Chapter 9

How rude of me, My name is Tanaka, I'm the owner of this shop, welcome Luffy," Tanaka said.

"Hmm, Did I just hear Luffy?" Toriko and Goku turned towards the door and saw Tanaka talking with Luffy.

"Hey Luffy!" they called out to him.

"Hmm?" Luffy looked at their direction, "OH! Toriko, Goku!" he ran towards them, Tanaka didn't say anything and just followed after him, he then noticed Beerus was battling other pokemon.

"Tanaka! Give Luffy something to eat!" Goku called out to him.

"Coming right up, what do you want to eat Luffy? You can order a single dish. It's on the house today," Tanaka said.

"Only one? That's too small, but I'll take Meat! All I want is Meat!" Luffy said.

"Coming right up," Tanaka went towards the kitchen.

"It's been a while since I saw you guys, how are you?" Luffy asked.

"I'm fine, I am going to fight strong enemies soon," Goku said.

"I'm still looking to complete my palate," Toriko said.

"Haha, that's good," Luffy said.

They happily talked to each other and told their own stories and adventures to each other, it was like a long time friend meeting each other again, and it also maybe a coincidence for them to meet from past their timelines.

Tanaka didn't say anything and would sometimes glance at the 3 popular anime characters and would get really happy, it was already happiness to meet an anime character but to meet multiple of them, what is the feeling?

If he could show this to the whole world that would be very fun, rub it to their faces that you are meeting these famous characters though no one will believe him and literally these characters do not exist in his new world.

He sighed in defeat, maybe his system could do something about it.

'Then it's not impossible,' he changed his mind in one fall of swoop, Tanaka was now cooking a food Crispy Pata originating from Filipino cuisine, Crispy pata is a Filipino dish consisting of deep fried pig trotters or knuckles served with a soy-vinegar dip.

There are two major processes involved in making crispy pata. It involves boiling and deep-frying the pork leg. Boiling is necessary to tenderize the meat. It also helps make the skin crunchy when fried. Deep-frying completes the dish and provides a nice crisp texture. I don't think that I need to elaborate more, Tanaka also added his secret recipe which he won't ever share.

Tanaka put the Crispy Pata on a plate and served it to Luffy, the trio who were so absorbed in talking stopped and sniffed the air, they all looked towards the kitchen and saw Tanaka carrying the crispy pata, they drooled unconsciously and stared at the meat.

"Here you go," Tanaka served it to Luffy.

"Awesome! It looks extremely delicious!" Luffy exclaimed.

"T-Tanaka! Can I also have this?" Goku asked, Toriko didn't ask but he also wanted to taste it.

"Yes, the price is 5 Shop coins," Tanaka said.

"Shop coins?" they asked.

"Yeah, it's our shop's currency, you can exchange your money to the money exchanger machine," Tanaka pointed at the currency exchanger.

"Okay," Toriko and Goku immediately ran off, Komatsu also followed along.

"What? 100 Yen is 1 Shop coin? It's so cheap!" Toriko exclaimed, he immediately exchanged 10 shop coins.

"It's the same 100 Zeni as 1 Shop coin," Goku said. He then exchanged 5 shop coins.

A few moments later, Tanaka served them a plate of Crispy Pata, "itadakimasu" both of them yelled and dived on the food, on the other Luffy had already finished eating his and his tummy had a bulge, he took a toothpick and picked his teeth.

"I'm so full!" Luffy said.

"Glad you liked it," Tanaka said and cleaned his table.

"So what is this place Tanaka?" Luffy asked.

"I'm sure you won't get it even if I explained everything but I will keep it simple, there is a chance you will meet Ace in this place," Tanaka  said.

Luffy turned serious and looked at him, "Don't joke around Tanaka, there is no way for the dead to return," he lowered his head.

"Believe me or not, but if one day you meet him again, you will understand what I said," Tanaka returned to the kitchen.

 "Yeah," Luffy whispered, he then  stood up from his seat, "Goku, Toriko, I will go now, I will see you again later, " Luffy said his farewells.

"Just come here again if you have a chance," Goku said.

"Yeah," Toriko nodded at him.

Luffy nodded and  walked away, he was quiet and was thinking of something, just then the door opened with a slam.

*Bam!

"What is this place?" A man half naked also wearing a straw hat, he looks young but these features are extremely familiar to Luffy, he froze at his position and only stared at the young man standing in front of him.

This man noticed Luffy and was also surprised, "Yo Luffy, how have you been?" he greeted him.

Luffy didn't say anything and just rushed towards the man with tears falling from his eyes, he jumped towards the man and yelled "Ace!" Luffy hugged Ace crying so much, Ace was surprised, it looks like something happened to Luffy.

Ace smiled and caressed Luffy's head with a smile, "There, there, you're still a cry baby," Ace said.

Tanaka didn't miss this chance and his eyes glowed, and in a very swift manner he took out his phone and took multiple pictures, after he didn't barge on their reunion, he knows what happened to One Piece story and this Luffy who came into his shop already knows the death of Ace.
