Chapter 41 - “I’m here to meet her.”

Sorry for the sudden unannounced hiatus.

I will be starting to write again, although I won't be uploading daily because of school.

"Welp, I've overestimated all of you guys it seems." Kenjiki glanced at the groaning heroes who were easily beaten by a Dragon-level monster despite having an advantage in number.

Kenjiki then looked at the Deep Sea King as they engaged in a staring contest in which the other party tried to deduce the reason why a human child could still be calm in front of him.

"R-run." Midnight groaned with all her might as her heart sank when she saw that one of her students had come.

"Nah, it's not necessary." Kyoka poured her mana and used it to pick everyone up. She looked around the area and noticed a fallen tree. "Sit there."

The heroes suddenly felt that their bodies seemed to be shackled by an invisible force that they had experienced before with Kenjiki throwing them out of their living quarters.

Once they sat down on the log, they regained their bodily control once again. But they didn't seem to care about it as they put all of their focus on the sight of two figures staring at each other.

While they were unable to comprehend what was happening in front of them. The Deep Sea King lightly stomped as he vanished leaving a dent in the sand that still hadn't reacted when he suddenly appeared beside Kenjiki launching a punch straight onto his head.

*Bang*

A loud explosion as his fist collided against something he thought to be Kenjiki's head. Because, to his surprise, a hand had blocked the attack easily as he heard a yawn.

"Right, monsters do use their fist." Kenjiki grabbed the huge green hand and launched Deep Sea King high into the sky with ease. "I misjudged this world's strength and became too strong. Well, that's if we exclude that bald dude."

Flying high in the sky with seemingly no sign of stopping made the bulky monster increase his guard to the maximum. Even though falling from this altitude won't affect him that much, he's more wary of the child that could throw him here.

As if to answer his thought. Kenjiki instantly appeared below him and planted his palm on the monster's stomach letting the mana pour directly into its body.

Right now, rather than just pouring a huge amount of mana to overwhelm his enemy. Kenjiki concentrated the mana in the chest and expanded the mana at a high speed causing Deep Sea King to seemingly explode because he couldn't keep up with the speed of the mana expansion.

"Alright, let's go down." Kenjiki grabbed a piece of green meat and cranked his wings at full speed.

*Bang*

*Swoosh*

Kenjiki landed on the sand and because of the sheer speed of his flight. A sand tsunami was created and covered a huge area of the forest with sand except for the heroes who were protected by Kyoka.

Once the sand had calmed down, he approached the bystanders who didn't know what had happened.

"The threat is gone. You guys should take care of your students." Kenjiki spoke as he stored the green meat into The Door.

"Are you really our student?" Midnight couldn't help but blurt out her thoughts.

"Yes, why?" Kenjiki chuckled seeing her reaction.

"What's someone of your caliber doing here? You already had your license." Midnight wanted to confirm a piece of information that she had unintentionally eavesdropped.

"Her." Kenjiki pointed at Kyoka who had already stood by his side. "I'm here to meet her."

Midnight sighed, unable to comprehend the fact that a stereotype about geniuses having insane minds was actually right and not just some groundless rumor that people came up with just because.

They continued to talk with Pixie-Bob being the lead as she thought that she had hit the jackpot with marking him beforehand and wanted to deepen the mark with someone like him.

Inside the room that was being used to contain Orochi's sealed head and now the Deep Sea King. Shenhe placed some talisman around the meat so that it would be dormant until it was needed.

Other than Shenhe, there was another woman who was looking from behind with a confused face, not knowing what she was looking at with how bizarre the two objects looked.

One of them was a stone head that seemed to be beheaded for a statue with how ragged the neck part was, and now there was a weirdly glowy green meat that had scales growing on it until the talisman was placed down.

"What are these supposed to be?" Mirko tried to touch the stone head but was blocked by an invisible barrier.

"Unused Lifebloods. Master doesn't really need them and decided to keep them for future use." Shenhe then explained briefly what a Lifeblood was when she noticed Mirko's confused expression.

"There's such a thing?" Mirko couldn't believe what she had heard, because it basically meant that soul was real.

Mirko had been living here for quite some time since the time Kenjiki had left her in Shenhe's care. At first, she was going to occasionally come here when possible, but when she heard and realized that time flows faster in Schlattimus, she immediately decided to spend weeks here.

This other world was literally the perfect place for her to exercise with the amount of beasts that roamed the forest and the sea. Even though she couldn't fight against the strongest one yet, the weaker ones were more than enough for her.

As a result, she had spent a week living inside Shenhe's cave abode that seemed to have anything even though the aesthetics were quite old-timey for her.

The core memory of her while living here was when they took a bath together, and that's when Shenhe stripped her clothes before pulling out literal wooden poles from both of her holes.

If not for the shape and the detail of those objects, she would actually think of them as a wooden pole. They were dildos she had been using the whole time she was meditating, which confused Mirko as to whether she would be frightened or impressed.

Bidding farewell to her new friend, Mirko entered the door and disappeared from the islands.

Ryukyu heard the thud and looked toward the source to see something weird. She blinked and brushed her eyes, wanting to confirm if her eyes were playing with her or not.
