Zephyrus Crew

(3rd Person POV)

Felix, Minu and June kept on meeting together after classes regularly. Their personalities didn't clash other at all.

Most people in the classroom were surprised on seeing how Minu was so comfortable with Felix. Some other people also chatted with Felix but they weren't too close, just customary talks.

They had lunch together in the cafeteria regularly. They got pretty comfortable with each other. After having conversations with them, Felix got to know that Minu was a rich kid, it was pretty easy to see since he wore branded clothes and shoes, and he always had wads of notes in his wallet. But he didn't seem too overbearing or have an arrogant attitude like those rich young masters.

Felix tried to stir this topic a bit but when he did, June had an expression which was warning him to not touch that sore point for Minu. And then he steered clear of that topic quickly.

Felix tried to see if any of them were good fighters because if they were, then it might be a good sign that he would get to meet some strong fighters.

Unfortunately, they were absolute shit. Felix challenged them to Arm Wrestling and he was absolutely disappointed as they didn't manage to put up any sort of resistance at all.

They were at the level of lackeys of Jimmy Bae which was disappointing as heck, and even then that was their innate strength, both of them didn't have a single trace of fighting experience. With their walk, their expression and their posture, they didn't show a single sign of being a fighter.

Utter disappointments.

Failure!

Anyway, even if they weren't strong, Felix didn't think much about it since Eugene wasn't a good fighter as well. Well, they must be like Eugene, right? Maybe Minu is the rich one who takes care of legal stuff and maybe June is the one who thinks with a proper mind and suggests the best choices.

That should be the case, right?

Right?!?!

After a couple of weeks, one day, Minu and June encountered Felix as they were entering school. Unexpectedly, he had come on time.

They were pretty surprised when they saw this. Usually, Felix came pretty late in comparison with Minu and June, they did not see him entering the school with the cycle and when it was after school, they just saw Felix going to the back to the school. They just figured out he goes from the other small entrance of the school.

June was going to call out Felix but Minu stopped him. He signalled a sign to be quiet and then gestured June to follow Felix discreetly.

While most of the students put their cycle beside the shed near the gate, Felix didn't. He went towards the back of the school.

Felix went there and tied up his cycle near the security room beside the gate at the back. He called out in a loud tone, "Good Morning, Mr. Jin! I am putting up my cycle here again."

Mr. Jin, who was a security guard for the school and was usually stationed at the gate at the back of the school, was in his room. He opened the window and a middle-aged man wearing a uniform with a broad smile could be seen.

He replied to Felix in a cheerful voice, "Felix, you are probably the only one who goes through here. Though, I do think why you come from the other gate and go from this gate. "

People usually didn't go through this gate as the area beyond this was of a single park, just beside Sunny High School and then long, winding alleys. No major roads, No Public Transportation. So, students and teachers usually didn't bother to go through this gate.

Felix replied, "Well, it's just some fun after school, Mr. Jin. Makes me feel a bit free to take the long way after school."

"Ah, young people. How I wish I could feel just like you do now," said Mr. Jin with a nostalgic tone. "Anyway, off you go. This is the first time I am seeing you come on time. I am sure teachers must've tired of your tardiness, it will be good for them to see you on time."

"Yeah, Mr. Jin. Have a good day!"

As Felix walked to the building, he stopped all of a sudden. Then, he looked at the corner of the building and said in a rough voice, "You two can come out."

...

Silence.

No response.

"I know both of you are there. Either you two can come out or I will come to you."

Only then, June and Minu came out of their place, as June asked while rubbing the back of his head sheepishly, "How did you know both of us were here, Felix? Are you some sort of a master at divination?"

Felix looked at both of them and then let pit a sigh of disappointment, "Well, it was just my instincts that said someone was hiding there. I just knew someone was there, a student, I didn't know it would be you two.

"Damn Felix. You got crazy ass instincts. I saw your cycle and dang, it was pretty good. It's a new one, I presume?"

Felix nodded in response.

"Yeah, could see that. Anyway, you might not know but I am in a bicycle crew. I think you can join it and ride with others. It's much better to cycle with others than doing it alone.", said Minu.

He added, "Well, only if you are not busy or have other friends to hang out with."

Felix thought for a bit in his mind and replied, "Why not? I will be able to learn about cycling much more quicker. What's the name of your crew?"

"Zephyrus Crew."
