Suppressing my emotions that were building up, I attacked with my spear with the intent to kill.

And Scathach parried it. I knew only one of us would walk out of this battle.

Scathach spun her spear and attacked me on my side. Blocking that attack, we were in a stalemate, but until i activated blood control on her arm, which cause the her arm and spear to flinch.

Using this chance, I forced the spear on her arm, which made an opening. Kicking her rib, she dispersed most of the force by taking a step back.

with a gesture of her hand, she created a rune in the air, which created a powerful fire magic heading towards me.

'Full Counter.'

Countering the attack back to Scathach. Amd she made another rune which boosted her magic resistance.

She used this chance to attack me as I couldn't initiate an attack during this skill. Baely managed to take a step back. Scathach managed to slice my stomach, and I couldn't heal this thanks to her.

'Gáe Bolg Alternative.' I thought before dodging another attack.

I spun my spear, ignoring the pain I attacked her with multiple slashes.

Scathach dodged the slashes as she knew that if she tried to block them, it would just go through her spear and only attack her.

Attacking Scathach with a slash after slash with graceful footwork, spinning my spear and attacking her with a spatial slash, then spinning around to do a sweep and a spspear upward.

Scathach managed to dodge all this except the last attack, which slashed her shoulder even though the spear didn't touch her.

Ignoring her injury, she continued to attack, and I the same.

This continued for hours, We were both heavily injured as I couldn't heal myself except taking the recovering gourd, but Scathach wouldn't let me.

Scathach was also injured as I used every skill, techniques and items I've collected over the years.

" Huff! Huff! Let's Huff! Get this, Huff! over with!"

Scathach:" I Huff! was thinking, Huff! the same thing!!"

' She's going to use her full strength!' I thought as I got ready.

' Spear art: Tenth Form: 'Noble Phantom!!'

The white spear, Faith's fall, turned golden, and as I stabbed it towards Scathach, it left a golden trail behind.

Scathach:" Gáe Bolg Alternative: Soaring Spear of Piercing Death."

With my one remaining eye, I saw Scathach slashing the air as she activated her noble phantasm.

Locking me in the air as she slashed the surrounding space, I controlled the space to resist and controlled every cell in my body to use Life Force to the fullest.

Scathach was about to throw her spear. But I managed to break free and continued to thrust my spear as it broke the surrounding space that tried to hold me down in the air.

Falling down as Scathach held her spear in a throwing motion, I could tell she was going to use her full strength. I heard that could peirce through anything.

With a large amount of life force, I pump into the spear and hit into Scathachs' Gáe Bolg it decimated the surrounding terrain. The mountains, hills, and the ground were blown away.

With a gentle smile, Scathach held onto my cheek. Surprised, I saw my spear peirce through her heart. Regret, sadness, and denial filled me but were pushed down by gamers' minds.

Taking the spear out and dropping it to the ground.

I held Scathach on the back of her head as I tried to stop the bleeding.

" Nononono..."

Scathach:" Yuto! remember what you said that night? About us meeting in another life. Do you think we'll be able to?"

Passing for a second, I answered.

" Yeah. I'm sure we will." I spoke as I tried to give her a smile but failed.

Scathach:" It's alright, Yuto, though I am a bit surprise that you managed to kill me."

I tried to heal her with the life force and Healing jutsu.

" H.. here, take this!!"

I took out the Phoenix potion but was stopped.

Scathach:" I.. don't....t..think i...it..." Before she could finish, she began to weaken.

Trying others gave her the potion but failed as she was unresponsive, deciding to give the potion through mouth. I put the potion to my lips and held it in my mouth before kissing Scathach.

As I put the potion into her mouth, I pulled back, looking for any reaction. Seeing none, I felt hopeless.

" Pleaseworkpleaseworkpleasework."

Holding her hand, I began to try to shake her awake. but nothing comes up, filled with despair. All I could do was stinthere with my head down.

* Drip drip*

Tears fell down onto her body as I just sat there in silence. The memories of our time together, her smile, her touches, warmth, and her strict training.

The Gamers mind with all its power couldn't stop the love I had for her, the pain I felt that ripped my heart apart. My regeneration, even as it warmed me with its healing factor, couldn't stop the cold feeling of her hands. The clothes as it fixed itself couldn't stop the winds seeping through her heart.

Her heart that wouldn't beat for me, that she gave me with all her affection and love. Silence was what I was left with. No music could make her heart beat again.

Only the sounds of my anguish as I held her in my arms. The chains that held her here were of no more as her soul escaped to freedom.

I wish this reality wad but an illusion, and the illusion of our future together was real.

A chant had appeared in my head.

' Reality Marble.' I thought as I began to feel hope.

I chanted the words that appeared in my head with conviction, hope, and love.

"Reality is an illusion, and illusion is reality.

Control those I can not.

And just like that, the surroundings changed as it took me into different planes, Seeing the stars in the night sky again, and the water below us, but we weren't falling into it as we stood on it.

I recognized this place to be the same where I met God. But it must be a different plane.

Hurriedly grabbing Scathach, I began to think about reviving Scathach. The wound on her heart healed immediately. But she wasn't waking up.

I heard her heat beat once more, and the warmth came as I held her hand. But no signs of her waking up. I watched over her for hours.

Hours passed, I kept an eye on Scathach, and she managed to finally open her eyes.

Confusion filled her eyes as she recognized me.

Scathach:" Y..yuto!!?"

" Scathach!" I smiled at her, filled with so much happiness. I hugged her and cried on her shoulder as she was still lying on the ground.

Scatahch:" H..how?"

Scatahch:" Yuto? Yuto??"

I fell asleep on her shoulder as I was too tired.

Before I closed my eyes, I heard Iris.

Before I could hear the rest, I fell asleep.

( Scathach Pov )

' You idiot.' I thought as I put Yuto on the bed.

I felt the chains that held me here were gone. I looked at Yuto, I didn't know what he did otlr the power he had manifested, but I was alive. I accepted that fact once I felt Yuto warmth once more.

After that place fell, we were released back to where me and Yuto fought, and I took Yuto back here.

Liz;" What happened to Yuto?"

Smiling gently at Liz, I spoke.

" Training."

Liz:" Ooh!! Uh huh!!" She nodded.

Looking back at Yuto, I felt the mana inside of him was depleted. And I'm sure that small dragon inside of him was trying to refill it.

" I love you, Yuto." I spoke as I brushed his hair again. I kept an eye on him until he was able to recover.
