023 I have a son mom

Nathan has gone through more than half of his contacts from Toronto, he still couldn't find anything on Sophie's whereabout... he wasn't going to just give up, he felt the need to find her no matter how long it takes. He was a little at ease knowing Gerald was also helping out. Gerald was surprised at the news of Nathan already a dad and was looking forward to meeting him soon. Nathan felt grateful to still have Gerald as more of a brother than a friend over the years.

It's been three weeks since Nathan knew he had a child, he was tired of seeing Zane from a far off, Nathan was yearning to be in his life but Audrey kept asking for time... Nathan decided it was time to tell his folks about their grandchild and nephew... driving to his parents house, he couldn't help but imagined how they were going to take it, he just hope they'll be supportive... Chloe was the first to welcome Nathan, she was more than glad and grateful to have him as she could freely pursue her own career now.

Chloe. Excited... 'hi bro, how was the ride?'

Nathan. Smiling 'it was fine... Where's everyone?'

Chloe. 'Mom and dad are inside.' Smiling widely 'I actually invited a friend over, I'm excited to introduce you to her.'

Nathan. 'Come on Chloe, that again? I told you before now that I'm not interested in any of your friends?' Paused 'stop doing this sis.'

Chloe. 'You leave me no choice as you choose to be single... do you know how popular you are amongst my friends? You need to visit Barcelona soon to know.'

Nathan. Sighed 'Chloe, this needs to stop... I am not emotionally available... tell your little friends that your brother's heart is taken...' he bit his tongue to stop himself from mentioning Zane... he must tell his family together the next day at brunch, Chloe will only raise alarm if he ignorantly blurt it out now. He held Chloe's hand as they went in together...

Nathan met a redhead that turned out to be Chloe's guest at dinner, he could see how beautiful she was then wondered why she needed an older guy like him instead of meeting and dating guys her age... Jennifer as Chloe introduced couldn't keep her eyes off Nathan, it was getting uncomfortable that he had to excuse himself from dinner... he decided to go out for an evening stroll. Walking down the street he decided to call Audrey.

Audrey. Yawning... 'hello...'

Nathan. Apologetic 'Hey Drey, did I call at a wrong time?'

Audrey. 'NO, not really. What's the matter?'

Nathan. 'Nothing really, I'm calling to check on you guys. How's Zane?'

Audrey. 'He is fine, I just put him to sleep.' Paused 'are you free tomorrow? I think it's time you meet Zee.'

Nathan. Excited 'yes!!! I am free, when can I come over?'

Audrey. 'Is 12:00pm ok?'

Nathan. Smiling 'yes, I'll be there... thanks Audrey, thank you. Goodnight.'

Nathan was excited, he was finally going to meet Zane... he hurried back home as he had to break the news of a new member of their family emerging soon, there was no time to wait till tomorrow, it had to be now...

Nathan. Excited 'Chloe, Where's mom and dad? Please get them as there's something I'd love to share with you all.'

Nathan sat quietly waiting for his parents and sister, noticing Jennifer was looking at him seductively, he remembered the issue with Sophie and got really angry.

Nathan. Coldly. 'You'll have to excuse me Jennifer, I need to speak with my family alone!!!'

Jennifer half scared and half disappointed quitely stood up and walked out into the room made available for her. It took a while for his parents and sister to sit and eagerly listen to what he had to say.

Besty. Concerned 'What's so urgent that couldn't wait till tomorrow Nate?'

Nathan. 'I have a son mom.'

Chloe. Laughed... 'yea right... you wouldn't even meet any girl, how can this be possible?'

Taylor. Shocked 'what are you talking about son?'

Besty. 'Explain!!!'

Nathan. Emotionally 'I have a five years old son mom. I found out about this recently, I'll meet him tomorrow.'

Besty. Surprised 'how can this be Nate? I've known you to be very careful, I have never seen you with any woman!!! Are you sure you know what you're talking about?'

Nathan. 'Yes mom... we were together for about a year, we had a misunderstanding, she left I didn't know she was pregnant mom, dad... she only told me about him recently.

Chloe. 'Who's this she? Are you talking about Audrey? Is that little boy my nephew?'

Nathan. Slowly 'yes Chloe.' Paused 'I'll finally meet him tomorrow mom, I can't believe I get to be a father.'

Taylor. 'Is this Audrey one of my employees?'

Nathan. 'Yes dad.'

Besty. 'Is she married?'

Nathan. 'NO mom.'

Besty. 'Good, get ready, you are getting married to her as I won't have my grand child live with his parents unwed.
