Training

As Veliona beats him, Martin begins to stand up again as he tries to stand against the more powerful Veliona since she has evolved after fighting against Oberon.

"( Damn she is powerful .... )" Martin says as he looks at Veliona's Vamp mode while the female Deviant herself just calmly approaches him grabbing his head telling him to go for another round as she tries to teach him how to do the [Ray Magic].

" [Ray Magic] ... " Martin asks her while Veliona tells him that the [Ray Magic] is a part of a [Visual Magic] a sub-magic from [Body Magic] that heavily depends on the usage of the eye as she shows him how does it do by destroying the rock with her eye ray.

" Woooahhhh .... Laser Eye !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! " Martin says to her as he commented on that ability telling her that it's a Laser Eye while Veliona corrects him by saying that is a Ray Magic a blast of the magic-using eye as a pointer.

" NO no no .... if you see lasers, coming out from the eye like that and have a red beam in that particular then you must call it laser eye, not the other way around !!!!" he tells her while Veliona can only slap her face as she agrees with Martin about the naming of the ability.

" Fine fine you can call it a Laser Eye or whatever name you want to call it for .. " she tells him.

"( But for me it is still Ray Magic ... )" she says in her mind while Martin constantly calls it Laser eye many times as it makes Veliona had to bump him in his head in order for him to shut up.

" Will you shut the hell up !!!!!!!??? " she shouts at him in anger.

" Laser eyes, laser eyes, laser eyes ..... can you please call it using my way to call this magic !!!!!!??? " Veliona asks him as she tells him that this is called [Ray Magic] and she wants Martin to say it since she doesn't want Martin to call it with that dumb naming called [Laser Eyes] again.

" Okay ... fine ..... [Ray Magic] .... " Martin says as he tries to do so by flowing the Mana into his eyes as he tries to release its energy by pointing it into the rock target as he charges and release it but sadly.

Out of nowhere, there's a fly that disturbs him, making him lose his focus as he misses the target while the ray then shoots into a random direction destroying a nearby cliff as he also kills a nearby bird along with its nest and eggs.

" Woopsie ....!!!! " Martin says while Veliona beside him says.

" Imbecile ..... " she says as she commented in her mind that Martin is somehow more Deviant than her even though he didn't mean his very actions.

"( I guess blood really tells the truth sometimes .... )" Veliona says as he looked at the panicked Martin as he tries again the [Ray Magic].

" [Ray Magic] ....!!!!! " he says as he unleashes his ray in order to shoot the Rock Target which he has done it successfully by creating a laser hole in that target while continuing to use the Ray magic like using a special move which makes Veliona angrier as she can't take it anymore on how Martin disrespects one of her arsenal magic.

" Why ... did ... you ... do .....that ...? " Martin asks Veliona as she then decides to train him seriously as she tells him that now she won't let Martin says another joke again since she wants him to take this seriously.

" Okay .. okay ... but if I succeed mastering this, do I get my reward ... I mean ..? " Martin says as he tries to use his charm to Veliona which she replies with a smile as she summons tusks from her hand as he smiles menacingly while she gives Martin his 'reward' for being so rebellious.

" Wa .. wait oh no no no no no!!!!! " Martin shouts while Veliona 'rewards' him ....

With Pain .....

( After a few minutes.)

Due to his fear of being tortured again, Martin begins to train his [Ray Magic] seriously as he also trains his [Healing] and [Flow] in order for those magic abilities to support him further in battles.

While Martin does his training, Veliona looks at him as she analyzes Martin's growth by looking at his body as she sees the Mana from Martin's body is growing stronger.

"( The Mana that exist in his body .... )"

"( From the looks of it, it seems that this Mana is his original Mana power .. )" Veliona says as she sees the Mana using her special eyes.

"( But still, even though his Mana is powerful ... )" she says as she looks at the Metagenes inside Martin's body.

"( These things called the 'Metagenes' is that is troublesome ... )" she says as she sees the Metagenes blocking the flow of Mana into Martin's certain body parts which Veliona sees as a hindrance as she thinks that Mana should be spread around the user's body in order for the user to use its full potential.

"( But still, ... even though it is such a hindrance ... )"

"( These Metagenes that those bird-brains (Diviners) give to the people in his world are also very special and shouldn't be looked down upon,)" she says as she wonders how does this Metagene really work as she then decided to ask Martin about the Metagenes in his body in order for her to figure out something that is stuck in her crowded head.

( After training.)

" The Metagenes ... why did you want to know that? " Martin asks her as Veliona states that there is something that she wants to make sure since, from her observation, she determines that the Metagene inside him are actually double-edged blades for him to increase his Magic power.

" I just want to know everything about it, since those genetic cells are such a hindrance on your Mana growth ... " she tells him as she explains that the very potent power that Martin has right now is the very thing that hinders him for more growth.

" Let me tell you something, Martin ... "

" The Metagene cells in your body, the very thing that gives you that extreme regenerative power ... "

" Is the very thing that will directly weaken you, in the future !!!! " she says to Martin.
