She knew it had to be done, she knew that someone had to stay back and hold these poor excuses of a Jurassic park rip-off, or else they would be torn to shreds before they could even get to the Rebar Ruskie that ambushed them. She charged her laser cutter and swiftly cut down the cable connected to the elevator that was keeping her friends lifted. "V, No! WE NEED YOU!" N, her past love-.. No, she didn't have the privilege to call him that anymore after all she's done. The cable forcibly snapped, causing them to fall, V gave her friends a final salute. ' Take care of him for me will you? Uzi. ' ... "What's happening to me.." The sounds of glitching continued to worsen, Uzi didn't know what to do, everything they tried to do only made the corruption of the Solver worse... N held her hand and tried to give her a reassuring look, despite the situation, he still tried to comfort Uzi. At this rate she won't be herself anymore. ... Doll landed gracefully in front of them, fully intent on ending the fight here and now, she wasn't going to let this traitor stop her. Even if she had killed V, that doesn't mean the humans that had given her mother the 'sickness' she inherited would go unpunished. ... "DOLL!" N fired as many bullets as he could, all bouncing off Doll's Solver-Made barrier. She had killed V, she hurt Uzi. He's had enough of everything that was going on. ... "I'm.. sorry Tessa.. Uzi IS my.. Universe, there's no Inbetween here!" He argued with Tessa, despite knowing that the universe itself could possibly be destroyed by his choices, he wasn't going to leave Uzi, never. Tessa looked at him with shock, The N she knew would have.. Never said something so heavy just like that, trillions and more lives are on the line here. And he's.. Choosing her? ... "All I know is.. I need you." N pleaded to Uzi, he helped her get up. When suddenly he felt a spring of pain from his hand, Uzi had someone crushed his hand! " Thanks for being stupid, BUDDY " A monotonous voice that was familiar to help rang in his Audio receptors, he froze when he recognized it. No no no no no no no no no.... ... "Bloody hell! What the hell is that!?" The Australian continued running, she fired her revolver at the grotesque monster that was chasing her. ... N tried to pry off the hands that were holding him, despite his unnatural strength he was unable to shake them off due to how many were grabbing onto him "Tessa! UZI!" He screamed desperately, reaching a hand out for them. Just as Tessa and Uzi were about to die, multiple explosions suddenly sprouted from the monster that was holding him, allowing him to dash forward and save Uzi and Tessa. He turned around to see a face he was familiar with, but her actions were something new to him. Metallic wings hummed in a beat, slowly descending down with her rocket cannon. "You sure you wanted me to stay at the Pod, boss..?" J smirked, this was the first time she's ever disobeyed an order from a higher authority, N slack jawed when he realized this. "J..?" "Who else Bozo? You can't even be left alone without your squad leader having to get you out of trouble, huh?" She smugly said so, Tessa's form relaxed when she saw she could take a small breath. ... "WE HAVE TO GET RID OF HER! N!" J gripped the collar of N's coat, she was furious at her squadmate, the literal universe itself was in peril of being destroyed and he still chooses to pick the purple little shit!? N lost his patience and grabbed J's hands, gripping them tightly and prying her hold off of him. "Never! I made a choice J! I'm not going back on it!" He screamed at her, causing J to gasp. ... N and J couldn't stand up anymore, everything they threw at it did not work, they were buying time for Tessa to somehow destroy the lab as they held off the Sentinels and creations of the Solver. Uzi-... No, the solver descended down on them, completely corrupting Uzi's body and taking control of her, deep down he knew she was still down there somewhere. He'll take her back, he'll make sure of it. Damned be the consequences. ... " Soo! This is kinda awkward but, how about this? I'll lend you a hand. But in return you make sure the Solver is gone for good, oh, and make sure that Big brother N is happy." Cyn chirped to Uzi, who was dumb founded by everything that was happening, all hope for them was quite literally lost when this freak.. She wasn't even sure if she should call her a freak, this CYN was different from the one in N and V's memories, her voice wasn't robotic! ... "Did you miss me?" Uzi said the same words CYN had once did, except this time she said it towards the physical manifestation of the Solver after she had finally taken her body back. N and J looked at her flabbergasted, it was totally unexpected, but hey! At least they had a hope of getting out of here now. ... It was about to get away! If the [ABSOLUTESOLVER] manages to get out of here alive they won't get another chance to kill it! Everything will be done for! N and J sprung forward as fast as they could, their wings were somehow locked so flying was not an option, Tessa tried to reload as fast as he could. Uzi was out of commission after she had gone toe-to-toe with the Absolute Fabric of the Universe itself. The physical form of the Solver was sweeping away after it left Doll's body, it will likely spread itself again through multiple people if they failed to kill it here and now. STAB! " W-W-What, Shocked expression. " The solver was suddenly stabbed by a sword, from above a glint of light suddenly shone down and another sword found itself embedded into the Solver's dream-like body. "Haaaa!" V came down from the heavens, injuries and damage all across her body. N's eyes widened.. She survived! ... Everything was crumbling apart, the world, the universe, reality itself. A massive black hole with tendrils threatened to eat away the entire planet, the main source of this was currently in front of them, still completely vulnerable. But it was too late, they no longer have the strength to move anymore. J and V were being held down by hundreds of fleshy tendrils. He was being crushed by pure gravity, Tessa was holding onto a rebar for dear life as they were being sucked in. The heart of the solver was in front of them, still vulnerable and without its full potential. It's.. Over, they can't do it. N cursed, even if they could move, the black hole – Albeit with a really weak gravitational pull, but that won't be for long if they continued to do nothing – was trying to suck them in and turn them into nothing. Suddenly, he heard footsteps, he saw Uzi. Finally awake, V's sword in her hand. There was currently glowing purple/yellow light covering her entire form, the solver's glyph in her other hand. She walked through the deadly pull of the Black-hole completely unphased, as if it was not even affecting her. " Furious Glare and Confusion, How are you moving? Confused Quesitoning ." The world itself spoke with the Solver's voice. Uzi didn't say anything as she walked towards the Heart of the Solver. " No, stop. Desperation, Cyn, you traitor, why are you helping Uzi! Anger!" "Why would I? You've brought so much suffering to everyone I know." Uzi hissed. " You do not understand, Accusation, you will be manipulated and played around by humans, I am the fabric of the universe itself, the controller. For all the drones, don't do this ." "Yeah!? Well SCREW THEM humans! But I'm sure as hell not letting you destroy the world the people I love lives in! " Uzi brought the sword up, the protection casted upon her by Cyn starting to disappear. "Do it Uzi!" V screamed from the sidelines. She brought the sword down, splitting the heart in half. Suddenly the world exploded in a bright light before everything went back to normal. ... ++--------------------++A static calibration of a TV appeared over the flatscreen TV for dramatic effect, it was currently playing an video from 11 years ago, the video finally started the important part after a few seconds, a scene of multitudes of Worker drones appeared in the screen, all wearing the same clothes with the same appearances, before it transitioned to Humans shrugging at each other as they both equally fucked up and the planet exploding in a meltdown, then it continued to move on to other scenes such as drones finally having a future for themselves, then to the last part as the Murder Drone's pods came crashing down on the planet and started slaughtering people.The screen was currently playing a recollection of a long past events that had been long over,Suddenly a small hand with a purple light gently slapped over the screen, causing it to momentarily buffer. "Skip! We already know all of that, freaking biscuits." A young female voice complained, she silently gave an apology to the TV itself for slapping it, she turned back to her audience and continued on with her presentation."Ahem! So, just as our history classes taught, 11 years ago humans messed up and went kamikaze on the planet, completely obliterating themselves like stupid goobers off the planet, Worker drones took over, Murder drones arrived and made everyone's lives hell." The girl stepped forward, giving hand gestures as she continued explaining, her braided purple hair flowing down smoothly as her purple optics looked at her audience. "But everyone already knows that right? Butttt that was not what actually happened, there was some weird creepy stuff going on in the shadows and suddenly poof! A few years later Murder drones stopped killing Worker drones and now were all at peace." Her purple tinted colored tail swinging behind her loosely.She took out a remote and pointed it at the TV Screen, prompting it to change.The screen changed to a different scene showcasing the appearance of a grotesque bio-mechanical abomination riddled with sharp tentacles and claws, next to it was a disfigured worker drone, or what it used to be, with claws unnaturally fitted to a worker, visor covered In flesh."So uhh, I'll just skip the less important parts of my presentation' cause clearly you guys don't want another lecture on history." She empathized with her fellow students, some of which have already started to fall asleep, frowning as she slapped a hand over the table in front of her causing them to be startled.Internally she panicked and apologized for rudely waking them up."So! To the main part of my presentation, I'm sure a majority of you know about this but 16 years ago, a weird planetary thingy event now named "Singularity" nearly destroyed everything caused by uh.. What was it again..?" She tried to recall, before slamming a hand on her other, "Oh right! 'Angel', no one really knows about since it all just came down with a really huge blackhole that somehow didn't eat away the planet itself, it just had tendrils and stuff." She explained, she turned to see someone in her class raising a hand.She signaled for them to speak up, "Freak, this is literally just a made-up story by our parents, why are you even wasting our time with this?" The girl who spoke up mocked her.She wilted internally at her classmates' harsh words, but instead she willed herself to push through it."Not a made up story! Just four miles from our Outpost there's a huge crater made by the singularity. I even asked the Disassemblers if it was real and they said 'yes'." She defended.The girl who asked here was about to speak up when someone else spoke over her."It may not be common knowledge to most of us teenagers, but I can assure you it is real as it was confirmed by Miss J herself." A girl with a side ponytailed her spoke from one of the higher seats in the class.The voice came from a girl named 'Quinzlet', the class president. The opposing student stopped at her words when she saw who spoke over her and sat down."You may continue your presentation, Luzi." The class president told her.The girl who was giving a presentation, Luzi, beamed happily at her friend.Luzi coughed and continued on with her presentation."So, uh, as for the obvious question of 'how are we alive?', according to my research there were people that had been present to stop whatever caused that Event."She pressed the button on the remote, causing the TV to change slides again.The slide showed a silhouette of five people, all shadowy saved for two.Luzi knew that there was probably no one here that knew all of the figures that were being shown in the presentation 'Except me and Quinzlet.. Brad.. And uhh, I guess my teacher? She's mysterious after all ' Currently one of the figures that were being shown were recognizable by the students as she wasn't exactly too shadowed or blurred. A red-scarf, pale short hair and yellow eyes, a disassembly drone rumored to be unparalleled in beauty, her swords both equally prepared as she faced a giant shadowy monster in infront of her. She was a known figure in this Outpost, it was nearly impossible not to know her if you grew up in Outpost Alpha, the very same Disassembly Drones that young dronelings looked up to as a Hero, Serial-Designation V.Next to V, A pony-tailed disassembly drone crouched next to a figure of what was probably a human if the drones in the class had ever seen one. Just like V, she was also somewhat recognizable as she was one of the two figures that were not completely blacked out, a very popular and well-known authorial figure, Serial Designation J, the current CEO of JESSA.Next to her was the silhouette of a male Disassembly Drone, someone who was important to Luzi as thinking about him hurt her core. He was currently standing tall, the students could make out a few details of his figure such as his hat and clothes, but they didn't really know who this was as he was completely shadowed.Last but not least, someone that brought pain to her the most, but since she wanted to make this presentation somewhat accurate, she had to make do. Only the original habitants of Outpost 3 could recognize this figure even if she was shadowed, with short purple hair, goth-like clothes and a presence that screamed "Emo". Just the same as the Male figure, Luzi knew they were equally well known by the people of Outpost 3, but not Outpost Alpha.Only a handful of people inside the classroom could identify who were the ones being shown on the screen.Only V and J were recognized by most because of their fame and their position within the Underground Outpost."Not only that, not too long after the singularity happened, another event called the 'Rogue Disassembly Drone War' Happened on the surface, not really much known about that, but after that whole war thing, both Worker and Murder Drones came at peace." She didn't know the particular details about that war, she was created in that time but she sure as hell did not know much about it, only the adult workers knew the details about it. "After that, we thought it was finally time for us drones to get out of our Outposts and live and peace in the outside world, however something changed that.", She paused dramatically, making sure people were still listening to her, she saw the spot her bullies always took and saw them making fun of her, she ignored them and continued. "Five years ago, something strange appeared out of nowhere and caused havoc to those who were unfortunate to get close to it. The very first instance of an Eldritch appearing in history." She saw the collective gasp of some of her classmates, finally! She got their attention, even the bullies stopped to listen to her.It was obvious they would listen to her since this was a topic always taught to them as babies, but never really expanded.Eldritches."It first appeared in Outpost 10, completely wrecking havoc and killing everyone in the process, a week later, Outpost 11 was next to be destroyed just four miles in a different direction from our Outpost."She took a small breath and changed the slide on the presentation, she turned and continued."Ever since then, these things started to appear one after another, they eventually started to appear in different forms too, from honest-to-god-horror-worthy abominations to unexplainable beings."The screen changes to show a graph of multiple bio-mechanical creatures sections of their own, the first one was the drones with unusual flesh growing out of them."Finally, to the interesting parts of my presentation since this wouldn't be taught for another few years." She exclaimed. "First one on the list, the creepy dangerous ones that corrupts you up if it touches you for too long, something we know as an 'Fragmented'"The graph shrank to show multiple pictures of 'Fragmented' drones, most of them barely had intact limbs, while others had completely whole new appendages, mostly being sharp tentacles, bladed limbs."These." She pointed towards the screen "Are 'Fragmented' Drones, just as the name implies, these goobers used to be people until some weird horror stuff happened to them after they got too close to another Fragmented. " A few collective gasps came from the classroom again, yeah, it was obvious it was going to get their attention since they were teenagers, anything new or interesting to them will always grab their attention. – It is to be taken note that, she does in fact find her own presentation dark, and was very unsettled by her decisions to present this in a class full of 15 Years olds, being a 15 year old herself. – She steeled herself knowing this might be another source of bullying for her.She continued on."It's akin to what humans would call a 'Infection', this infection can spread from extended exposure to an Fragmented, usually just by being touched alone is enough to cause the infection to start, it's not as fast as you'd think, but definitely persists the longer you were in contact with one." The screen started to change again, showing an animation of a Worker Drone being in contact with a Fragmented."When exposed to this, A drone usually grows a rusty complexion before literal flesh starts coming from inside them, tearing them apart." The worker within the animatic is left on the screen, before a few texts appeared saying 'INFECTED'The metallic skin of the worker slowly turned rusty as flesh began to rip out their body, for a doodle animatic this was unusually graphic. "It usually takes more than a minute of direct contact for an infection to happen, of course, this gets worse.""If even a single injury, even just a scratch. If a Fragmented was able to inflict an injury on you, the speed of the infection will be increased, lowering your chances of surviving." A few grew horrified by this, even the bullies were unnerved by this."Basically, think of them as Zombies, except it's for us drones.." She scratched her cheek sheepishly."Second one is uh, the more well-known ones, the 'Eldritches', we all know this." The screen switched focus again, this time, on the giant monstrous biomechanical abomination, "The very same thing our parents keep telling us that's always lurking outside and the cause of all these problems, these guys we're the first before the Fragmented, unlike the fragmented which are just normal drones, but corrupted, these things look like they came out of some Monster Island rip-off.""Literally, they usually come in forms that resemble an animal or an insect." A picture of a spider-like creature made out of dead corpses of drones and flesh showed up in the screen, spooking the audience now with her presentation, "Yup, crazy right, now you'd be thinking, with all the disassembly drones in our Outpost, shouldn't these guys be a walk in the park? Answer to that is noooooo ... " She made sure to emphasize that part, "Since they've got some weird fleshy gooey things, killing these guys isn't just easy, they won't die until it's completely destroyed.""Situation really hasn't changed much since our CEO, Miss J, quarantined everyone inside the outpost, saying it's too dangerous outside." She scoffed.Sure, she was nice and kind, but that didn't mean she liked the current status quota of the Outpost."More like acting cowards.. We've got the means to fight.. why aren't we fighting back..?" She said that last part under her nonexistent breathOne of her classmates raised a hand up, this time, it was a male. "If everything you said in this presentation was true, and might be later proved wrong as this topic would be taught to us when we get older, how come these things haven't invaded the Outpost and killed us all if they were that difficult to kill."A few whispers started to become murmurs as students talked to each other, Luzi started to panic.Thankfully, another student stood up and answered the previous drone's question. "Technically, the Eldritches have already invaded the Outpost once, don't you know about the story about Serial Designation V? The Disassembly drone that saved us all after an Eldritch had gotten in.""You mean her? I heard she's so dreamy and beautiful!""I heard she was the strongest drone there is.""Dad told me stories of how she was a bad person back then, until she changed.""Nah, she a' murderer, that's what my Ma' said.""Idiot, she saved people from being killed."This brought up even a few questions as the class started to get louder, suddenly Quinzlet clapped her hands scolding everyone to shut up.She silently thanked her friend for that, 'That's my mom you're all talking about, shut up. ' she internally hissed."Well, since these Eldritches were so hard to kill, I made a SOLUTION to this problem!" She exclaimed. The female drone grinned, crouching beneath the table, she picked up a strange device that had a gun-like appearance."Which is why! I made this totally-working-awesome-plasma railgun-that'll-solve-our-problems ! Can't be a problem if there's NO PROBLEM right?!" Before she could show it off, a red light covered her weapon, prying it off from her grasp and slowly levitating over towards a female drone wearing a short red jacket with collar furs, and a ushanka on top of their long vibrant hair, calmly sitting down on her desk."Wha-?!" The young drone yelped as she watched her beloved creation be taken away, she grew fearful when she recognized that light, oh crapbaskets, she might receive a detention.The red light covering the weapon disappeared as Doll grabbed it from the air, she gave the young drone an unimpressed look before placing the weapon on her desk. ++--------------------++Doll was bored, quite a lot.If she knew being a teacher was so goddamn boring, she wouldn't have accepted becoming one.Scratch that, she absolutely knew how boring and troublesome it would be to oversee and teach hormonal teenagers, she'd seen it from her previous teacher, Lizzy's Dad as her time as a student.She sighed internally.Nonetheless she had to do something to at least pay for her sins, all the past murder she'd done in order to initiate a revenge-plot against V in the Prom and before that. Technically she DID succeed in doing that 16 years ago, back at the elevators.But she eventually came back moments before the final battle against the [ABSOLUTESOLVER] began, Doll hadn't forgiven the disassembly drone for murdering her parents, eventually she had come to the point where she needed to make a truce with Uzi's circle when the Rogue Disassembly drone wars happened, with her solver powers gone she was completely defenseless.She needed a place to live and survive, that and the whole 'Oil-intake' problem being fixed by that human, Tessa.This however does not mean she wouldn't try to kill V, she'll do it when the time comes.Seriously, screw that bitch for killing her parents..Anyways, it looks like Uzi's oldest daughter is starting her presentation, she started first off with a recap of what happened years ago, eventually she got to the part where these flesh-metal abominations started roaming Copper 9.Safe to say she was doing better than her mother's presentation years ago, since she's actually presenting a topic that wouldn't be taught for them for another 3 years, Doll gave a small nod to this.' Not too bad, she's teaching her fellow classmates while at the same time being off tracks ' she was quite literally on a different topic, the presentation was supposed to be about the uses of quantitative research, ' I'm already getting Deja vu, what's next? she's going to pull out a homemade weapon and explode inside the class? ' Doll snickered at that last part, despite their differences Doll owed it to Uzi for ending the fight against the [ABSOLUTESOLVER], she too would have been possessed by it if Uzi hadn't defeated the reality-breaking sickness.Because the [ABSOLUTESOLVER] was gone, all people who used to have it lost use of the power, this included the Disassembly Drones ability to regenerate, Uzi herself lost the power to use the solver.Then there was herself, who had somehow managed to gain a power similar to the Absolute Solver's ability to [TRANSLATE] and [ROTATE], she herself wasn't sure if it was even safe to have this. It wasn't as powerful though, only allowing for levitation of objects and a short burst of teleportation, there also wasn't any form of glyph or symbol when she used her powers, to her least of concerns, she wasn't in risk of suddenly getting possessed and reviving the Solver.Speaking of which, Doll looked at the teenager currently presenting a presentation in front of class.Her similarities to her mother was uncanny, complete by the fact she was also gothic and short, not to mention she had purple hair.Just as rebellious too, albeit a bit more calmer and goofheaded, not to mention she was literally an embodiment of emotional-support when it comes to it just like her father.Unfortunately that isn't just where the similarities end.' She also has crippling family issues, real ironic. Uzi- 'Doll was brought out of her thoughts when she heard Uzi's oldest daughter talking about a- Wait.. was that another railgun? ' Nope, not today. I've seen this with your mother and I'm not having it again 'She used her own branch of ability to take the weapon away from the 15 year old teenager, she grabbed it out away and put it on her desk."Luzi Doorman, might I ask WHY you have a potentially lethal weapon brought to my class? The presentation was about Quantitative Research. I appreciate the fact that you've at least taught your fellow classmates something beyond your current curriculum, but traumatizing them was unaccounted for."Doll gave her an impressed look as she said in a bored tone, she didn't bother talking in russian as it would take the young drone to translate them some time."Uh..!" MONTHS! Now she needed her Mo- Auntie. to get it back again, oh and on top of that, they called her Aunt on her! At least she'll be able to get it back soon.But still!The audacity.. Well, she was kinda wrong for bringing it out in front of class after all.Luzi sat down at one of the benches just outside the Teachers faculty and waited, it didn't take long for her beloved guardian and auntie to arrive, she frowned at this, she didn't want to trouble her for all the things she's done for her, and now they had to call her here all the way from her work.Luzi stood up and lowered her head with annoyance, she saw V across the hallway"Hey.. Mo-, Auntie.", she raised her head and looked at her much taller parent, making sure not to call her Mom so openly in public.Standing there with her signature aviator jacket, with a new long waist-coat covering her bottomswas V, she had a worried expression with her arms crossed.Behind her was a smaller drone with yellow eyes, long pony-tailed hair and slightly shorter than Luzi, hugging her legs, Vivi. ' Ohhhh~ it's my adorable Lil' sis! She's cute as ever! even if we're only half Oil-blooded sisters. 'Next to the small drone was someone of the same height, she also had the same yellow eyes, Aralee. her other younger sister, her own Oil-blooded sister, Vivi was her Auntie V's daughter.Both the adorable drones gave their older sister a wave, Luzi returned a wave of her own.' Gosh, they're both so cute I just wanna mush them in a hug! 'Melt your core over your sisters later, V is top priority right now."Luzi, there was a lot I was expecting today, one of them about you bringing a weapon in your class of all places was not one of them, care to explain to mommy why you did that?" V sighed heavily. Luzi flinched back as digital sweat droplets started appearing in her visor."I-I was just uh.. Making a presentation about.. some things... " She brought two of her fingers together trying to look innocent as much as possible."And let me guess, The Eldritch kind?" V brought her face closer to the teenager, easily towering over her daughter."The.. Eldritch kind.." She barely managed to say, her face sweating a lot.V frowned at her, before pinching her metaphorical nose. 'Just like her .' "At least you didn't get hurt, Gosh damn it kid, we'll continue this back at home." She sighed as she opened the door to the faculty. "Stay here with your sisters, I'll go talk to your... Teacher." She murmured that last part with venom.She entered the faculty room and closed the door.Luzi felt something pull at her skirt, she looked back and saw her sisters giving her puppy eyes."Hey big sis!" Aralee chirped."Big sister!" Vivy joyfully said alongside Aralee.Luzi looked at them for a few seconds, before her face contorted into pure pleasure, Ahhh! They're so cute!She hugged both of her sisters and lifted them both up, she had a good amount of strength due to being a Hybrid."Hey yourself, you little munchkins, what are you both up to?"Aralee spoke up first, "Me and Vivi went to play with Braddy and Junny!
