009 It's all work

It's been 2weeks since Audrey started working on the case with Nathan, at first she was reluctant as she thought he had a hidden agenda but to her dismay, it was always the case and nothing else... Audrey was always on her toes whenever Nathan comes to the meeting room which was always. She was always reminding herself what happened in the past, that was her antidote of staying sane!!! Audrey was expecting Zane the next day, she's managed to put everything in place like the kindergarten he's attending and babysitter he's staying with until she's through with her work for the day and weekends were going to be fun....

Nathan was I'm a world of his own... this is supposed to make Audrey sorry and make her beg but why is his groin yearning for her? He keeps making excuses and looking for a way to be with her all the time... he was glad he was incharged of the case as it gave him the upper hand to spend more time with Audrey. The thought of the mystery man she ran off with and the story to how she moved to Los Angeles was still a puzzle he really wanted to crack but how come he's presently having the urge to sneak up to her checking in his file cabinet and letting his lips ravage hers?

Audrey. Scared of the way Nathan was looking at her... 'I have finally found it!!!'

Nathan. Quickly snapping back to the moment.. 'ok... I ermmm...' clearing his throat 'that'll be all for today. Least I forget, try to finish up with that today, summarise and get it back to me tomorrow at most 11:00am.'

Audrey. Relived she's done for the day... 'ok... least I forget, please can I be permitted to work half day tomorrow? I sorta have a family thing to do.'

Nathan. Gave her a suspicious look. 'I don't think that'll be a good idea been that the courth date is drawing nearer and we still have alot to cover...' he thought jealously 'so the asshole is still in your life? I might as well sink his relationship the way he did mine with you.'

Audrey. Looking distressed... 'I promise to make out for lost time, please this is really important... my family is visiting for the first time.' She blurted out desperately.

Nathan. Seeing how frail and sincere she looked, he couldn't help but feel guilty and sorry, how could he let jealousy take a hold of him? 'Ooh really? Anyone I know?' Immediately realising what he did and remembering they both promised to not put any personal issues in their meetings. 'Sorry, what I meant to say was no problem but make it up!!! You can leave.' He quickly turned his attention to face the view from his office window.

Audrey was a little skeptical about the events of her meeting with Nathan, she kept playing was events over and over in her head as she went back to her office, she almost felt like he definitely wanted something more than working together with her. Sitting at her desk, she remembered how he looked in his maroon coloured tailored suit when she saw him in the elevator that morning, she remembered how he looked in his office after taking off his suit, the way he smelt and the hunger in his eyes when she caught him looking at her not too long ago... immediately, she felt a heat rush all over her body. Her phone rang, seeing it was her sister Samantha, she remembered how Nathan jilted her with Sophie and she was immediately filled with anger and despair...
