14 Chapter 14 ice wizard 2

It took some time and an explanation from Ur to stop all the confusion everyone had. After some time Ultear woke up as well, at first she was a bit rebellious but after being hugged by Ur for a few minutes made her break down.

All the boys and Gildarts looked at each other and decided collectively to get out of the house to give the girls some time, Cana also gave us a signal that she will handle it .

After getting out i began to think about the mission reward Arc of time , this was a magic that was supposed to be learned by Ultear to use to save her mother by turning back time in cannon which failed but since i changed the timeline she would not have to seek out Hades so i guess the system gave this magic so that she does not become weaker in this time line .

And the fact that the two demons who are planning to eliminate all humans , according to system i have two days to complete it so i should plan ahead . So i began to make my move .

I asked the kids about it and found out that Deliora and the other demon have been wreaking havoc for a few days and Grey had tried to go and hunt Deliora but Ur put a freezing rune that prevented him from leaving the compound huh guess the world here is different and i have not heard about runes used by ice wizards in cannon.

After some time Cana comes out and tells us that they had reached an understanding but it seems like Ur is angry at that facility for holding Ultear and experimenting on her , well because of her coming here the cannon is changed so i would have to destroy the facility someway but it looks like Ur will do it .

"so Gildarts " Ur began "you must be here for the demons right "

"yeah , do you have any info "

"well since there were two of them i was planning on staying back until they go away but since you are here and if those kids near you having an absurd amount of magic can fight we might stand a chance "

"hmm well they can fight but what's the powers of these demons "

"well deliora is pure physical strength type and the other is magma rock type "

"well then i guess we know how to divide then Karna will go with you and i will go with Cana"

"wait , i want to go too" Grey suddenly said and Lyon behind him seems to be agreeing with him

"you are both not ready yet " Ur said softly

"but he is the same age as us why can't we go with him "

"that's cause-

Ur was about to give advice that i am sure grey was going to ignore , so i thought of speeding up the process

"well if you can beat me you can come " i declared

Gildarts had a smirk, Cana had stars in her eyes and Lyon had a look of looking down on me

"alright then i will" man that' s what you call hot blooded fairy tail material didn't even think through before running towards me

I had increased my training of close combat with Gildarts and other older members of the guild so i didn't even had to materialize my bow and just pulled his fist and threw him behind

He still doesn't stop and keeps on jabbing at me and i easily sidestep him , a boon of practicing archery is increased eyesight and prediction of targets , it was not any kind of magical ability that i had , its just skills that i was able to perfect while training.

Man he's light does he really go to fight Deliora with this amount of strength i again throw him back and he falls down on the snow again .

"stop dodging and fight back " he shouted in frustration

The n suddenly he began to use ice magic and summoned a hammer that came at me , i rolled over and summoned by bow and a blunt arrow while dodging and because of having less distance , i was able to target quickly and hit his head with it

He loses orientation for a few seconds and loses his balance just a few seconds but that was enough for me i move forward quickly tackling him to the ground and points a blund arrow straight towards his head .

"i win" i said

"i can take it " he replied angrily

"i use sharpened arrow normally dude "i replied

He stops struggling and looked shocked he now finds out that the first shot would have killed him . I stood up and he stood up as well he then has a dejected look on his face and starts walking back the backyard .

"good work kid " Gildarts patted my back

"thank you for that "Ur suddenly said " if you had not done that he would not have listened "

"well i am a fairy tail wizard " i replied " handling hotheads is a daily thing for me "

Cana came near me and started congratulating me with big eyes and a smile Lyon on the other hand looks sharply at me and then follows after Gray, he must have also figured out he can't beat me .

" alright then " Gildarts suddenly said "tomorrow we will split into two teams

Me and Cana will go after the volcanic rock demon and Karna and Ur will go after Deliora "

"okay then " Ur smiled and then looked at me " I'l make sure to take care of you kid " she started rubbing my hair .

After a few hours we went to have dinner everyone was in a different mood , Ultear was clinging on to Ur tightly , Gray and Lyon were siting opposite to us

First Ultear thanked us for saving her and bringing her to her mother Ur also thanked us for it . Ultear looked shy and a bit cute while doing it and i don't know why but while thinking about it i felt like Cana was glaring at me and stopped

Well anyway can't believe that this same cute kid becomes a mass genocide maniac for Zeref in the future for some time .well looks like i must save Meredy if she is in Grimore hearts without ultear i don't know whether she will survive or not .

Well after eating everyone went to sleep , tomorrow we have to go demon hunting.
