. Mohammad, I'm sorry. I will not repeat this. I am really sorry. I will personally apologize to the newbies. Hey newbies, I am sorry. I was just joking. See Mr. Mohammad. Please don't demote me. I beg you."

While his head down, he looked at Zen and Anna with half expectant and half threatening face.

"Brother, let's get a better bug repellant. The flies around here have extraordinarily thick face."

After listening this, the boy kneeling on the ground almost fainted.

"I will not repeat myself pig. If you don't leave your dorm within an hour, I will personally issue your expulsion notice."

The boy had nothing left. Although Zen didn't understand what fourth grade student meant, but at least got an idea that it was not a good place to be. After all this drama, the crowd dispersed after feeling a disturbance in the force coming from Mr. Mohammad.

"Hey kid! I am Hamid Mohammad. A senior executive in the disciplinary committee. Good job for not getting intimidated. If you would have cowered in fear, I would have been disappointed."

Zen was surprised after listening this. Although the big guy said it so casually, a senior executive in any department held immense power even more so when the said person held the post in disciplinary committee.

"Hello Mr. Mohammad. I am Zen Ashford and this is my sister, Anna Ashford. We are new students here in the academy."

"A courteous one huh. I like you boy, go ahead down that road and you will reach your destination. If you get lost anywhere, just look for the sign for the auditorium and you will reach there."

"Thank you! We will take our leave then." Zen and Anna started walking after saying this.

"... Oh by the way! You should hide your aura better if want to hide properly. Your facade of entering the scene like a hero from the sky needs improvement." Zen said without turning back and then left the area.

Mohammad was bewildered. What the fuck? He was hiding in the trees to look out for any potential fights that might break out. He never imagined a baby boy would be able to find him.

"This year will really be interesting. Don't let me down boy." He said mysteriously and immediately vanished from the spot.

Without knowing anything about what Mohammad was thinking, Zen and Anna reached the auditorium. On the way, most of the students gave them stares. Some of them were condescending, some of them were filled with rage while some of them were curious. But Zen and Anna ignored them all entered the auditorium.

On the front, there was a enormous stage with all kinds of lightings. The whole auditorium was bustling with noise. Zen and Anna found a seat in the middle and sat. They were surprised with the level of preparation. There were students running around all over the place. Suddenly a boy and a girl came and the girl said with a cordial tone.

"Hello! We are also first year students. Would you mind if we sit with you?"

"Of course! Please have a seat. I am Anna and this is my brother Zen."

"Shit! The first people we talked to turned out to be the first place in Engineering and Business."

"Shut up James. Ahem. Hello! I am Tanya Craig and this is James Rogers. Nice to meet you."

It was to be noted that there was no one other than Tanya and James who sat on the same row as Zen and Anna.

As soon as they sat on their chairs, the light focused on the stage and a beautiful girl with red hairs started speaking.

"Good morning everyone. It is an a pleasure for me and the academy to welcome the fresh batch of the most talented students in the world. I will now hand over the stage to our vice-director, Miss Shreya Patel"

Zen had thousands of thoughts in his mind. But the most prominent was, I made it here. The academy was now officially started.
