Chapter 49 Naming Records

A Red Sun is just an official descriptive term.

In his memory, red suns existed on Superman's home planet Krypton. It was a huge star emitting red light. Under its radiation, the Kryptonians' physique was not much different from that of a normal human.

So why did the Kryptonians become the invulnerable Superman with heat vision and other powers when they came to Earth?

This has to start with the Kryptonians' physique. Kryptonians are a race born with superpowers, as can be seen from the legend of Krypton's god Rao. However, unlike other superhumans, the Kryptonians' superpowers evolved according to the radiation of the stars.

How could an aging sun about to reach the "end of its life" provide energy to the people of Krypton? Thus, under the radiation of the red sun, the entire Krypton, including the Kryptonians, was affected and became a planet without superpowers.

Although it has existed for a very long time, compared to other stars, this yellow sun can be said to be in its "prime", emitting tremendous amounts of energy.

Unlike the Earth's 'creatures' who were irradiated by this energy from the very beginning, when the Kryptonians came here, this radiation with huge amounts of energy would instantly activate the superpower genes in their bodies and awaken them step by step according to the sequence, allowing them to obtain the powers originally present in their genes.

However, Austin still remembered in his memories that there were several records in the comics of Superman resisting Kryptonite. Although this was related to Superman's origin and Krypton's god Rao, it had to be said that the Red Sun could only be considered a means against the Kryptonians, not an instant kill.

In the eyes of most people, the red and yellow suns were more like the on/off switch for Superman's superpowers. But Austin knew that in addition to these two stars, blue suns, neutron stars, and even quasi-stellar objects carrying huge amounts of radiation could bring tremendous enhancements to the Kryptonians, making them almost invulnerable.

Austin was not sure whether those could be used as his future judgment on the Kryptonians, after all, the physiques of Kryptonians were different in different universes. For example, some Kryptonians would lose their superpowers when irradiated by a yellow sun, and so on.

This was also what Austin was more worried about, because he was not sure that all his judgments were correct. And the best way to resolve the matter at hand was to try it out personally as much as possible.

"Name it?" Austin paused for a moment. Looking at the huge database, Austin suddenly realized that he should indeed give them names and classifications, so that querying in the future would be more convenient.

After thinking about it, Austin said, "Name the universe from before as Ruins Universe, and name the detected target node as Zod's Tomb."

Then Austin thought of something else and continued, "Also, change the code name of my current universe to Flashpoint Universe No. 1, and record my current time node as Origin Engine."

"Okay,[Ruins Universe] and [Flashpoint Universe No. 1] have been named. All records are being integrated, do you want spatial transition now?" Miss Minutes sounded a little impatient.
