(3rd Person POV)

Edmund, the ever loyal and faithful butler of the Phoenix Family came tumbling out of the curtain of dust.

There were traces of blood on his uniform and for anyone else who would see the situation would immediately think that Edmund, one of the most powerful person alive is the one who threw up blood.

Well, it was kinda right but technically wrong...

Edmund did throw up blood but the blood on his uniform wasn't his.

The veil of dust disappeared and the other person who participated in the spar was also seen.

Aston Phoenix, the esteemed crown prince of the Phoenix Empire had a multitude of wounds on his chest. The blood was flowing continuously from his wound. It was clear to see who suffered more damage from the clash that happened just now.

His shirt had been torn into shreds and his bare chest could be seen easily by anyone. there was a deep slash on the upper part of the chest and many other wounds were also around it.

The blood was trickling down the rock-hard abs that may have as well have been crafted by god itself carefully. That body deserved the description of a Greek-God Body by everyone who saw it.

[A/N : It's not a fanfiction if you don't dedicate a few lines to the abs of your male lead. (✿^‿^)]

Edmund went flying towards a tree. His head hits the tree with a lot of force and it breaks the tree itself. And Edmund fell unconscious on the ground. The tree starts to break and in a few more moments, it would have fallen easily on Edmund.

Before the tree could fall on Edmund, Aston rushed off to him and kicked the tree away.

Aston grabbed Edmund by the collar and heaved him up his shoulder, He turned towards Panem and gave an order to him, " Panem, return back to the Agriche's Estate, We will return soon!"

Then he looked in a particular direction and smiled slightly before sprinting away...

Panem nodded vigorously as excitement was apparent on his face after seeing an amazing fight happen in front of him. He gave back a thumbs up to his lord in a childish manner.

Though, his face was flushed from the time dust settled back and the spar ended for some reason.

He turned towards the other audience nearby(at least for him) and asked her, "Miss Roxana, uh... shall we return back to the Agriche Estate? I forgot the way we came from."

He rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.

Roxana didn't reply but her shocked expression showed what was going on in her mind.

"Miss Roxana?"

She was brought out of her pondering when she heard the slightly concerned voice of Panem and said hurriedly," Yes, o-of course. Let's go, Mr Panem."

And they walked away.

(Roxana's POV)

The battle that I just viewed was eye-opening for me. Before seeing this battle, my mind had the belief that the crown prince of the Empire was strong because of the weird power he inherited from his ancestors.

I just have to find a way to curb his power and use him accordingly. He might have been nice to me when I visited him every day but I know all of that was a farce. There is no way a monster like him could ever have a nice and sweet side.

Something like that even in a dream was impossible.

So, I have been planning every day on how to either use him or at least get away from him. He will result in a disaster for all of us.

From what I saw in the past week that I visited every day, it was that he remained in his room. He didn't go out or exercise.

His serene posture and calm atmosphere around him were always there as he was reading books most of the time while his very faithful butler was always standing behind him alert and cautious.

So, I believed that the main factor in his combat abilities is his inherited ability. His physical ability might not be very good, though I didn't turn complacent and always kept the worst possible scenario in my mind.

Unfortunately, the worst possible scenario became true.

He is a monster in combat ability as well. His butler as well is a monster in his own realm. After more research on the butler of the crown prince, I found out that Edmund is the currently only surviving member of the Talos Family.

Talos Family was one of existence, It was the only vassal family that served the royal family and no other thing. They didn't have their own territory or military.

They were a noble family just for the purpose of serving the Phoenix Family.

This was done by the first king of the Empire, Edward Phoenix after recognising the efforts of his vassal, Leon Talos.

So, Edmund Talos is not to be underestimated at all.

Still, both of them went beyond my expectations and throughout the battle, the crown prince didn't use his ability. He didn't use the weapon he usually used.

His total combat ability can be absolutely ginormous. According to me, there is no other person who can rival him in a straightforward fight alone.

Even Dion would face problems while dealing with Aston. The current spar has moulded my thinking into one who has lost almost all hope.

I just need to find a way so that I would never come into his line of sight.

(3rd Person POV)

"So, Aston Phoenix and Edmund Talos fought in this way today?"

"Yes, patriarch."

Lant Agriche was viewing through the window with a cigar in his hand.

He asked, ' So, can you attack him and win?"

The head of the group that was observing Aston's fight said nervously, " I won't be able to last even a minute in front of him or Edmund."

Lant ordered, "Hmm...You can now go outside."

At that particular moment, Lant just wished.

'I just hope that Roxana can save us from him'
