3 Chapter 3: Raijin Island
~Alex POV~
As I enter inside the city with a big umbrella protecting the place, I managed to see the people here are friendly here…
I guess they are that nice I suppose but I highly doubt it was for that reason.
Going towards the place I look around the place to see the buildings are made of metal on the roofs of the place while the rest has a stone feature on them
Admiring the view I was soon approached by a small old lady coming near me as she approaches me with an umbrella in her hand, "Hello there young man are you an outsider since you don't have your umbrella would you like one?"
Stopping to admire the view I look towards the old lady as I smile towards her as I ask her in a kind voice, "Ah… yes miss I'm new to this area I was hoping to find a place to train here also the name is Alex Smith it's a pleasure to meet you."
The old lady handing me the metal umbrella replies to me in an innocent voice, "You are very kind good sir and the name is Kasa if you are looking for a place to train don't bother you will die on this island from the lighting if you tried."
Nodding my head to her I didn't agree since I'm literally a Lighting Human but that doesn't mean she is wrong though…
I only just got these powers with no battle experience to use them, but I do have modern knowledge to use them effectively.
Ending the conversation, the old lady Kasa left me alone as I went around viewing the area of the city, I knew that I have seen enough of knowing where the location of this place is and the important key locations I need to know.
With that, I left the city safely as I continue to explore around the island finding a suitable place for me to train my Devil Fruit ability to the fullest of my abilities.
Wandering around the island I managed to find a location with abundant lightning strikes happening all around the place.
Heh…
Who says that lightning doesn't strike the same spot twice clearly, they never seen this island lighting?
With that, I took off my shirt and jacket I had on me with me half-naked on the front since I don't want my clothes to burn off from the strike.
Ok, the first step I need to do is get used to the lighting in the area into directing the strikes into my body to get a better feel of it.
Making my body get a better feel of being hit with electricity will stimulate my muscles to get more used to electricity being pumped into me each second.
But this method will help me more with the volts I have with me to use.
Since I started to have my Goro Goro no Mi ability I doubt I have all the volts necessary to use all of Enel's moves but if I use this method, I will eventually get there if I keep on practicing at this pace.
But I won't only try to let myself be hit but I want to be able to dodge these lighting strikes so that I can use them in a fight.
"Bzzt…"
Looking over to see the lighting started to change their strikes towards me I knew it was going to be a pain, but I wanted to test out my attacks with my Devil Fruit.
Getting myself into punching position I see that the lighting above me strike towards my direction as I threw my punch powered by lighting [5 Million Volt Punch]!
With that my [5 Million Volt Punch] got easily destroyed as the lighting strikes all comes towards me.
God damn it…
"Bzzt!!!"
"RUMBLE…!"
With that, I was hit hard making me grit out my teeth in pain feeling the lighting hurt me this much.
"GRR…!"
But it was necessary training to help even if I smell my body was burnt by something but I managed to get myself up again as I was now up again seeing the lighting began to form again.
Just great…
"Bzzt!!!"
With that, I was hit again by the attack as I managed to endure this pain even when I wanted to leave this place!
But if I run now then how can I get myself stronger in the future?
As much as I don't like to admit it I need this to help me grow better to get over with now than later…
"Bzzt!"

~Third POV~
Like that Alex spent the majority of his three months in the one-piece world training his Goro Goro no Mi to have a better form and usage for his use.
Alex manages to keep up the work and eat in his time off luckily, he managed to get all his food from his home into his inventory, but he knew it was going to run out soon and he needed Beli the currency of this world to survive.
So, Alex spent most of his time training the limits of his Devil Fruit ability of electricity using the basics of the fruit to the more advanced forms of them in that time.
During this three-month period, Alex managed to control the sounds he's been hearing from his devil fruit.
Because of the powers, he can listen to the electrical sound waves that traverse the very air itself, but he was having difficulty in controlling it but in that period, he managed to cancel it out entirely for the time being if he focuses.
In his countless efforts to control his Devil Fruit, he managed to get his volt usage to the max of 200 Million but at the cost, he managed to damage his body showing over that he had some scars on his upper region on his body for getting better control.
Fortunately for him since Alex has been abusing his body to absorb each strike of lighting from Raijin Island strike him, he was able to become more pain resilient to anything hitting him now and further increase his volt usage in the process.
Alex was able to train the most he can from the island in a peaceful time even manipulating the lighting strikes on the island to his control although with difficulty, but his reaction time has greatly increased.
By applying his muscles to bring electricity to the majority of times under the effects of lighting he was able to have a greater reaction time by sending an electric pulse to his neurons to avoid any attack on autopilot similar to Killua Nen [Godspeed].
But he can only use it to avoid attacks unconsciously for the time being, but it was manageable for him to do although he can't control people just yet by using their natural bioelectricity or by their neurons.
Currently sitting down peacefully was Alex enjoying himself finally finish eating the last of his meal reading over the news that the Coo birds drop in the area.
He was reading the events happening across the New World and Paradise that Donflamingo became the new king of Dressorosa after the supposed failed king Riku tried to kill his subjects as Alex narrows his eyes at this.
While he may like Doffy as an antagonist in the show Alex wasn't willing to go up against him in the New World if is to help out the royal family, but he wasn't a person to back away from this mess.
But he did think of the pros and cons to this being he finally chose to deal with him currently since at this point Kaido isn't his backer and he really didn't like Doffy's reign.
With that he puts down the newspaper as he has a smile on his face with a couple of metal balls, he has from molding the metal umbrella that Kasa gave her by using the heat of the electricity to turn them into projectile rail guns.
Alex was proud to have this ability of the Goro Goro no Mi falls under the lines of electromagnetism subcategory power for him to use.
The principle behind the Railgun is simple: there are two parallel currents on either side of his hand, the first one going towards the palm and the second one coming back towards his body and a projectile that acts as a bridge between the two currents.
For the Railgun to work, the driving current goes through the positive side, through the projectile, and comes back through the negative side, using the Lorentz Force with the addition of Fleming's left-hand rule.
The metal ball acts as the projectile, which is propelled towards the target using the electromagnetic force thus making him able to fire a metal projectile at three times the speed of sound by utilizing a great amount of electricity.
This idea he was inspired by the anime he watched from A Certain Scientific Railgun this skill of Alex is his trump card against anyone in the one-piece world.
Would these human characters survive against it?
No, they wouldn't survive a hit by one unless they exploded but if they did, they would have to face a barrage of them coming at them full force.
With that in his thoughts, he shakes his head in denial as he reasons himself to not try, "Nope not worth the effort even if I did anything to Doffy now that brings in attention and last I check I don't have Haki so better not mess with them."
As Alex is thought over his actions of what to do next, he decided to pay a visit to Sabaody Archipelago to train in Haki next.
Alex ordered the System as he said and now, he has finally traveled to Sabaody Archipelago wasting 5,000 MTP in the location of the Mangrove 70 – 79 hotel districts.
Viewing the place Alex held a proud smile as he says to himself in a confident tone, "Now then it's time for me to meet the Dark King."
