27 Chapter 27- Heist

It was dark in the night, and the oil rig had very strict security. There were spotlights lighting around, men walking around carrying guns.

Gin got up in the ship he was following and waited until they arrived at the oil rig, he then noticed that there were a lot of ships in front, all of them carrying a lot of containers.

And he also noticed that the ships were being checked one by one, he knew he couldn't stay at the ship for very long.

Gin continued looking around until he suddenly heard a buzzing sound in his ears, he felt irritated with the buzzing sound so he slapped his ears and the buzzing sound disappeared.

But the moment buzzing sounds disappeared, it was replaced by a sweet female voice.

"Gin, can you hear me? I repeat can you hear me"

Gin was surprised with the voices and touched his ears and there he found something strapped in his ears.

Gin didn't know who it was but assuming that the voice knew who he was he replied.

"Yes, I hear you"

"Its in!"

The voice on the other side cheered before she returned back to normal.

"This is Jessie, Gin, you are now entering the Mechanica Scrap Yard, the security is very strict and the moment you get caught they will immediately shoot you, I will help you go into the Scrap Yard and tell you the positions of the guards and do your mission, do you copy?"

After the female spoke, a floating panel appeared in Gin's vision.

[Enter the scrap yard and steal 20 pieces of scraps(0/20)]

Seeing this, Gin couldn't help but get excited, a heist at the start of the game! And to top it off, he didn't have a single weapon and his body is a lot weaker than his original body.

"Okay let's do this!"

Gin replied with excitement.

"Good, I will now brief you about how you will enter the scrap yard, currently, there are 4 ships in front of you and it will take about 20 minutes to check up a ship, you will use this time to search the ship you currently in for anything you can use to blend in with the workers, or you can search for gears that you can use to sneak in"

Hearing this, Gin nodded and started moving immediately, the ship is quite big and there were about 20 workers in the ship. His target was the ship bridge or the worker quarters.

Gin then sneaked inside using the huge containers as a cover to avoid anyone seeing him, soon he arrived at the entrance and saw two workers smoking and chatting with each other just near the door.

Seeing this, Gin squinted his eyes before picking up a pebble near him before throwing it to just at the side of the entrance.

*Bang!

There was a loud sound from that and it immediately caught the attention of the two workers, the two workers were startled by the sound and went to check it.

The moment they turned, Gin immediately rushed to the entrance while avoiding being seen, and soth the distraction, he easily entered the building.

"Great! You have entered, you still have an hour left, good luck"

Once he entered the building, Gin heard Jessie's voice and nodded when he was reminded with the time remaining.

Gin then strode inside the place, with his experience, he easily avoided being caught by anyone and the first place he entered was the kitchen, it was empty.

Seeing this Gin moved fast and took a knife and some rations for himself, he also took some clothes and a bandana to cover his face.

Gin didn't change his clothes immediately and continued exploring inside, soon, he already went around the whole place and unfortunately, there were no weapons that could be found.

It seems like ships are not allowed to carry weapons, or maybe it was in the last room he hasn't entered yet which is the bridge or the control room.

Gin could hear that there was a person inside but that person was asleep as he heard loud snores.

Gin then slowly entered inside and slowly approached the sleeping guy before he hit the guy at the head that made the poor guy faint.

Once Gin was done, he immediately searched around the place and soon found the armory, but it was locked and there was no key that can be found.

It was probably with the captain, after knowing this, Gin gave up with the armory as he heard there was only one ship in front remaining, he then continued looking around and soon found a scuba equipment and a pistol with a silencer.

Gin didn't know how to use the gun or the scuba equipment but the moment he touched it, knowledge of how to use these things appeared in his head.

And without hesitation, he used decided to use the scuba equipment.

"Great! You found a scuba equipment, you can use those to swim under and enter through the entrance at the north, there is only a single guard there, you can silently eliminate them"

Jessie's voice rang in his ears, Gin then got out of the bridge and soon arrived at the end of the ship before wearing the scuba equipment and jumping to the sea.

Gin swap under the sea and followed the guide jessie was giving and soon arrived at the north entrance.

It was a ladder with a small platform at the end, there was a single guard there with a guard.

Seeing this, Gin slowly closed the distance with the guard and the moment he was under the unsuspecting guard, he pulled the guys legs and then slammed the guards head on the ground before climbing immediately and giving the guard a blow on the head making him faint.

"Good, that guy will probably be out for a few hours, you can make him do a pose so that if someone sees him, they wont suspect"

Following Jessie's suggestion, Gin made the unconscious guard stand on the railing of the platform and made him looking like he was smoking.

After he was done, Gin climbed the ladder and finally entered the oil rig or known as Scrap Yard.

"..."

Yes, missions are different by country they choose, while New Tokyork is more like picking up scraps and infiltration, Euromika is more of a professional thief gameplay with much more intense missions.

Though the rewards were no different, if players wanted more challenges, they can choose different countries as other countries have different challenges.

Cryd didn't really have any purpose for this, he just wanted different gameplay for every country or else he would find it boring if it were all the same.

How can players find it fun if the developer did not find it fun?

That's just stupid, anyway, back to the present, Cryd was actually quite surprised with Gin's choice choosing Euromika, but he didn't really care about it that much.

Players are after all different in game and in real life, he then curiously watched Gin play and as expected of a experience warrior and even dubbed as the White Shaksha to have this kind of skills.

He then looked at Shinobu and Kazuma and saw Shinobu finally started making the blueprint of her robot while Kazuma is making a miniature robot, he still havent finished his workshop.

Anyway, a few hours passed since his new customer's game and if he calculated correctly, its been a week in the game already.

"But the 4th and 5th aren't here yet, I wonder who they will be?"

Cryd murmured to himself, he then looked at the time, it was already 5 in the morning, he checked his schedule and other than enrolling at his new school, there weren't any important things, he didn't really need to go to school in person to enroll but his grandfather wanted him to go since the principal/director there is a friend of his father.

Cryd didn't mind, he then checked the time he would go and it was after lunch so he still has a lot of time.

After waiting for a while and having no signs of a new customer, Cryd sighed before entering the VR pod once again to continue playing.

"..."

Gin ventured inside the scrap yard carefully, Jessie was monitoring the guards and telling him whenever someone is near him and he would immediately take cover if there is one.

Gin didn't notice but due to adrenaline rush, a smile was plastered on his face as he kept going forward.

It didn't take long for him to reach the warehouse where Jessie said Good scraps could be found.

Entering the warehouse, Gin found a lot of crates and opening one, he found a lot of scraps inside but he frowned after seeing the scrap qualities.

Jessie said these scraps are enough to earn him hundreds of thousands of credits but Gin didn't go here just to get low quality scraps and so he asked Jessie where better scraps could be found.

And Jessie replied the scraps quality will get better if he ventures deeper at the center of the scrap yard but the deeper he goes, the more dangerous it becomes.

Hearing this, Gin didn't hesitate and decided to enter deeper into the scrap yard, Gin wanted more challenge.

If Cryd sees this he would surely click his tongue and know that Gin is a soul player.
