The sound of heels hitting against the ground could be heard clearly throughout the hallways. Roxana was walking hurriedly across the hallway.

This was supposed to be a day as usual. She was just supposed to go on her own way after giving Aston breakfast. Just giving breakfast and then plotting how to survive after coming back to her room. But how could things so wrong...

In his room, she coughed up blood and fainted for almost eight hours. It was five in the evening now. As she was running, her lips were roughed up after the dominating attack of Aston. She had sweat dripping from her face as her eyes were unfocused on glazy.

Tons of thoughts were roaming in her mind, and she still couldn't think how she kissed the crown prince of the Empire. Any lady out there would kill to kiss the dashing crown prince but they didn't know the truth.

She knew for sure that the reason for Aston kissing her was not because that he liked her or was attracted to her. From her observation of him, he wasn't a person who would be attracted to temporary pleasures of life, even then he remains strongly motivated which means he wants to achieve something.

He has a purpose that he must fulfil. The reason why he did it today must be because this step would help him in his purpose. The problem is that Roxana couldn't think of any goal he would want to achieve, he had everything any man might want. Today was an important day for the analysis as she couldn't see Edmund or Panem with Aston. But that damned poison acted at that moment...

She got hasty in her search for more power. 'Haste makes Waste', The quote held for this situation. And now the worst situation has happened for her. Aston has done what her father wanted. He has made a move to show his interest in her.

His hot tongue used her mouth without any reprieve. He didn't say anything to her but took her first kiss like the bastard he is. When Roxana thought of the moment, where her tongue was also reacting to Aston's tongue, the red blush on her face deepened.

She was beyond mortified and embarrassed about what had happened. He just took whatever he wanted without doing anything else, like a bandit.

'Why did I even react to him kissing me? I should have just thought that a puppet was doing this to me and stayed nonchalant. But I had to react to his advances. Ahhh...'

'I also moaned when he was kissing me. What is wrong with me? Why did him kissing me felt so good? That should be the normal pleasure stimulus, right? Yeah, that should be it.'

As these thoughts were coming to her mind, she was stopped by someone while she was walking. Her glazed eyes became clear as she could see Jeremy looking straight at her with a worried expression. His whole face and neck were damp with sweat.

He grabbed her shoulders and asked in a loud voice, "Where were you, Ana? We have been looking for you, for the past 6 hours. What happened to you?"

Hearing his loud voice, some other maids came to that location running quickly.

Roxana removed his hands from her arms and spoke to Jeremy, coldly, "Jeremy, calm down first of all... Nothing happened to me. And I was in the crown prince's room."

As soon as the 'crown prince's room' came out of her mouth, a realization dawned on the faces of the people present there.

Roxana's untidy look with unkempt hair, messed-up makeup and dishevelled dress was proof. Her blushing face with sweat and as she came out of his room after so many hours also added to the fact.

Jeremy had an expression as if his world got broken into smithereens. He asked stuttering with disbelief in his tone, "A-Ana, did y-you do that with the c-crown prince?"

Then, Roxana realized her mistake and she tried to deny it, "N-No, of course not. W-Why will we d-do that?". Though, a single image came into her mind, Aston pinning her down on his bed roughly and taking her virginity. The blush on her face deepened.

Any doubt in the minds of the people was removed after they saw her in that way. The innocent maids just bowed their heads down but they had a wide smile on their faces as they had a new topic to gossip about with their friends.

After seeing all of their expression, Roxana understood why Aston kissed her all of a sudden. He put down a trap for her and she walked into it.

An innocent fly was caught in the webs of the big, black spider...

A few days later,

"Hey, Jessica. Have you heard? Miss Roxana is a lover of the crown prince now!"

"Wait a minute, Ashley. That rumour was true? How did you get to know? I heard of it but I thought it was the maids fantasizing things again."

"Well, I got to know it from Nora. She was present there when they got to know about Miss Roxana and Aston Phoenix. They saw Miss Roxana flushed with her whole attire messed up. Apparently, she stayed in the crown prince's room for over 8 hours."

"What? 8 hours... Oh my god, my boyfriend gets tired in just half an hour."

"At least, you have a boyfriend. I don't have anyone for me. But don't they look good together? The Rose of the Agriches along with the White Knight?"

"Yes, they are perfect for each other."

So, end of the chapter. The pace of the story will be picking up now. Dion will come soon, the romance will be picked up. Aston will interact with Sierra again. And lots of things will happen again.

Sorry for the short chapter. I am tired as guests came to our house and I had to cater to them. And I am tired now.

And I will try to finish this world as soon as possible. Though it can be stretched till like 80 chapters if I put a lot of details but I am not gonna do that. Expect it to end in the 45-60 range.
