Chapter 10 - A New Hero Program

Even though the crisis had passed so suddenly and quickly, the aftermath wasn't the same with the amount of collateral damage that the stadium and civilians had tanked.

In the time when the Intelligent Nomu was mindlessly attacking, quite the amount of people died due to them not being able to react in time.

All kinds of negative news was going around the TV and Internet, with most of them shitting on U.A. and the Heroes present about how useless they're at handling one Villain.

It's even worse for U.A. who were blamed for having such bad security that on such an event that a group of Villain could break their way into the stadium.

[What are those Heroes even doing?]

[Where were All Might the whole time?]

[The Heroes had been slacking off lately that one Villain could fight against a hundred Heroes at the same time.]

Such thoughts were being thrown around the place.

Coupled with the fact that civilians died in this disaster. Of course this was normal in a Villain attack, but the fact that with those Heroes were watching the event and someone died with them going around protecting people.

This became worse when people remembered that not long ago that class 1-A was attacked by a group of Villains resulting in a few students being injured.

"Things are quite bad for them, aren't it? Even Heroes were getting those digital spits." Kenjiki watched the news that seemingly never ever stopped talking about Sports Festival Attack.

"It's inevitable if I might say, with All For One getting into the mess that's the Hero Society." Nagant gave the TV he was watching a scornful laugh.

They were lazing around in the office of a building Nagant had bought beforehand with the money she extorted from some agency.

On the sofa was Kenjiki who was lying on his back watching the TV, while Nagant was sitting at her desk doing some menial paperwork.

"Well I suppose it got us to blame." Kenjiki laughed as he remembered what they had done to All For One while being in another country.

Electrifying a building worth of Nomu on a base in America, foiling All For One deal with local overlords, killed every subordinate that he had, all kinds of petty things because AFO had experimented on one of the Half-Vampire below him.

He continued to watch TV until U.A. press conference had started.

There were three people on the TV, with the white humanoid white mouse in the middle and Aizawa on the right side. On the left side were All Might.

"On behalf of U.A. we'd like to apologize due to our negligence on our security on the roof side of our stadium, which is where the Villain had come from using some sort of teleportation quirk." The mouse said with a bow.

This short sentence of his had instantly shut most of the reporters who had come with the thought of getting a gotcha moment.

"That doesn't excuse you for failing to prevent such things from happening in the first place. The fact that the place where we put our trust in nurturing our future isn't safe from a frontal assault of Villains is the issue here." A reporter said, regaining the moment of the reporters.

"We obviously had reflected on that issue. But if we want to take absolute measures on the safety of our students, then we have to restrict our students' freedom and that's impossible to do for obvious reasons." Aizawa bowed as he said that.

"There's no need for absolute safety, it's the fact that such direct attacks were unable to be handled without any death is the bigger issue." The reporter continued his frontal assault before turning his body towards All Might. "What's your excuse for your absence, All Might?"

All Might stood up and looked at the reporter in silence.

With a sigh, he explained about the Warp Gate that had trapped him which also may be the one that teleported the Villains directly into the school's grounds. After being caught by the Warp Gate, he was ambushed by tens of Nomu that took him a lot of time to defeat.

In fact, he couldn't defeat all of the Nomu in time before being teleported back to the stadium. But something better be untold lest he caused panic.

The reporter looked at All Might with an alarmed expression.

An organization that called themselves the 'League of Villain' had come to mind for being able to command Nomu to attack USJ previously.

"If what you said is true, then what's the Heroes going to do to defeat the Villains?" The reporter cranked back his assault as he noticed that defaming the Heroes when a crisis was near wasn't the best thing to do.

"Worry not! Because nurturing the students is our utmost priority, and so because of that we had decided to create a program. Where outstanding students are allowed to take an exam that if they pass, they can directly become a Hero." All Might explained.

The reporters were shocked beyond belief, as this was quite the change from the previous slow climbing to become a Hero.

This announcement also surprised Kenjiki who was watching the news with one of his eyes closed.

"They're desperate aren't they? Did those artificials Halfie Nomu scared them that much?" Kenjiki applauded their courage in taking such drastic measures. "Well, not my problem."

"Even if you say so, you're definitely their first choice to join the program." Nagant spoke.

The requirement for the program was for the students to have a Provisional Hero License, which could only be obtained by passing another exam.

"This world is full of exams isn't it?" Kenjiki seemingly regretted his decision going into a Hero school with all of those future Exams he had to take.

Over regulated society such as this had to be doing just anything to prevent anyone outside the higher circle from obtaining a huge influence over people.

While giving any of their dirty works to their subordinate, and disposing of the same subordinate if something that could threaten them arise.

"Enough of this." Kenjiki sighed in frustration of the first world he just had to reincarnate to, when he noticed Nagant suddenly got up from her seat with a full Vampire transformation. "Ah, it's time for your daily blood feed."

Without saying anything, Nagant climbed on top of Kenjiki's body and sat on his lap while brandishing her sharp teeth.

He relaxed his whole body except for the rod that even god couldn't relax.

Nagant smirked, noticing the bulge that threatened to pierce her crotch. She licked his neck and sunk her teeth to his neck before proceeding to suck out a lot of blood.
