18 Flame Vs Fist.

Seeing that Joo Moon Baek didn't start or plan to start the attack, Ryu decided to go first.
Covering his entire fist with foggy red Qi, he punched it in front of Joo Moon Baek to hit the latter jaw.
Joo Moon Baek on the other hand used a Qing Gong technique to do a sidestep followed by an arc of footsteps to encircle Ryu.
Once Joo Moon Baek was in Ryu's blind spot, he used his martial arts which made flames with a golden orange color cover.
Joo Moon Baek punched it towards Ryu's direction which made a wave of flames heads towards him.
Ryu's side was in danger so he used his defensive technique to shoulder the flame attack.

A dome of red energy envelopes Ryu protecting him from the flames of Joo Moon Baek, seeing his attack has been futile Joo Moon Baek once again used his flames. This time more intense.

Joo Moon Baek used his fist to punch upwards and upon punching, tens of flames were then shot out on an arc which then headed down back to the ground albeit aimed at Ryu. It was like a trebuchet of flaming boulders raining down hellfire.
It was stupid to take it to head so
Ryu was forced to use his martial arts to dodge it.

A red horse manifested on Ryu's back which guided him in the direction to head to dodge the flames.
He was like a great general riding a majestic horse maneuvering through the battlefield whilst leading his troops.
Ryu dodged and dodged and slowly killed the distance between the two of them and when he finally reached about 10 meters away from Joo Moon Baek. He opened his palm open and brought it up.

An Image of a Red Horse mounted a by General holding a red glaive appeared on Ryu's back.
And once Ryu dashed towards Joo Moon Baek the image of the General overlapped his body covering him with red energy like an aura.
Once Ryu closed the distance between the both of them, he then chopped down his hands downwards to Joo Moon Baek.
The latter crossed his arms and shielded it with flame, it managed to defend it but he was still injured by that attack. Ryu then kicked him in the stomach with the image of the horse making a back kick sending the latter skidding hundreds of meters away.
He felt his hands and stomach become numb when the attack landed on.
He then flail it around to remove the pain and once again took on a stance.

Joo Moon Baek outstretched both of his arms forward and opened his palm, suddenly a huge gust of flames erupted from it and created a spinning motion on his hands making it look like a flame drill.
A huge horizontal Hurricane of golden orange flame was shot out from both of his hands.
Joo Moon Baek was like Fire Lord Ozai at this moment but imagine his flames ten times hotter and him being highly dosed on steroids.
The Ground was scorched and it even became magma from it, Ryu, on the other hand, knew that confronting it head-on was not a great idea so once again used his technique.

Ryu stomped on the ground and ran away from the range of the flame, fortunately, he managed to dodge but a small ember of it managed to escape his attention and landed on his left shoulder burning it.
Joo Moon Baek looked at him smugly before realizing that Ryu too managed to land a hit. His smugness was removed when he saw Ryu taking on a stance once again. He felt instinctive danger when he saw the stance and immediately jumped 100 metes backward.

A huge gust of red energy formed around Ryu's fist, it was sucking the air and energy on the entire hall and currently it looks like a vortex of water swallowing everything on it's range.

Ryu released the Crimson black hole heading towards Joo Moon Baek. It sucked and devoured everything on it's path even the floor wasn't spared from it.
Joo Moon Baek knew that there is no way to defend this without taking sufficient damage so he did what the best he could and created a flame dome around him.

All of the Demonic People present was agape when they saw Ryu's performance. Joo Moon Baek can be consider the second or the third strongest Martial Artist in the Cult, someone who gained the title Soul Splitting Flame King from the battlefield because of his infamously action when is burning his enemy it was like he is splitting their very soul. But now he is being matched by a kid who just recently graduated from the Cave.
The rest of his classmates from the cave was also shocked by this, they knew Ryu was powerful but they didn't though that he would be this powerful. Even the Heavenly Demon was starting to like this new kid and was even pondering should he make him his successor.
They saw how Joo Moon Baek took Ryu's Crimson Black Hole head on and lose his right hand in the process.
Currently Joo Moon Baek was standing up holding back the pain he is feeling at this moment.
Thier fight was quick but many of them already knew who won based on their appearance, one with his right hand missing while the other with only a slight burn. But contrary to their expectation Joo Moon Baek didn't admit defeat and instead once again used his flame arts to attack.

A miniature sun manifested on Joo Moon Baek's fist and it was then released towards Ryu, it's temperature alone made the entire Hall hot like they were inside an oven.
It was so bright that the dimly lighted hall was entirely illuminated, making everybody cover their eye exvept the Heavenly Demon and the Two Great Demonic Master.
