3 CH3: Yokai Academy

The girl's head smacked into mine, going about 80mph, just enough to break the skin without doing much more. I felt a hard thunk to my head as pink hair fell around my face like a curtain blocking out the cawing crows. My hand moved on its own, securing her rear and pulling her closer to my chest. This girl was beautiful, a complete 10/10 from the firmness of her ass to her face. Her green eyes were something else; green was one of my favorite colors.

"Oh, I'm sorry, let me help you." She pulled a handkerchief from out of nowhere then her eyes glazed over. "The scent of blood." She leaned into me. "I lose control when I smell that scent."

I tried to move, but her grip on me was too strong; I couldn't overpower her with my normal strength. My qi enhancement increased. "It's just, I'm a vampire." She leaned in a bit my neck.

My mind blanked out as I prepared to destroy something beautiful with my fists. Qi enhancement took over as I pushed myself forward. Even as her teeth were buried in my neck, I forced myself into a sitting position. Tsukune stood frozen like a deer in headlights. Not that I would want his help; I couldn't trust him anymore.

She nuzzled in closer as she drank greedily from my neck. I gathered my qi and prepared to force her away until she stopped and licked my neck. Then she fell asleep on my chest like it was the most natural thing to do after randomly biting a stranger. I continued to grip her ass only to feel my fingers brush against something a bit softer.

My head felt like it was stuffed with cotton, and I wanted her badly. But I wasn't going to have sex with her without permission. I was raised better than that in my second life, and I would make it work this time. This one would be loyal, I was sure of it.

"Um, do you need help."

"Not from you."

Tsukune opened his mouth to protest, but a look from me stopped him. My little brother sighed and stepped to the side of the road. "Why didn't you dodge the bike? It's faint, but she feels like the,"

"Don't talk about it here. I don't trust that we're alone."

"She came on to me; it wasn't my fault."

"Maybe, but that doesn't mean I have to like it."

A yawn drew my attention back to the vampire girl. "Sorry, your blood is the best I've ever had. I'm Moka Akashiya; let's be friends."

I sighed and stood up. "I could use a friend. I'm Arakan Aono and that's my twin Tsukune. We're first years here because we didn't bother studying for our high school exams."

"What are you? I've never had blood like that; my body tingles all over."

"I'm,"

Tsukune jumped in. "Don't say it; we aren't allowed to; it's in the brochure."

"Right, sorry about that. Moka, you said you were a vampire as in you hate crosses and garlic."

"Er, um, so do you hate vampires," Moka said.

"I don't know about vampires, but I like you." Moka blushed, and I did a mental fist thrust of victory. She set me up for the perfect lines.

"What about you, Tsukune?

"No, I wouldn't say that! I mean, vampires are pretty unique. You must be pretty strong to hold down my brother, or he wasn't trying too hard." Tsukune said.

"I'm not that strong-most of; my powers are sealed thanks to this rosary. Without it, I would be a super scary vampire."

I shrugged and scooped her up bridal style. Despite her earlier strength, she weighed less than a feather to me now. "We must get to orientation, or we'll be late."

With a bit of qi enhancement, I charged for the gates. Tsukune followed beside me, running all out. He really should up his training; he already looked winded.

"Wow, you are pretty strong, even outside your monster form, and fast too. Are you a werewolf?" Moka sniffed the air, then shook her head. "No, a werewolf stinks like a wet dog, and their blood is gross. An oni, but your youki isn't that strong, and your blood tastes too good." Moka said.

Dust flew up in a cloud behind me, and human skulls decorated the ground around us. "I don't like the look of this place," Tsukune said.

"Then turn around and take the bus back. No, I won't work at McRonalds for the rest of my life." Tsukune said before pulling a carrot out of his pocket and taking a bite.

"Are you werelupine? I heard those were rare."

"Nope, sorry, Tsukune likes to snack all day," I said.

"My brother is an awesome gardener; you should try a pie made from the monster blueberry bush back home. Dad calls it the food of closers." Tsukune said.

"There is a lot of space around here; maybe I can join a gardening club or something," I said as we made it just in time.

"I need to go check in with the headmaster; go ahead without me. I hope we end up in the same homeroom." Moka said.

"Even if we don't, let's meet up afterward and hang out just the two of us. I can't let you get anemic again; who knows who you'll run over next." I glanced over at Tsukune, hoping to get the message across.

"I need to get some training in anyway. apparently, my endurance isn't up to par." Tsukune said, and I gave him the, we're good again look.

"Ok, maybe we can swing by later and hang out together. Training alone is no fun." Moka said.

"Maybe we'll take the rosary off so you can show us how it's done," I said, and Moka giggled.

We made out way to our homeroom as the class started filling up. I saw a cosplaying teacher standing before the class, ready to give the first lecture. If I hadn't met Moka earlier, I would have been sure she was just a human who liked to get freaky. Some of the students looked sketchy at best. Many looked like they had down syndrome or were fishmen straight from Lovecraft. Seeing them all in their disguises made my blood heat up. I could smell a fight in the air, and I loved it.

Once everyone had quieted down, the teacher began to speak. "Hello everyone, welcome to Youkai Academy." After those words, I zoned out, only hearing that this was a school for monsters. Then some idiot started talking about eating humans.

"Hey, teacher, would it not be better for us to eat up those puny humans."

The teacher didn't even try to reply. So, I only remembered some of what she said. "Incidentally, there are no humans here, only monsters." Seeing how there aren't more humans here, I was sure we were let in as an experiment. Maybe our goal was to meet the monsters halfway or something like that.

There was a commotion in the room, and I barely noticed until Moka jumped me. "It's Arakan; I'm glad we're in homeroom together." She nuzzled my neck a little longer than was needed. "I thought I smelled you in here."

I turned my attention to the loudest eyes on me. The guy who mouthed off about eating humans before. All monsters gave off a sliver of the power the dark being possessed. Moka had much more power than others, and Saizou had an extremely tiny portion. He was weaker than our blueberry plant.

Saizo PL11

That wasn't very impressive. Finally, Tsukune left while Moka grabbed my arm. "Let's explore this place." Moka cheered.

We made it out into the hallway, and Moka showed all the enthusiasm of a kid in a candy shop. "Look at this hallway; isn't it a cool hallway."

The man-eater from class approached us. He stood a head taller than me and closed one eye when he spoke. "You're Moka Akashiya, are you not? Well, I'm your classmate Saizou Komiya salutations."

I blinked and stared at him like he was a chimp that suddenly learned to speak. "Moka, it knows big words." Saizou's eyes twitched.

"Are you making fun of me, Saizou Komiya, your classmate who just greeted Moka with salutations? Why are you associating yourself with an uncouth man like himself? He is weak."

Saizou reached a handout. I grabbed it and threw him on reflex. Just in case, I enhanced my qi with the throw and slammed him hard against the floor.

The monster looked up at me in surprise before narrowing his eyes. "Don't you see Moka? He is a ruffian who can't be trusted. All I did was reach out with a hand of friendship, and he threw me with it. Do you really trust someone like that with your virtue? If he's ever done anything to make you doubt him, then you must come with me; I can protect you."

Saizou's mouth continued to flap as I debated crushing his throat with my knee. Finally, I turned to Moka, who seemed unsure of herself. She walked up to me and grabbed my hand before pulling me away from the conflict. I thought about being stubborn, but I had nothing to gain and everything to lose from resisting.

We stopped in a stairwell out of prying eyes. "Sorry about that, Moka; when someone that big tried to grab me, I reacted. Did I scare you?"

Moka raised an eyebrow. "I've seen Saizou's type before. He wants to get between us, but it's too late. We're already on blood-sucking turns. I'm so charged with energy I've never felt anything like it from transfusion packs. I can't even compare it to what I've had before." She blushed and looked away. "I'm not going to let someone play the victim to get between us."

"For some reason, I feel empathy for our blueberry plant monster."

Moka blushed. "You're the first person whose body I've fed from Arakan. I'll never forget our first time."

I snorted. "I'm glad I popped your vampire cherry."

She pushed me up against a wall giggling. "Stop, you're embarrassing me," Moka said.
