Crimson Breeze

Even Vulcane, the one dubbed as the Great Crimson God, couldn't avoid the passage of time. Every one of his wives died due to old age, leaving him with only two undying Vampires. Having enough with his life, he decided to meet with the Universe Administrator to talk about the reincarnation program they had been doing. Where dead youth from whatever planets could live a second life, fulfilling their unfulfilled life. Without a system, he was reincarnated to the new Universe. --| Hehe |-- Discord: https://discord.gg/zmxBZmdqrH --| Hehe |--

Chapter 58 - Point Blank Shots

uhh yeah, I disappeared as usual.

But this time, it was because I had a Final Exam coming up. So, I haven't written anything other than this chapter that had been getting dusted in the drive.

I won't be back for another week because of it, so yeah, as usual.

"Beoui, Grow." Ascendere mumbled to himself.

When everyone was confused as to what might happen next, the bamboo in his hand vibrated as he swung it without moving closer to his target. Even then, something such as moving wasn't necessary when the weapon could just grow longer.

Indeed, the normal-looking bamboo grew longer at an explosive speed catching Snipe off guard when he just blinked to realize that the bamboo tip was already a meter away from him. Fortunately, he was quick enough to dodge, although not quick enough to be unscathed.

Snipe stood there glancing at his attack while covering a chunk of his missing left shoulder.

"You dodged that?" Ascendere was quite surprised that he dodged Beoui.

"Who wouldn't be able to dodge that slow bamboo?" Snipe sneered, even though inside he knew well that both of them couldn't win this fight.

"Cope all you want, but we know the two of you will not win this." Ascendere laughed at the weak attempt of angering him to stall for time.

Then, instead of engaging in meaningless activities such as throwing insults at each other. Ascendere easily swung his already long bamboo, targeting the same place as before.

*BAM!*

Before he could understand what happened, the bamboo that he just swung suddenly broke into pieces the moment it made contact with something. On the other end of the bamboo was Izuku who activated his quirk to the max and punched the bamboo to pieces.

"Teach, can you move?" Izuku asked as he readied himself for another attack.

*cracka-Bam!*

Ascendere swung his bamboo once again in sheer annoyance only for his bamboo to break to pieces once again. Realizing that this just got even more annoying than he could've predicted, his grin grew even wider knowing that his target just appeared by himself.

Like before, he snapped one of the bamboos that restrained Ectoplasm and dual-wielded the two sword-length bamboo. Just for this occasion, he stopped using his overgrown bamboo and made himself a comfortable sword-bamboo for himself.

"Which would break first? My bamboo or your hands?'" Ascendere exclaimed, noticing the weird bruise that appeared on the entirety of Izuku's arm after blocking his bamboo.

"Battle of attrition is it? Then I'm made for it." Kirishima appeared in front of Izuku, bashing the two of his knuckles against each other.

Ascendere raised his nonexistent left eyebrow seeing the boy who had his body coated in some sort of transparent stone, looking at the sharp edges protruding from all over his body.

However, he couldn't be more delighted to fight even more as he wanted to know how strong he had gotten since being reborn into this godly body a few days ago.

At the same time, the other boys of class 1-A started walking forward one by one getting ready to fight the bamboo. Being the few people who were safe from Kenjiki's abduction, the previously rowdy class had become quite smaller.

"I mean, helping the teacher is good and all, but are we sure that we can win?" Mineta muttered to the side while keeping a firm stance.

"I'm thankful for the gesture, but the safety of my students is my priority." Snipe spoke as he pulled Izuku and Kirishima to put him away at the back so as to not involve anyone other than the adults and Lemillion.

Snipe stood in front of the students and held one of his revolvers using his right hand. Obviously couldn't dual-wield the revolvers with part of his left shoulder missing.

"You again? Bummer." Ascendere scoffed when he saw him coming up to fight him. Knowing well that a fight with someone injured wouldn't give him any kind of satisfaction. What's more, he couldn't properly use one of his arms which halved his strength. "I'll kill you before I'm going to play with them."

*bang bang bang*

Numerous gunshots deafened the dome as Snipe didn't wait for the enemy to attack and initiated the battle by emptying one of his revolvers and switching to the other one which then he also emptied.

But all of that seemed to be useless as Ascendere once again disappeared and reappeared behind Snipe with both of his bamboos ready to strike.

*bam!*

*crack*

Ascendere's bamboo body cracked because the bullets he thought had dodged suddenly swerved and went straight for his body. With holes decorating his body, and cracks splitting his body apart

However, before he got completely cracked to pieces. He swung both of his bamboos as fast as he could while expecting something to block the attacks. And his expectation was right because Izuku appeared on the left side and threw a punch at the bamboo, while Kirishima was responsible to protect the right side.

But what they didn't expect was that the bamboos were fragile, too fragile. These bamboos seemed to be unfit for attack to which they realized something crucial. Ascendere could manipulate the length of his bamboo at will, to which they looked back and saw the worst possible outcome.

Snipe was stabbed on both his right and left arm, completely rendering them unusable. But he wouldn't go down without a fight as he forced both of his hands to pick up a revolver each and emptied them point blank.

"This should've been enough to do it." Snipe groaned as his body lost all of its strength, allowing the gravity to pull him down.

*pah*

Right before his body touched the ground, Izuku caught the body and carried him to safety as they performed first aid on him.

The students who were busy watching the fight from the side finally approached them the moment that the threat had finally turned into dust. They crowded Snipe as the students who had healing quirk activated all of their quirk at once.

But all they could do was to stop the bleeding, as the injury was too much for them to heal completely. Even Recovery Girl couldn't do much as the patient himself didn't have any strength left to be used.

At the same time, the teachers who had just finished dealing with the snake lady finally arrived to the rescue, though it seemed that everything had been taken care of.

"What's the situation?" Nezu asked Recovery Girl who was bandaging the holes.

"The monster here had been taken care of, but not without casualties." Recovery explained what had happened here, from how Lemillion had stalled for so much time until the teachers came to help.

"It seems that we have to end this summer camp early." Nezu looked at Lemillion who was bleeding from the bruises he got. "Take care of them, I'll be announcing something in a minute."

Nezu tapped Aizawa's shoulders telling him to go somewhere inside the dome where they could talk. The teachers and pussy cats also noticed that he was calling for them.

"Call for any transportation available, because we're going back now. It has become too dangerous to continue this." Nezu voiced his thoughts, to which everyone agreed very easily.

With just that, everyone brought their phone out and started calling anyone that's still available to pick them up. While Nezu was still on Aizawa's shoulder went to gather every student to announce the news.

As expected, everyone too accepted the news with ease. Because they simply didn't want to deal with those monsters they knew couldn't do anything to any more.

"We'll be departing in an hour at the least, so tidy up and bag up everything you've brought here." Nezu spoke, as he looked at the students leaving for their living quarters.

"You didn't die from that? Impressive." Nagant stood in front of a newly grown bamboo with a grin. "I know someone who'd like to know you."
