46 Chapter 42
Tanaka marched forward as he made his way towards the battle tower.
He had carried only little armor and tools with him, incase that the glitch wont work, the lost would only be a little.
A few minutes later, he reached the battle tower, it looked extremely gigantic and ancient like, it has this charm of the old relics that could be found in museums.
He first inspected the surroundings and found the best place to collect blocks he would need to climb the tower.
He took out a stone shovel and started collecting dirt around him, after that, he aligned himself where the chests on the tower and started stacking up.
*Tak!

Tanaka steadily climbed up the tower, he ignored the 1st and 2nd floor since he was sure, there was no good loots from the chests there and when he reached the 3rd floor, he took out his stone pickaxe and made a hole.
*Crack!
A hole appeared and Tanaka was able to see inside, mobs roaming inside and they seemed to not have noticed him yet, well even if they do, they wont be able to reach him.
He tried to open the chest without opening it and it worked! a floating panel appeared in front of him, inside where plenty of items and Tanaka picked the things that were useful.
After that, he continued climbing and ran sacking every chests on each floor until he reached the top.
Standing on there was a 2 meter tall silver golem with a single gem shining on its one eye.
Tanaka took a deep breath and took out a fishing pole.
"Hope this works"
Tanaka then threw the fishing string and it flew in an arc and reached the golem.
*Swoosh!
Tanaka felt very nervous as he saw the string landed on the golem.
*Tak!
The string landed and Tanaka was ready to jump any second if the golem showed any reaction but a few seconds later, nothing happened.
Tanaka sighed in relief and got excited, he started doing the glitch, he hooked the golem 6 times before taking out a bow and going down a little bit before firing an arrow.
*Swoosh!
*Tak!
*Roar!
The golem roared as it was sent flying to another land unable to protect its tower and could only look at the figure who sent it flying but it wont go away without a fight..
Tanaka was about to jump on the tower when the golems eye started to shine bright and a laser beam came out and was aimed towards Tanaka.
"Shi-"
*Boom!
The beam landed on the tower creating a loud explosion, it didnt deal any damage or destruction to the tower but Tanaka was sent flying away and almost died.
Thankfully, Tanaka was able to hold on the edge of the tower with little 3 hearts left.
Tanaka sighed in relief and got back on his feet, he then opened the chest and took everything inside, he found tons experience potions and immediately used it for himself.
He is not definitely owing everything, he just need to get strong first so everyone will have an easy time.
Tanaka put everything on his defense and some on his attack and then left the tower.
He safely got home after that and gave everyone the loots he got.

Somewhere not too far away from the tower, Boruto and his group were curiously looking around, they were able to play the game late because of their school, anyways, they rushed on the cafe as soon as their classes were finished.
They just spawned on a forest and was curious and look around the place, they were able to adapt on the game faster than the others and were picking up stones and sticks.
"We just need flint, where can we get that?"
"It says we could get it from a gravel, but where could we find that?"
"Don't you guys study? we could find those at the river or something"
"Oh, that is good, lets go!"
"Huh? what is that?"
Shikadai looked up at the sky and was surprised to see a dot on the sky slowly getting bigger
"A bird?"
"Maybe a fly?"

They then heard a roar from the distance and a few moments later, they noticed it was neither of what they thought.
It was a goddamn golem!
*Boom!
The golem fell to the ground creating a loud explosion destroying things around it.
Everyone was able to get away from the last minute but they got injured and lost hearts.
*Roar!
"What is that?"
"I dont know, but guys look! its health is low!"
Everyone turned towards it and saw it only had a few hp left.
"Lets kill it!"
Boruto was the first to charge forward and punch the golem, everyone also charged forward.
The golem got enraged and its eye shone brightly.
*Boom!
[You Died]
It took a single attack to kill them all and lost all of the items they had collected, they are now once again back to zero.
A few moments later, they revived on a random spot, it was the desert.
"What the hell was that!?"
"It was too strong, lets not fight it when we met one"
"Yeah"
"Huh? another one flying"
*Roar!
"Its a dragon!"
*Fwoosh!
Flames devoured everyone of them.

They respawned once again.
They were respawned on the ocean.
They then heard a beautiful singing voice that lured them towards it and unconsiouosly they followed the voice.
They saw two half human half fish singing on top of a boulder and as they got closer, the mermaids stopped singing and their eyes turned red.
"Ahhh!"

Their worst nightmare happened inside a game, not just them but all of the players who had died many times had experienced all of this and was now on the brink of insanity.
