Multiverse: Undefeated Bahamut Chronicles

Travelling through unpopular verses: Starting From Undefeated Bahamut Chronicles. I want to see how far I can go with this one. My experience in writing is still mid, but I'll try my best. He died in his previous world without living a fulfilled life. However, he got a second chance he never asked for nor wished for. At the same time, perhaps seeking a more fulfilled life, he decides to see where this new crazed journey will lead him. .... Author's note: Wasn’t supposed to release this until I had at least 15k words, but at the same time. I’m curious to see how much interest there is in these not-so-popular anime verses because there are lots out there. (Skill issue on my part if I don't get much readers). Some might not like them, but I have an interest in them. Then, when I thought about it, I decided, why not. I'm also curious about what insanity I'll cook from these. I'll be the one to decide which worlds he goes to next. P.S: Mc doesn't know anything about the world's he'll be travelling to. Don't expect it to be a high-quality fic, and don't expect too much. Warning: if you don't like it, you can kindly drop and leave, or drop a valid and helpful review, any bot review or hate comment will be deleted sharply. (I deleted my last fic because of that).

Chapter 2

After catching his breath for a moment, absorbing all those previous information, Rayto continued.

"All that's left is skills..."

With a mumble along with a swipe of his finger mid-air, another panel appeared in front of him.

[Perfect condition:]

- [You posses the perfect body, no matter how much you eat drink or laze around, your body condition will never deteriorate.]

- [Additionally, your body also posses' certain degree of resistance to poisoning, sickness, diseases among other things.]

- [Note: You will still experience slight fatigues and tiredness if you overwork yourself too much.]

[Vigor:]

- [Your body ages slower than most due to your special physique, your body functions and appearance may equal that of a teenager even in your sixties.]

"...."

'So, what are you tryna say...?'

Rayto tilted his head.

"Perfect condition as well as Vigor."

As much as Rayto wanted to calm himself down, his lips couldn't help but curl upwards.

"As long as I don't involve myself in red flags, I would live a very long life."

"Hahahaha."

This seemed to bring him joy when he thought of it, he was this age when he died in his previous life, and even so....

...Rayto was destined to have died later—

"It seems like that's all."

"As for the main mission, it may fairly take sometime."

"I need to gather more information, other than what the guide has given me." Rayto nodded, satisfied, but—

"While that is said on done...."

GROWL!

—He didn't seem to have thought of a long-term goal.

Rayto held his stomach like that, his face changing by the second.

'Guess even with this weird of body of mine, I still get hung...Guess I'm still human.'

"Not only food... Also, a place to stay..."

While the whole situation was still hard to swallow, but for now, priorities called for priorities.

Currently, he has to get his stomach filled up.

Else, he might be the first reincarnate to actually die a second death after getting reincarnated.

More so, death by hunger.

Timeskip brought to you by Rayto finding his way across an entire city.

Few minutes later.

After wandering aimlessly almost across the entirety of Crossfort. He finally arrived at a pub.

"As expected of a medieval-fantasy world."

It was like those medieval-fantasy shows come to life.

Though the place was rather empty.

The pub had a sufficient space with ten tables in place, along with four chairs per table.

But the odd thing was that, there was no one there apart from the supposed owner, staying by the counter.

"..."

After a shot nod of acknowledgement to himself, he strode towards the counter.

With a smile, he greeted. "A nice day we have today, my good sir."

The man at the counter was a man in his mid-forties, with grey hair and a short stature. "..."

"..." The man was simply buried under the newspaper he was reading.

Rayto, still smiling, exhaled lightly before asking again.

"Uhm... Good sir—?"

"—What do you need?" Seemingly done with the newspaper he was reading, the man closed the paper, before sparing Rayto a glance.

"I was curious if you were in need of any help?"

Rayto pointed towards the door, he had seen a sign of assistance required, though the sign was old and the words were barely readable.

Though Rayto had to question his worldview on how he was able to read such writings, but that's not the issue here.

The whole place just felt too unnatural to Rayto, but it was also the perfect place.

"Is that all? Then you better be on your way."

"Oh, come on, don't be like that."

The man closed his eyes, reopened the newspaper, but Rayto persisted, calling for his attention.

Seemingly intrigued, the man glanced at Rayto, his features, before his gaze was directed to the two-sword hanging by his waist.

'Those are....'

He then looked at Rayto's smiling face. 'I see... then, he is a...'

"Haah. Fine then. If you wish."

"Hehe, thank you, old man." Rayto beamed a smile at the man who simply shrugged it off as he went back to reading.

'Old man...?'

The rest of the day passed by with the man introducing Rayto to his work along with other chores Rayto would be doing for the time being.

The reincarnate wasn't expecting to stay here for long.

"By the way... When is the next Official mock battle?" Rayto asked, cleaning the utensils of the pub, there weren't much that were used afterall.

"Huh? Let me see... The last one was just a week ago. The winner a famous Drag-Knight, I heard he even defeated an officer. He's a pretty impressive rookie."

Hearing the words of the pub owner, Rayto nodded. "I see..."

In the span of a month, he'll have to get as much training and self sufficiency as possible.

'System.'

'Open [Quests].'

[Side quest: Participate and win the monthly official drag-knight mock battle.]

- [Rewards: Atismata currency x100,000, +1 Stat Point.]

He has but a month to gain the capabilities to win in an official mock battle filled with experienced people.

No matter how much he looks at it, this might be impossible at the moment.

Heck he wasn't even sure that after a month of training, he would have the capability to win.

'That's why the system didn't specify a time limit?'

'Then, it could take me a year and it would still count?'

'But... I'd rather try my best in a month's time. To test my limits, and to see how much I can grow under pressure like I've always done.'

Rayto thought as he raised his hand wet with soap upwards, before clenching it.

"...." The old man looked at Rayto's behaviour weirdly, but he shook it off.

'To think a talented Drag-Knight like him would have a few screws loose. What a pity.'

Later in the night.

Coming out of the pub's front door was Rayto who immediately after getting out was mesmerized by the beautiful nighttime scenery.

'It's more beautiful at night.'

The young boy thought as he liesurly made his way across the streets.

The kind old pub owner had given him a small room in the floor above the pub along with some of his neat old clothes.

Currently, Rayto was wearing a slightly oversized creamy long-sleeved T-shirt which he rolled up, along with a fitting brown trouser. Standard fantasy fit.

The two swords hanging by his side only gave him more drip.

Though his appearance was above average at best, he knows how well to dress, so, Rayto wasn't as less handsome as some certain pretty boys.

"Hey~ Boya~ You look handsome. How about a night with big-sis? What do you say sweetie~?"

Tempting onee-sans tried to approach him, but Rayto clenched his fist in determination.

"Women would only affect the speed at which I master the Drag-Machines!"

He declared, turning down the offers while running away!

Plus, he didn't want to get drained by succubi.

But now, this was the time for something else. Something more important than spending the night with Ara ara onee-sans.

That was....

Upon finding a secluded forest, a little far from the main district.

"Come forth, the Branded Wing Dragon which is the symbol of power. Obey my sword and fly, [Wyvern]."

Reading the pass code on the system's interface, Rayto activated his Wyvern Drag-Machine.

Holding the sword pointed towards the ground, Rayto recited the pass code.

The pass code is a necessary chant in order to transfer a Machine Dragon before oneself.

It basically transfers the Machine Dragon to the user through voice recognition.

Silver lines appeared on the sword, which meant the Machine Dragon had acknowledged of the contractor's voice.

Following that was particles of blue-white light that enveloped Rayto.

"Connect On."

As he muttered again, the light instantaneously dimmed, taking a solid shape around Rayto's body.

The head, both arms, shoulders, waist, legs and the wings and armaments.

This is the dress gears which were similarly excavated from the ruins which efficiently conducts the energy from the Force Core.

And the protected the equipped parts (of the body) as it also generated a powerful barrier, different from a common barrier, on its surface.

The machine armor which imitated a dragon was equipped as if uniting with Rayto and he became a Drag-Knight of about two sizes bigger than the body of the person himself.

Ancient weapons excavated from the ruins.

That power which concealed a great military power was however quickly engulfed by a huge pressure on the opposite side.

"Hahaha, this is crazy." Rayto wryly laughed as he felt the energy within him surge.
