Pulling in front of the mansion, Vikram dashed inside, cutting through surprised maids. They were not expecting him home this soon. His eyes wander all around, eager to have her single glance. A small smile playing on his lips, thinking about the possibilities of how will she react when he opens his heart for her. Will she reject him? Of course, she will. He acted like... no. He was an asshole yesterday. But Vikram will accept her rejection wholeheartedly, endure all her anger, listen to all her tantrums, and in the end, he will make it up to her. He will love her. A sudden sense of giddiness crossed Vikram’s heart. Loving her has always been a dream. An impossible quest. He fought many nights, forcing himself to walk away, to forget her, to not feel, but here he was, ready to do anything for her.

Love is a strange thing. Beautiful but crippling. Makes a person do things he always opposed.
