Chapter 37 - Confrontation

A day after the assault, all of the students were told to gather in a big opening in the forest that was specifically made to be flat by Pixie-Bob to contain every student.

From the first grade to the third grade, all of them stood watching Aizawa explaining something about a multi-purpose watch that they had to wear until the last day of the camp.

Confused, some of the students lightly tapped the screen of the watch as Aizawa had instructed. With a weak beep, a blue hologram appeared in front of their eyes.

"Who made this?!" Kaminari shouted in disbelief looking at the hologram watch that usually only exists in movies.

"Here it says NP, but I have never heard of them before." A classmate of his said while looking at the bottom side of the watch that had none of those watch scribbles and instead just 'NP'.

Aside from the unknown manufacturer, they had nothing against something that they had fantasized having after watching those sci-fi movies that had hologram watches in them.

On the other hand, Midnight who was responsible for the second grader was frowning because she had a watch left but no one had come forward to take them.

'Someone is missing.' Midnight approached Aizawa and whispered to him.

Aizawa turned his head and looked at her as if wanting to confirm whether what he heard just now was true or not. He wished that he had heard it wrong, but Midnight repeated the sentence once again causing his heart to sink.

But instead of panicking which would cause the students to panic too, he kept calm and explained that they should continue their quirk training while waiting for the event that they had prepared.

The students who heard his words just sighed in exhaustion and left for their living quarters to change their uniforms. While Aizawa was explaining about the situation to the oblivious teachers and the pussy team.

Hearing his explanation, Manday frowned and looked at one of her colleagues.

"Ragdoll, can you search for the student?" Mandalay asked, looking at the yellow-themed cat.

Ragdoll walked forward and activated her quirk; Search, a quirk that allowed her to monitor the whole forest by herself and kept an eye on every student.

Even then, her quirk couldn't find anyone other than the students who had just gone back to their living quarters. Expanding her reach even more, she still couldn't find anything suspicious other than an empty van that was parked near the cliff.

"Do you have the name of the student and their appearance? My quirk would work better with the target's name and appearance." The woman asked, maintaining her quirk to monitor any suspicious behavior.

She was a young woman of medium height with long, emerald green hair and big round yellow eyes that were almost always open all the way, with three small eyelashes located toward the top of each eye. As a part of her costume, she had pink marks on her cheeks that resembled whiskers and a pink circle around her right eye.

"Dominique S." Midnight said, looking at the only name on her list that hadn't been checked out.

The abbreviation confused her, but she didn't have any time to ask about it and searched for the name in her database of a memory about a student called Dominique but all she could find was the last location of the student.

It was weird because although she didn't use her quirk to directly monitor everyone to know about their real-time situation, her memory should automatically store what they had been doing by itself. But the fact that Dominique suddenly disappeared out of nowhere shocked her.

Upon closer inspection, she noticed that her last recorded body posture was weird as if she was being choked by someone. Racking her brain for anyone who might be in the area at the time, she noticed a huge number of students also gathered there before leaving at the same time.

Leaving only two students there, other than Dominique it was a student by the name of Kenjiki Shinketsu.

The bizarre scenario of a first grader choking a second grader flooded her mind, but at some point, the two of them disappeared after passing through something she could only describe as glitches in reality.

"I don't know how to explain this, but.." Ragdoll started to explain everything she had seen to the shock of everyone.

"He did what?!" Aizawa blurted in surprise, although he knew that Kenjiki was someone that's unrestrained but choking an upperclassman wasn't the thing he had expected him to do.

"Can we do anything about him?" Midnight asked as she looked at the watch on her wrist.

"There's no other choice." Nezu understood what she meant, but attacking a fellow student wasn't something they could turn a blind eye to.

Once everyone had digested the information, they had no other choice than to go to the 1-S living quarters to confront him about it.

Upon arriving in front of their destination, they were greeted by an unknown woman who stood in front of the door with her eyes closed. But as if she was waiting for their arrival, she opened her eyes.

"Master is waiting for you inside." Shenhe opened the doors and went inside.

They were caught off guard by her words that implied Kenjiki had known about their arrival before. But then again, Nagant Agency probably had planted a spy function in the watch that she gave them for free.

"Ah, hello there. Do you want to know about Dominique's whereabouts?" Kenjiki greeted them with a wide smile.

"Yes. Do you know anything?" Aizawa stood in front of the table, facing Kenjiki who was surrounded by women.

With Kenjiki who was flaunting his smile at the center and Kyoka was to his right, to his left was a purple-haired woman they had never seen before and was probably an outsider to their school.

"Well, I sure do know. She's in my mansion back home." Kenjiki shrugged while saying some heinous shit with a smile.

"Are you aware that what you're doing right now is illegal?" Midnight came forward and spoke with an aggressive tone.

"I want to ask. Is kidnapping a monster illegal?" Kenjiki retorted back, causing them to fall into silence.

"That's a different matter, we're talking about our student here." Midnight was confused as to why he asked that.

Midnight aggressively confronted him, as she was the one that's responsible for monitoring the second year and if she was to lose one of her students under her supervision, she would be blamed for it nonstop.

On the other hand, Kenjiki just laughed before he turned on the tablet that was lying on the table. On the screen was a picture of a blond-haired woman having her body tied shut by rope over her school uniform. It was Dominique S that Kenjiki had abducted.

The moment they saw the picture, Aizawa tightened his scarf and readied himself to attack Kenjiki but was stopped by Nezu who had his eyes plastered on the tablet the whole time.

"It's not our student, look at her eyes and mouth." Nezu tapped Aizawa's shoulder, stopping his attack.

Upon closer inspection, Aizawa noticed the exaggeratedly wide bloody mouth and the black sclera that made Dominique inhumane. If it was just that, then they wouldn't stop their attack towards Kenjiki. Instead, it was the numerous katana that stabbed her stomach and she still lived.

"What do you think?" Kenjiki looked at him but was caught off guard when Midnight tried to swipe left. "You just had to see that, didn't you?"

Kenjiki sighed when he saw Midnight's distorted face upon seeing something she wasn't supposed to. It was a picture where Dominique had all of her holes filled with a bunch of dildos that were the replica of his dick.

Other than Midnight who had only seen the picture for a millisecond but could discern what the picture was, the other teacher fortunately had their focus on Nezu who was explaining things.

"Anyway, she's mine now. Oh, she could hypnotist someone, so check up on the people that are responsible for her." Kenjiki turned the tablet off and handed it to Ei.

"Hypnotist?" Ragdoll muttered, remembering about the students who were also at the scene when Kenjiki had abducted Dominique.

It finally made sense to her, those guys were probably under her hypnotist remembering how dull their eyes and movements were. Using her quirk, she checked on them and noticed that they acted more normally than before albeit they looked tired.

"Then how do you think we should handle this?" Nezu directly asked him, the culprit for a solution.

"Sweep them under the rug, don't ever mention her anymore."
