Chapter 23: Ultimate Hope

Chapter 23: Ultimate Hope

~Liam POV~

Amazing.

That was what I felt going through the whole procedure when I was obtaining all the talents of the Danganronpa world entering in my head and having the operation done on me.

But still going into the Danganronpa world was worth it because it's like Marvel getting the Super Soldier Serum except for the fact it's better in many ways.

And for the most part, wasn't hard to obtain unless through violence and isn't protected by Gods or secret organizations except for some peak humans creating a god-like character like Izuru.

Especially the luck I inherited or gained through this operation was worth the trip and troubles of going.

In Danganronpa 3: Despair Arc, when Nagito tried to shoot Izuru, the gun jammed due to Izuru's luck beating out Nagito's own and this is incredible, seeing as Nagito's own equally insane luck enables him to survive plane crashes, meteor strikes, and truck collisions, and also cause avalanches by kicking a ball and destroying entire building by pure bad luck.

Izuru luck is so potent that it can be considered a minor form of Probability manipulation something that I need whenever I go out into other dimensions because of my own powers making it a bit easier for myself.

Then again In Danganronpa 3, Izuru is described as a "deus ex machina" "god from the machine and the author Kodaka has called him a "god-mode character" and a "god-like entity" in his own world.

Especially the speed feat I need to travel around faster in foot with this body.

Should be superior to Sakura Oogami, who could travel from Japan to Prague in a second and it should go by my calculations at around Mach 26,475.22.

Another speed feat would be when Izuru was attacked by Mukuro before she could even properly defend herself and she is one of the fastest characters in the entire DR series, as she was able to continually dodge turret gunfire, and avoid point-blank explosions from Monokuma units at the last second.

And This particular feat was calculated at around Mach 10366 although an actual explosion from normal TNTs can reach speeds of Mach 20 in the anime seeing as Izuru did this rather casually, it is likely he is even faster.

Even without paying attention, evaded a bullet at the last second fired from a dying student.

Still, though having the talents of the Ultimate Martial Artist, Soldier, Swordsman, Hitman, Aikido Master, and Assassin made it easier for me to give me all the experience of fighting in my head as if I have fought countless fights.

Next came the medical talents of the Ultimate Maid, Nurse, Neurologist, Doctor, and Pharmacist would be ideal for me to learn how to heal and understand human bodies.

But the most useful for surviving and better chances would be the talents of the Ultimate Gambler, Good Luck, Adventurer, Cook, Confectioner, and Survivor.

A useful set of talents that relate to machines and technology would be the Ultimate Inventor, Blacksmith, Inventor, and Mechanic would be good since all knowledge of it would be ideal for me to understand better.

The next set is the talents meant for disguises that are good to blend into other worlds like the Ultimate Imposter, Spy, and Cosplayer allowing me to hide or play into character.

Next came the intellectual talents entering my head that are more useful Ultimate Clairvoyant, Detective, Gamer, Programmer, Animation, and Analytical Prowess.

Especially the antagonist talent Junko's Ultimate Analytical Prowess talent allows her to quickly analyze her surroundings with near superhuman speed, detailed thinking, and memorization.

This ability also allows her to learn and understand new skills and talents by just seeing/studying them once, seeing as how she was able to learn all the necessary techniques. This talent gives her an excellent ability to make very detailed plans in a short amount of time.

And they are all greatly enhanced because of a project so their skills are greatly more potent for me to use.

Good.

Glancing at my hands I can also feel myself physically stronger as I sat back and begin modifying the Laser Cutter into a Laser Gun simpler for me to use.

I mean it's easy considering that the big thing is much more hard to carry at times well…

Not anymore since I have been able to carry it with my new strength but still it's something good to have.

With all of this strength, it has been really good having these skills and greatly influenced my Esper abilities increasing the range of my Telekinesis.

Working on the leftover mechas and robot parts from the dystopian version of the Danganronpa world I began to rebuild them from scratch and break them apart.

While all of this power I got from the surgery I have been able to comprehend a lot about everything I gained through my surgery.

Numbers and plans all going along in my head that I never had much about.

Machines and technology that I never even heard of or study just etched into my very brain recall it all from scratch.

Numerous languages entered my head.

Ahh…

Is this what it feels to be the greatest humanity has to offer?

If it is…

It's boring as fuck.

I can see why Izuru saw it like this planning this much but also fun to see it all come true.

Especially all my knowledge of espionage and assassination could prove incredibly useful by a large margin.

My personal base strength has increased definitely but everything about the knowledge of the human mind and talents with them is also in my head.

This will be more useful for me in the long run of things.

All the very talents in the tips of my fingers have all the skills of humanity within me, engineering, scientist, chemistry, industry, espionage, detective, medicine, biology, robotics, programming, hacking, and more.

Oh, the possibilities and feats with this are really a lot to process.

Such gifts are really going to be useful outside its own dimension that is for sure, especially the knowledge…

Hehehe…

Now that I gained more materials and machines at the ready the next goal was what's next.

Few dimensions come to mind thinking of some ways of going but not without taking some risks.

One of them being SCP.

That is one of the few dimensions I want to go to gather the weird but useful items they have but also extremely dangerous.

The main reason why is because of one-dimensional or multiversal SCPs in that home area.

Reasons why I can't just go in guns blazing.

SCP – 001.

Scarlet King.

With my abilities, it could reach that being, and quite frankly I don't know if it's worth it going to that mess whole of monsters.

Despite the useful items they have especially their reality anchor I would put that on hold for the time being.

That and I don't want to meet a creepy dark Cthulhu-based God without getting the right gear to fight or steal from one freely.

Yeah…

Next, another one did pop up for me to easily get myself a robot or better term android army of beautiful girls.

NieR: Automata.

Stylized as NieR: Automata, is an action role-playing video game developed by Platinum Games, and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It is the second game in the NieR series.

One of the greatest ways for a mere human could practically obtain gaining a great army.

However, the one issue with that world is because of that damn virus.

The White Chlorination Syndrome, or WCS for short, is a disease caused by otherworldly particles known as maso brought into the world by the Giant.

Humans infected with the disease are forced into choosing between a pact with the God of another dimension, which would transform them into its servants - white monsters known as the Legion - or the refusal of the pact, which would turn them into statues of salt instead.

Maso or known as "magic element" is the name given to an extradimensional chemical element brought into the NieR world by the Dragon and the Giant.

The maso from the Giant caused the White Chlorination Syndrome and the creation of the world-threatening Legions and their commander, the Red Eye, while the maso from the Dragon was used to develop magic and was utilized to create weapons like No. 6.

It is also the basis of Project Gestalt, which started to preserve humanity until the removal of the Giant's maso from the world.

During the sleep of the Gestalts, the androids and the Replicants destroyed the last of the Legions and used magic to send the rest of the Giant's maso into another dimension.

My greed going there is purely really great and tempting.

However, my concerns are the issue comes with the question of would I die first before I adapt to the White Chlorination Syndrome?

Or…

I die trying without any proof I would survive this.

Both those worlds have very high risks so few rewards in the process.

Not worth it.

The reasons why are simple.

I'm so very under-prepared for those worlds and I'm lacking in serious firepower…

But…

If I were to somehow increase my adaptability somehow then those options become more available for me to gain tremendously for it.

Sadly though Nier Automata would be more likely achievable than the SCP verse.

Because SCP has more than enough eldritch gods and monsters that are too much for me to handle some cases Plague Doctor, Unkillable Lizard, Shy Guy, Dr. Bright, Abel, and more that are very dangerous.

Sigh…

Placing my hand over my head and shake it a bit what matters most now is what next?

I already gained the experience and knowledge what's left is to increase my versatility by leaps and bounds.

Realistically thinking here what I need next is to increase my overall abilities.

Or simply gain more power but that's not without some issues.

From this point onward gaining power for free won't do more without cost.

Case in point good example a devil fruit.

Get power as named and in return, you get cursed by the sea?

Want Geass powers?

Be a slave to a reality machine of mankind?

Need to learn and obtain chakra?

Go eat a chakra fruit tree or cannibalize on one of the ninja shinobi and fight space ninja alien parasites.

Need a quirk in a dystopian world of superpowers?

So sad you need to pay from one from a criminal scum bitch or perhaps be born without one and be subjugated to discrimination for it?

Want to unlock the power of your soul in a dark apocalyptic world where everything is a gun?

Great now beings of darkness wanting to kill mankind and other races?

See my point.

From this point forward I need to research and work for my powers at this point as free to easy powers are gone at this point unless you pay a cost for it.

There might be more for me just waiting but regardless

Since this is going to be difficult this time around it's better for me to start experimenting.

For that, I'm going to need some good equipment and magical items as well.

Better work on creating drones and randomly send them through dimensions in hopes of getting the right one.

I should at least create a home base in HOTD with every human dead that way no competition or concerns.

Time to start building.
