Lü Bu lay in his grand bed, surrounded by the opulent furnishings of his luxurious mansion. The morning sun spilled through the large windows, bathing the room in a warm golden light. The bed was massive, the sheets made of the finest silks, and the bedposts were carved from rare and exotic woods.
Lü Bu's thoughts, however, were far from peaceful. He was still consumed by the events of the previous night, a battle that had come far too close to ending his life. He had faced the red-haired man, low-level trash in Lü Bu's eyes, and it was only through sheer luck that he had been able to launch his most strongest attack when he did. The thought of how close he had come to losing everything filled him with a wave of burning anger.
