[Rebecca's POV]
It's been six months since I declared my condition to protect onii-chan.
I have been protecting him ever since and I will always keep an eye on him wherever he goes. From inside the house to the outside of the house, in the bedroom or at the garden, and heck, even whenever he goes to the toilet, I will always hangout at the hallway near the toilet door.
He reprimanded me to go away whenever I followed him and told me to leave him alone. But I couldn't do that, I must make sure that he will not get hurt again.
Of course, the sparring match is an exception. I have always kept an eye on him whenever he and father train with swords. They were crept out whenever stare at them from a safe distance while doing my own thing.
Whenever It's my turn to spar with him, I took the liberty to show what I got and beat him with the wooden sword. Naturally, I heal him up after the beating him up and pointed out his weak points and strong points in the match we did.
For his weak point, he was slow and sloppy, his foot works needed some work, his sword swings were predictable and he relies too much on magic.
The last part wasn't just his weakness though, it is also his strength. He uses magic at his advantage and surprised me in some occasion. He uses wind magic to propel himself and dodge my swings, melded magic to create steam in order to decrease my vision and he earth magic to create a quagmire to immobilize my foot.
When I told him about this, he had mixed feelings of frustration and accomplishment.
Moving on, we also had our outside activities as well.
Me and Rudeus always met up with Sylphy by the hill with the single tree every day. At there, we learn new magic and train swordsmanship.
There are also the occasional times where Somar and his two lackeys will come and ruin our bonding time.
I always do my usual intimidation tactics to scare them of. Like that one time I lifted a boulder twice my size in front of them. They peed on their shorts due to how horrified they are seeing me lifting huge rock with my bare hands.
Obviously, I used my battle aura to augment my arms and legs with enough strength and power to lift the heavy rock. During the past 6 months, my daily training increases my battle aura capabilities even higher. Now I have the strength of saint rank swordsman or even higher, but I still don't have qualification to be called as one. Maybe I should ask father some other time on how to do that.
Anyway, back to the topic. Where was I again? Ah right, the bullies. Most of the time rock lifting works like 90% of a time.
But on some occasion, they toughen up and I just lift a bigger rock to increase my chances of scaring them.
However, lately they grew tired of the rock lifting and they weren't scared of that tactic anymore. Luckily, brother came with the save and showed them his magic to intimidate them. Because of that, my respect for onii-chan grew bigger.

Me and my brother are currently waiting for Sylphy on top of the hill.
We just had arrived and we wait there so we can begin with the magic lesson.
Currently I know advanced rank fire and water magic, and intermediate wind and earth magic.
Learning the incantation for the first time is really difficult. The lines were long and hard to pronounce.
But when I managed to finally cast the magic, I then used voiceless incantation to automatically cast this magic for easier use.
Also, my mana reservoir is somewhat average now, I occasionally practice increasing my magic to increase it little by little.
Then I heard footsteps and I look at the direction of the sound to see Sylphy running up the hill.
"I'm sorry you two. Am I late?" she came in front of us while catching her breathe
"No, we have just arrived as well, Sylph" Rudeus said in reassurance and Sylphy sighed in relief.
After that, we started our usual magic lessons with Rudeus.
Several minutes later,
While we were listening to Rudeus's lectures, I heard someone coming up the hill. It is Rawls-san and he is rushing towards us.
"Rebecca-chan, thank goodness I found you. We need your help" He walks towards me and requested my assistance.
I became attentive when I heard him needing my help and asked him "What happened, Rawls-san? Did something bad happened out there?"
"Monsters. There's a lot of them appeared in the forest. Your father is there too, he needs your help" I nodded immediately and I took the [Night Sky Sword] from the under the tree. I then strapped on the scabbard of the sword at my back.
"Onii-chan, do you want to come help me?" I looked at my brother who is reading the magic guide book on his hands.
"Umm, no. I guess I will pass this time. I think you got this, Rebecca" he says as he waves his hand in denial.
I furrow my brows and frowned but decided not to voice out any complaints. Then I looked at Sylphy. I walked towards her and grabbed her by the shoulders. She was startled when I suddenly do that and she looks at me.
"Sylphy, I have a huge favor to ask you" I said in a serious tone, which made her sweats profusely.
"W-what is it, R-Rebecca-san?" She stutters as she asked.
"Since onii-chan is not coming, I want you to keep an eye on him, okay?"
She nodded in understanding.
"Make sure that he is far from harm's reach no matter the cost"
She nodded a bit faster while sweat trickles from her forehead.
"But if I find out that he got hurt even a little, I will be going to punish you. Do you understand?"
Tears form on her eyes as she nodded lavishly.
"Rebecca, I think that is too much. I think you're scaring Sylph" Rudeus voiced out his concerns
"No, onii-chan. Since you're not coming, I am asking Sylphy to keep an eye on you, so, don't hurt yourself" I rebuked him with a smile but there was no happiness written in it.
He shuddered when I beam a smile at him and nodded in understanding to my words.
I then left the two at the hill and went to the forest with Rawls-san.

[Third POV]
In the forest near the Buena Village, a report about a group of monsters heading towards the village's proximity.
Currently, Paul and his men are fending off the monsters. The group of monsters are consisting of three [Terminate Boars], nine [Assault Dogs], and six [Lesser Treants].
"Shet! They're too many! We need to fall back and call for reinforcements, Paul" One of Paul's allies are requesting retreat due to the number of monsters.
"Just hold on a little more! Reinforcements are on the way!" Paul shouts as he slashes on of the assault dogs.
"Really? Where are they?" Another ally asks as he tried to fend off against the one of the treant's attacks.
"Ah, I send Rawls to fetch Rebecca to help us fight these monsters" Paul explains as he slashed another assault dog.
"What? Do you mean your daughter? How is a little girl going to help us fight these monsters?" a newbie ally questions Paul's decision to send a child to a dangerous battle.
"Hehe, don't underestimate that girl. She is more capable than you thi- Ah, here she comes." he says as he looks up in the sky. The newbie ally looks up as well and saw a small girl falling from the sky while plunging a sword downwards. She fell with an alarming speed and is about to hit a terminate boar.
*THUUUUUUUD*

The boar squealed in agony as the sword was embedded to its thick skull.
"HAARRGHHH!!" Then the girl tried to pull the sword in a certain direction and slashed the skull in half. The terminate boar fell to the ground after its head taken off.
The girl lands to the ground safely and then stood up while graciously flips her twin tail hair and rest her sword at her shoulder.
"Cheers love, the calvary's here!!" The girl boisterously said with a bright smile.
""!!"" All of the people in the area look at the spectacle in awe except for Paul looks at the girl proudly.
"Heh, show off" Paul mutters as smugly smiles at his daughter who just arrived.
Rebecca came in time to save the day and will assist the people
But then the rest of the monsters noticed the commotion and charged towards Rebecca.
*RAWR* *HOWL* *Garbled noises*
'HEY! LOOK OUT!" One of the allies warns Rebecca to watch out for the incoming monsters.
Rebecca just snorted and raised her sword in the air.

Then a huge amount of bloodlust flooded the whole forest. Paul and the others felt the immense bloodlust and was petrified. Not only them, the monster who were charging at Rebecca also stopped moving.
Then strange light came out of the monsters' body and they all gathered to the blade of the sword. Then the sword glows brightly purple and Rebecca absorbs the energy gathered.
After absorbing the energy, she assumes an attacking stance and charges at the monsters.
The monster having their energy stolen attacks her clumsily and others tried to rush at her unsteadily.
"Alright! Come on, men. Let's help my daughter on finishing the monsters!" Paul ordered his men to assist Rebecca.
""YES"" all of them complies and charged ahead to fight the monster.
Then someone else came to him. It was Rawls who was panting while running.
"Oh, Rawls. Where had you been? The fight was already about to end" Pawl looks at the exhausted Rawls.
"Damn, Paul. Your daughter is so damn fast. She outruns me and I couldn't catch up to her" Rawls complains as he tried to catch his breath.
"Haha! That's my daughter for you, Rawls. That little monster over there is the product of my effort in teaching her swordsmanship in a very young age, HAHAHA!" Paul proudly boasts and laughs.
Rawls just rolled his eyes and takes off the bow that is strapped on his back. "Come on, Paul. Let's help them too" he says he readies an arrow to fire.
Paul nodded and readies his sword as well "Yeah, let's go. I can't afford Rebecca to take all of the credit in all of these monsters"
Both of them rush forward and assist with the battle.
Meanwhile, Rebecca and the other swordsmen struggles to slay the monsters as more of them suddenly appears from the trees.
The amount of assault dogs and lesser treants increases and another terminate boar joins the battle.
Rebecca busies herself on slashing the monsters with [Sword God Style] while defending herself with [Water God Style] and agilely traverses the forest with [North God Style].
The swordsmen had a hard time to keep up with Rebecca's quick and nimble attacks.
*Whoosh* *Whoosh* *Whoosh*
*RAAAWGH* *Awwhhooo* *Grumbling noises*
One by one, the monsters were slain by Rebecca and others.
Paul and Rawls also caught up and joins the slaughter to kill all the monsters in the area.
The battle took an hour or two to finish and all the monsters were exterminated.
"Phew~ That was fun, wasn't it, dad?" Rebecca says as she wipes the sweat from herforehead.
"Hehe. You went overboard with the monsters again, Rebecca. You didn't save more for us to kill, huh" Paul says as he pouts at Rebecca.
"Fufufu, silly dad. You have just kept up with me than just flaunting your sword every time you kill a monster while acting arrogant. Time is money, so you better not waste it for trivial things" Rebecca roasts Paul's antics making him quite shock.
"Guh" *Critical DMG*
"Pfft~ Hahahahaha" Rebecca lightheartedly laughs at her father's shocked expression.
All of them cleaned up the mess in the forest and collect all of the salvageable materials and Rebecca burns the rest on a clearing.
The swordsmen commended Rebecca's swordsmanship and she accepts their praise proudly. They insisted that she should keep the salvage monster parts, but she declines and told them to keep it for themselves. They thanked her for the generosity she showed and they all exited the forest.
The team then dispersed and both Paul and Rebecca went home to their house.

[Rebecca's POV]
When we arrived the house, I saw that the clouds are getting dark on the distance.
'It's about to rain soon. I wonder what were those two are doing? Did those two already went home?' I thought to myself as we went inside the house.
"We're home" I voiced out that we are here to those are inside the house.
"Ah, welcome home, sweetie. How is your day?" mother welcomed us from the kitchen
"It went great" I beam a smile at her and she nods. Then asked her something "Say, mom, have you seen onii-chan? I left him with Sylphy this morning."
She ponders a bit and replied. "No, sweetie. We haven't seen them entering the house. They might be still at the place you three always hangout with" I nodded in understanding and went upstairs to take a quick bath and change my clothes.
After taking a brisk bath and a change of clothing, I went down stairs.
Suddenly the rain pours and the outside is raining cats and dogs.
'Damn, that's a strong rain. I hope those two are okay' I worried as I look out of the window.
*creak*
Then the front door abruptly opens and I saw both Rudeus and Sylphy are soaking wet from the rain.
"Geez, do you guys really didn't saw the rain coming? What were you two are doing, anyway?" I reprimand them and asked them what were they doing earlier.
"Ah, you see, we got caught up with the magic lessons and Sylph run towards the wheatfield after doing a successful melded magic chant. Then when we went back to the hill to rest, the rain suddenly pours and we run home soaking wet" onii-chan explains what happened. I needed in understanding.
"Here master Rudeus and friend. have a towel for each of you two to dry yourselves" Lilia then went towards us holding two towels for those two.
"And you can use the tub that I placed in our room upstairs" I told Rudeus to reuse the tub of hot water I used for bathing earlier.
"Okay. Let's go, Sylph" Rudeus said as he invites Sylphy upstairs.
"Wait. Why are you bringing Sylphy with you?" I asked Rudeus.
"Ah, we need to take a bath or else, [he] will get cold" Rudeus explains.
"I see. Go on" The two of them went upstairs and I walked towards the kitchen to cook something for snacks. I prepared the ingredients for the food by chopping vegetables.
After a few seconds of doing something, I suddenly realized something. "Wait.... Did onii-chan just said Sylphy is a he?"
"I'm afraid so, master Rebecca" Lilia said as she assists me on chopping the vegetables besides me.
"Ah, I see" I said while I continuing chopping.

I then look at Sylphy who was startled at my gaze. "Sylphy, could you please cover yourself with a towel and go downstairs for me?" I ordered her and promptly did what I said, she covered herself with a towel and exited the room, leaving me and my pervert brother behind.
Seeing Sylphy exited the room, turned back to my brother who is backing away from me.
"So, where were we? Ah yes, that's right... EXPLAIN YOURSELF, YOU PERVERT!!" I yelled as I point my finger at him.

God is dead.
My future suddenly vanished before my eyes and all of my descendants disappeared from the timeline.

I started with the time after Rebecca left us on the hill. Me and Sylphiette were practicing magic together and she got very excited when she did the incantations of the magic.
After a while, the sky suddenly went dark and it rained heavily. Both of us run towards home to take shelter.
We were then greeted by Rebecca and Lilia on our way in. Lilia gave us towels and both me and Slyphiette went upstairs to use the tub of hot water in our bedroom.
I stripped myself naked and prompt Sylphiette to strip as well. At that time, I didn't know she's a girl that time. I forced her to strip because her clothes are stealing the heat from her body. After I took all of her clothes, I finally realized that she's a girl.

"Wow~ Lame excuse you got there, onii-chan" Rebecca sassily says as she is resting her chin at the table with her arm.
"You say that, after you kick me at my crotch" I tried to rebuke her, but she furrows her brows.
"Hmph, you deserve it anyway, you idiot brother" She menacingly says which gave me chills down my spine.
"Ah, I'm sorry. I apologize for what happened earlier. Please forgive me, imouto-san" I immediately apologize to ease her anger.
She then puts away her arms from her chin, stood up and walks in front of me. Suddenly, she wraps her arm around me and hugged me.
"Hmph, I will forgive you this time, onii-chan because you were my [beloved] big brother" she says as she rests her head at my chest.
"What was that, Rebec-"
"Shut up and hug me already, you idiot brother" She rebukes me angrily.
"Y-yes" I hugged her too and she calmed down.
We stayed like that for a while in this day.

On the next few days later, everything went back to normal.
Well, normal is a bit of a stretch now. Because ever since that day, Rebecca seems acting different.
She quit her usual beating decreases significantly when I accidentally saw her naked in the bedroom. Instead of punching me, she just furrows her brows and shut the door.
She is also unusually clingy as well. She never left my side in every occasion. She doesn't say anything or do anything impulsive. Whenever I look at her, she just averts her eyes and blushes.

'What happened to her? I never seen her not being aggressive before. Did the events before shaped her personality a bit? Did the scene we had mellow her out?'
While I was deep in thought, Rebecca noticed me contemplating.
"What's wrong, onii-chan" she peacefully says.
'Yup, there's definitely something wrong here'
"Um, Rebecca. Are you feeling okay? Did something happened to you?" i asked her just to be sure.
"I'm feeling fine, onii-chan. Nothing much happens lately. Why do you ask?" she patiently replies and asked me.
'Well, it's nothing. I am just checking on you, that's all" I said, trying to ending the conversation.
"......" She then fell silent, not responding for bit. She looks like she is thinking about something.
Then she opens her mouth and wants to say something.

"Uum, let's see. I could say that I both like them" I made a honest answer.
She then furrows her brows even further, glaring at me.

"Uum, you see, I liked Master Roxy as a teacher and a master. Then I like Sylphy as a childhood friend and, as you say, a crush. So for me, I equally like them both in that regard" I explained to her honestly and she nodded in understanding.
"Well then. Let's change the question a bit" I nodded and listens to her question.
"Between the two of them and me, which do you value your likes more?" she then spice things up and added herself to the equation.
I pondered for a while and about to give her my honest answer.
"Well, I think I value you more than them for a bit"
"Really?!" She then excitedly says as her eyes sparkles towards me.
"Ah, yes. I like you more because you are my little sister" she then froze when I said that.
She went silent again, and raised her hand upwards. I reflexively block myself as I assume she will hit me and closed my eyes.
