Chapter 10

After getting exhausted due to mindlessly walking around on an empty stomach, Kuma was laying on the ground.

Suddenly an elderly man kicked him in the ribs.

"Hey runaway, where are your parents? Life not spoiling you enough?"

Jeez. What's with old man? He has a problem with kids or something?

Kuma instantly sat up as a realization hit him. A person meant a local to this world. A local meant information.

"Excuse me sir, but where am I?"

The elderly man seemed suspicious about Kuma, but answered anyway.

"A forest near Fort Town. It's near that major town called Hargeon."

Hargeon? Why was that familiar? Kuma tried to remember but nothing came to mind.

"Hey old man, what year is it?" Kuma asked, losing the fake politeness.

The elderly man scoffed. "I ain't that old, but it's the year X774."

That's when it clicked. Magic? Hargeon? Weird year names? He's in the world of Fairy Tail. Kuma's eyes widened with confusion however.

If his memory of the lore was correct, the plot starts in the year X784, not X774.

Kuma was ten years too early for the plot! Thinking it over however, he realized that this might be a blessing in disguise. With 10 years to kill, he could train for a while, and travel to another world in the meantime. The worlds he travelled to might be random, but that doesn't mean they won't ever repeat.

With that, Kuma spent an entire year just doing chores for the elderly man in exchange for the basic necessities of life, and spent his free time practicing magic.

After the year was up, Kuma bid farewell to the old man and went out on his own.

Kuma had received a major change in this year: A system update.

While he honestly paid more attention to the world around him, the new system version was actually nice.

Name: Kuma

Current World: Fairy Tail

Level: 10/20(Naruto World)

Level: 5/25(Fairy Tail World)

Active Skills: Glass Magic(5/10), Mirror Magic(⅖)

Passive Skills: ???(0/1)

Sealed Skills: Glass Jutsu, Mirror Jutsu

It didn't list anything he didn't need to know at the moment, and expanded the information he did need to know.

After spending another five years traveling on his own, Kuma had finally felt strong enough to try his luck elsewhere.
