You know… I never thought that the CYOA form I fill would become a reality, but here we are. Here I am, standing in the middle of a beach in the middle of the night. Lucky for me, the CYOA I fill is something that is rather powerful.

I enter the body of Gol D. Roger from One Piece at his peak and without his disease.

And boy, Roger is a beast. I must give it to everyone in One Piece that they have a VERY durable body and inhuman physical strength, especially someone like Roger. Roger can sink an island if he wants with only his physical strength alone. Combine it with his haki, and he can destroy the island into tiny bits.

Now, combining it with all the perks I get from the company, I become even more powerful. One of them gets me an unlimited amount of Haki. That means I can use my haki indefinitely, even when my stamina gets depleted.

Not only that, but I also can copy any fighting style I encounter. As long as I watch or fight it long enough, I can copy it. The same also applies to any art and magic that I encounter. If I have enough time to watch them, I can learn them, and as long as I have the thing that lets me learn them. Sadly, Roger did not have any magical core that let me cast magic. I will fix that when I get points from capturing targets in this world.

I shake my head and release a sigh. I cannot use my new power here because there is no one I can use it against. I opened up a gate to my new Pocket Dimension and prepared to use it in the training room, but before I could do that, I felt a shift in the world.

I activate my haki and brace myself as the thick fog begins to blanket the beach. It doesn't take long before something emerges from the mist. I can see a Galleon Ship appear from the middle of the ocean and stop on the beach. Jumping down from the ship is a ghostly human wearing a pirate outfit and holding a shadowy cutlass.

He looked around for a second before looking at me.

"Oho! Who are you, lad? Are you a citizen of this place? You know what? This is the first time I have descended into this mortal world, and I shall give you a chance. Do you want to join my crew? Davy Jones' Crew!"

I don't know why, but I start to grin at his words. I think this is Roger influencing me as I start to say.

"Sorry! But I cannot do that."

"Oh? Even the alternate choice is death?"

I take out Roger's (My) pirate hat from my pocket dimension alongside Ace (my sword) and say.

"As Pirate Captain myself, I cannot join someone else's crew."

I release a massive amount of Conqueror Haki and watch Davy Jones look at me in a new light. He releases a massive amount of energy, fighting my haki. He laughs and shouts.

"I see! Sorry! I don't know that you are a captain. However, you know what it means, right? Two captains cannot own one island."

The two of us laugh for a second, and I appear in front of him. I swing my sword with all my strength and haki. My blackened sword hit his ghostly sword and created a massive shockwave. He pushes his sword, and I jump away from him.

"Hahahaha! Good! Good! You are not bad, mortal!"

"Gwahahahaha! You are also not bad, old timer!"

I push my Armament and Conqueror Haki into my swords, create red lightning around my swords, and prepare to run at him once again. However, before I can do that, Davy Jones suddenly says.

"Come! You bungling bilge-rats, come! Straight from the locker of the abyss! Your captain calls you!"

I widen my eyes when I see skeletons and zombies wearing rotten clothes when they die. Of course! Davy Jones' locker is the place where souls that died in the sea go.

"Let's see if you can fight my crew! Fight mortals! Show me if you deserve the title of captain!"

I increase the conqueror haki to the limit and dash forward. I swing, push my haki into my sword, then swing it.

"Return to your slumber! Divine Departure!"

As I swing my swords, black-red energy waves sweep across the battlefield, destroying all the zombies and skeletons on its path. When the attack disappears, I swing my sword against anything that tries to get in my way.

When I arrive in front of Davy Jones, I swing down my weapon and see him again block it. This time, the shockwave is twice as big as the previous one, and I can see the cloud above us part away from the attack, just like in the anime.

After that, I used my leg to kick him and saw him block a haki-coated kick using his left hand. I continue to swing my sword, punch him, and kick him for five minutes while also killing all the undead along the way.

After five minutes of deadlock, Davy Jones jumps to his ship and raises more undead for me to kill.

"Tch. There are too many of them."

"Of course! The number of dead at sea is uncounted millions! Rise! Rise! All of you, Rise!"

I swing my sword and destroy as many zombies as possible in two minutes before jumping high into the sky. Garp, I shall borrow your technique.

I raise my right hand, my muscles tighten, haki flows to my right hand, and I punch the air.

"Galaxy Impact!"

A powerful shockwave comes out of my punch, surrounding an enormous area and destroying anything within its range. When I land on the ground, all of the zombies and skeletons in the area disappear. Not only that, a chunk of the ship is also gone from my attack.

I can see Davy Jones look at me with hatred for destroying his ship.

"You dare to destroy my ship."

"I don't care. You fight like a coward, and this is the result."

Davy Jones releases an angry roar and says.

"O Sword of the Abyss! Sword made of the Ancient One! Sword that is born in the deepest part of the ocean! Swords that can cut anything! Come and serve your captain!"

His sword shines for a second, and I can see the shadowy sword in his hand change into a sword made of shadow instead of a sword surrounded by shadow. I dash forward and appear in front of him, then swing my sword.

"Divine Departure!"

A crescent of black-red energy flies at Davy Jones, who swings his sword and cuts through my attack. However, after he cut my attack, I appeared before him and swung my sword. I widen my eyes when I see Ace's tip get cut off instead of our sword clash like before.

I quickly jump away and see him laughing at me.

"Your sword is no match against my Sword of Abyss, fool! Die!"

I use my Observation Haki in full force to dodge and try to counterattack. However, each time I swing my sword, he is ready to greet my sword with his own. Slowly but surely, Ace is gone, and now it is but the handle of a sword, and all of its blades are gone.

I jump far away from Davy Jones and put my sword back into my pocket dimension. It will restore Ace to its former glory, but I need to focus on the opponent in front of me for now.

"Hahahaha! Are you giving up, mortal?!"

"Gwahahahaha! Nope! I just got an idea of how to defeat you, Davy Jones!"

"Then let's see if you can defeat me!"

I charge forward with nothing but my fist as a weapon. I used my Observation Haki to the limit to see a few seconds into the future to make sure his attack did not hit me as I controlled the flow of the fight.

I dodge, punch, and kick my way through the fight before Davy Jones finally stabs my shoulder with his sword.

"Hahahaha! Die!"

I try to push the sword to my neck, but sadly for him, the One Piece character is a monster in terms of physical strength. I use all my strength to move his hand away and twist it to let his own sword stab his chest.

I grit my teeth as I feel the sword burning through my skin as I touch the shadow energy around it. I push it deeper into his heart and watch him look at me in shock. He grits his teeth and lets his body fall to the ground, letting the sword touch my chest. I hold back a scream as the pommel of the sword drills through my chest.

"I shall take you with me, mortal!"

I push as much Armament Haki as possible around my heart as Davy Jones pulls me into his embrace. Lucky for me, he went limp before the sword could destroy my heart. Sadly, the shadow energy managed to cut my heart.

As I lie on the ground, watching the stars while drowning in my own blood, I close my eyes.
