4 Chapter 4: Dark King

~Third POV~

Alex spent his time looking around the Sabaody Archipelago searching through the area with people of different types all around the place.

As Alex was fascinated with the area, he knew that the next step was to hunt for some pirates and the Dark King himself to learn about Haki.

That was the idea that he has the [Mera Mera no Mi] for a Logia devil fruit would cost around 2 Billion Berri.

Alex was hoping to sell it to the Dark King Silvers Rayleigh to have him teach him Haki in all forms if possible.

He knew if he couldn't unlock the [Conqueror Haki] in a year then he would be able to unlock either [Observation Haki] or [Amendment Haki].

Passing through the hotel grove of area 70 – 79 Alex took his time to move around the area of going into groove 1 – 29 more specifically groove 13 to find the Shakky's Rip-Off Bar.

Moving along to his path Alex notices the thoughts of the other bounty hunters and pirates roaming in the area.

He made a note to capture them alive or finish them off when he has the chance.

Going around the area he was soon surrounded by a group of men as he didn't recognize them as one of them with a dirty look asks me while carrying his chains, "Lookie here boys we have a pretty boy slave walking around? How about we capture ya so we can sell ya?"

Narrowing his eyes Alex wasn't amused by the threat at all.

Viewing that the slave catchers were getting near him Alex sparks electricity all around himself scaring off the people but too late as a burst of electricity out of his surroundings hitting the people surrounding him.

They were hit hard from the hit.

As they were hit they soon all fell to the ground spasming out in pain as Alex didn't want to kill them so the next best thing was to cripple them.

With that he casually walked towards the bar at his pace as he enters inside Shakky's Rip-Off Bar he sees a casual bar opening up in the area with some chairs and tables but most of all two people inside catching his attention.

Rayleigh is an elderly man of relatively tall height with a very strong and defined build. Two of his most distinguishing traits are his round glasses and facial hair, which is arranged embattled across his lower jaw. He also has a scar over his right eye, which he has had for many years.

The Dark King chooses to dress quite simply, usually just in a nearly plain t-shirt, shorts, and sandals. When out in public, he also seems to enjoy the cover of a large silver hooded cloak, though the hood is often down. Underneath these clothes, the old man's body is surprisingly built and very well-toned, a testament to his incredible strength.

Shakky is a relatively slim and tall woman with short black hair, with two tufts pointing upwards, and is always seen smoking a cigarette. She looks very young despite her old age.

She typically wears a pink, v-neck t-shirt that exposes her stomach with a black spider on it beneath a black jacket with pink lines running down the sleeves that has a collar with wing-like cuffs. She also wears a yellow beaded necklace, pants that have a giraffe-like pattern, and a belt with a white cardigan tied around it. She also wears white shoes and has painted fingernails.

As Alex enters inside the building Rayleigh looks at the young man with a smile on his face as he questions Alex's stunt that he did earlier, "Ah! Hello, their young man how is your first time entering the Grand Line and making it here? Also, I see that you're a devil fruit user a Paramecia by chance."

Alex was surprised but knew that Rayleigh was a monster in his own right considering he used his Haki to see the events happen.

But being kind to the Dark King Alex smirks as he replies what he wanted, "Not really I just flew over here with my Logia Devil Fruit. You're the Dark King Silvers Rayleigh is that correct the legendary right hand of the Roger Pirates?"

Rayleigh just smirks as he holds his beard as if remembering his time in his prime, "Aww… those were the good old days when I was young and on top of things but yes I am young man. Tell me are you interested in learning of my adventure or the One Piece?"

Alex shakes his head no to the old man's request but instead brings the Logia [Mera Mera no Mi] out from him surprising Shakky as she says her voice of what Alex was holding, "That is a devil fruit and a Logia no less. If the shape is right then in that case the fruit you're holding is the [Mera Mera no Mi]!"

Alex nods his head in agreement as he requests to Rayleigh as he bows down to him showing that his humble to him, "Yes Dark King Rayleigh I wish for you to train me personally in the arts of [Haki] and all of its forms if possible! And in return, I will hand over the Logia Devil Fruit to you!!"

Rayleigh looks at the fruit with monetary interest considering obtaining a Logia is worth a lot of money for his habits.

But he turns his eyes on Alex as he was curious how a young man like him has an electric-based Logia and a fire Logia in his possession, but he didn't care since he will get a lot of Berri for him to use.

However, Rayleigh sees Alex with an analyzing gaze on him determining his worth as he asks Alex a next question, "Hmm… tell me young man what is your name and why do you seek strength if you aren't interested in searching for the One Piece?"

Alex didn't hesitate as he responds to him in a confident voice, "The name is Alex Smith Rayleigh but what I want is simple. I just wish to get stronger my Goro Goro no Mi is already a good start for me, but I know Devil Fruit users are at the mercy of Haki users, so I need to learn Haki to combat them but otherwise, that is about it."

Hearing about Alex Devil Fruit Rayleigh was certainly now excited to train the young man how to use Haki and with the rumored invincible fruit no less.

This could make his time worth it for Rayleigh as he was interested in training Alex, so he asks him in a jolly tone, "Alright then young man. I'll personally teach you Haki for about a year you hear me but not here."

With the agreement set Alex hands over the [Mera Mera no Mi] to Shakky to sell it or eat it.

The fruit didn't matter as long as Alex can learn Haki and increase his strength.

That was all that it mattered to him to get stronger and didn't mind waiting an extra few months in this world unless it's to train himself for the other worlds have to offer.

Alex nodded immediately as Rayleigh goes outside with Alex following him go out first as he was about to change Alex stops him by using his powers, "Wait! Dark King you don't need to do that here let me provide you a ride with my abilities I just need you to tell me where to head to is all."

With a snap of his fingers Alex conjurors up a lighting cloud big enough for him to ride on appears on the ground surprising Rayleigh as he laughs at the scene.

Next after they both climbed on the cloud as they were suddenly now flying off to a new direction away from the Sabadoy Archipelago with Rayleigh leading the way going off course the Grand Line into the Calm Belt.

Alex knowing where this old man is leading him is the place where Luffy train for the next two years is on Rusukaina island.

Rusukaina is an island in the Calm Belt that is to the northwest of Amazon Lily. It is a harsh island that has forty-eight seasons a year which change almost weekly.

There are several different species of dangerous animals on Rusukaina. Boa Hancock openly stated that the island is dangerous even by Kuja standards. A country supposedly used to exist on this island, but its people could not survive against the extreme environment and died out.

According to Silvers Rayleigh, when Monkey D. Luffy arrived on the island, there were over five hundred beasts living there he would not be able to defeat unless he got stronger.

That was the island that Alex was heading.

As they passed by Amazon Lily, they were now on the land of Rusukaina island with the current weather being sunny.

When they landed to the ground Alex was a few spaces away as Rayleigh asks him in a happy manner, "Ok then young man now that where here show me your moves to see how I should train you exactly?"

Alex only nodded as he started to sprout electricity out of his body bulging his muscles to increase his strength and rushes towards the Dark King!
