Felix saw a white sheet of paper stuck to the side of the main frame of the bicycle.

I have mentioned all the necessary details regarding this cycle here for you. This can be used for future references if you need some new parts.

This is a cycle that I have conjured by using the best mortal materials and techniques. This is not a cycle made by any of the companies in your world. This is something that has come out unique.

The specs of this cycle are according to human standards, this is not the best cycle in the whole world but above average. You won't be winning in competitive races just by using this cycle.

It only depends upon your abilities. We look forward to your future.

Regards,

The Messenger

'Hmm... I don't understand anything about this. I should research a bit more upon this stuff later on my computer. Maybe I will understand how to do such stuff.'

He pushed that thought to the back of his mind and focused on the event of the day.

The cycle in front of him stood in a gleaming combo of red and black.

The main frame of the bike had a dash of crimson while the other parts of the cycle were coloured in a lighter shade of black.

It looked pretty normal, albeit a bit new in the morning but at night, it almost gleamed.

Both the colours were suiting each other well.

'Woah. This looks oddly cool when it's dark. Anyway, even though aesthetics will do me good, this is still pretty damn good.'

After admiring the sight for a few more moments, Felix went to the cycle and opened the lock, and pocketed the keys.

As he touched the cycle and moved it, he could feel the lightweight frame. He tried to squeeze the main frame with his grip strength and as he had been strength training for some time, he could easily feel the hardness of the material.

Carbon Fibre was usually touted to be one of the most durable and effective materials for cycles.

He walked with the cycle to one of the nearby parks, which were now illuminated by the street lights.

The area mostly seemed deserted as all of the people living nearby were holed in their homes, snuggled comfortably in their cosy blankets.

Well, not for Felix, he had been wondering for a bit if he actually knew how to ride a cycle.

He had this itchy thought in his mind that told him that he knew how to ride it before he forgot everything about his first life.

He was in some sort of dilemma about whether he could ride it or not. Well, it's not like he can do anything, he needs to ride it or well, he must say bye-bye to his soul, because those beings may just stomp his soul to nothingness.

He held the cycle from its bars and kept it up straight.

Without much pondering, he hopped on the bicycle saddle and put his feet on the flat pedals, and pushed them with his legs.

Felix was just blindly doing whatever he thought was fine.

It could have been the wrong way and by seeing that he hadn't worn any protective gear or helmet and was cycling for possibly the first time on gravel.

Gravel that can easily injure a person if someone falls on it.

Pedalling...

Pedalling...

Pedalling...

When Felix started to pedal, his whole form wobbled and he almost kissed the ground, apparently, he put too much force on the pedal and the cycle accelerated slightly more than Felix wanted it to.

Whoo...

Felix felt the wind brush his face as he tried to slow down his pace by pressing the brakes a couple of times for a short moment in succession.

While he was riding this, Felix understood how broken the cycling talent gift he was given.

He could feel the cycle as if it was a part of his own body, instinctively he was able to find the right balance, he was able to judge at what points he needs to press the brakes.

He could feel his body adapting to the conditions of this cycle on its own, and this was the first time this ability could be felt.

If this ability was improved just like his other two were, he would be a monster in the cycling arena.

Even a month focused just on this ability would do wonders, the opportunities were limitless in this field.

Felix had a wide, crazed smile on his face as he was gliding in the park.

He had an uncanny obsession to improve his physical skills. He would go to a lot of extreme lengths to do such stuff. Maybe it was wired into his head by an event...

There was some sort of unknown motivation that pushed Felix to improve his physical skills, he always thought why he went to such lengths for training himself.

No normal person has that much amount of dedication regarding training themselves, practising for hours and hours almost every day was borderline insane.

Felix tried to laze around deliberately but he felt an emotion that had no reason to have.

Guilt.

He felt guilty as he lazed on a couch. While playing with his friends or wasting time with them was probably fine, because the emotion of guilt was masked by several other positive feelings.

It used to feel as if a part of his conscience was screaming at him to train himself and get stronger.

Stronger by just a bit...

As he was occupied in thoughts, he didn't realize there was a small sunken hole in front of him.

His cycle that was moving at a pleasant speed just felt a sudden shock as the front wheels got stuck in the hole.

And as the cycle fell to the ground, Felix fell along with it.

If he was in his usual state of mind, he would have quickly stopped himself from falling due to his insane instincts.

As a part of his elbow go lt scraped, Felix had made up his mind.

Before this moment, he was still considering something like this useless.

What can cycling do to him improving his strength?

But the feeling when he cycled was something else, he could already imagine how he would be able to improve his fighting skills.

And then he stood up with a grin and picked up the cycle again.

Now, to try out some other stuff, and do it with one of his favourite methods - Hit and Trial!

(End of the Chapter)

Guys, I think I know why there aren't many fanfics of Wind Breaker.

It's because it's so fu**ing tough for the author to write about cycling.

How the heck do you make cycling interesting...

Tbh, I am just dreading the races. How will I even write that stuff to make it seem exciting...

Well, that's for the future.
