52 Service Contract

Celestine wasn't surprised by the fact that this man knew her name, it only added to the mysteriousness of this place.

Right now the man, who introduced himself as Alex, was guiding her into his shop, another surprise, the store is much bigger than she originally thought, what she saw before was just a fraction of the place.

"I mentioned before that this place is a shop, it's not just any shop, but a shop that sells everything, with the right amount of price." Alex did a U-turn and faced her once more. "When I say everything, I mean literally. Every single problem in your world would be solved with the right price."

That made her pause, and then the shopkeeper continued his speech. "So, Celestine Lucross, are you willing to pay for the salvation of your country, the people, and the entire world?"

It wasn't even a question to her, as she already had her answer. "Yes, even if it means selling my soul, my life, my everything for my people's salvation. I wouldn't hesitate."

Celestine and Alex were looking at each other eye to eye, and eventually, Alex averted his gaze away from hers and chuckled for a bit.

"You are a very fine woman, Celestine but you don't have to go that far. Honestly, saving your people is a simple matter, in fact, I'd like to offer you my assistance in exchange for your divinity. Would you like to accept my offer?" Alex gave her a hand, which she didn't even hesitate.

And with that, a contract was formed between them.

"Very well, the contract is formed and I shall assist you to save your people from the clutches of the Black Dogs."

Celestine suddenly felt the divine aspect of her was taken away from her, as she never felt so mortal in her life, but rather than feeling powerless, she felt so…so free, like she was freed from her responsibility, free from her divine domain.

Ignoring that for now, she bowed her head to the man in front of her and replied. "Please my people from doom."

Alex, however, waved his hand at her and said. "You don't have to do that, you paid for my service that's why I'm more than happy to do that, so when shall we start?"

"Right now," Celestine answered without hesitation.

Alex smirked at her declaration and replied. "That is exactly why I like you."

Celestine was fluttered by that compliment because it wasn't shallow like the Black Dogs.

It definitely affected her, however, it was not the time for that, for now, she still has a country to save!

'Alicia, Prim, Lulu, Maia, Kaguya, Claudia, and Olga, wait for me, for I shall save all of you without exception!' With that a face filled with determination and hope appeared.

I honestly didn't think it would work, originally my plan was for her to convert her [ Divinity ] in the shop, however, I decided to try something within the last second.

It was to form a contract service with her, [ Service Contract ] is something briefly remembered from Blake's explanation about the shop, as the owner of the shop. I can form service contracts with customers.

They request something from me, and I'll do it for them as long as I'm capable of achieving the job and of course, a reward for me doing the specific task.

The difference between [ Converting] and [ Service Contract ] is that, unlike the former, where I could only get 50% of the profit of what they buy in the ship catalog, and then the latter where I get the 100% of the total price, although it's still unconverted.

But if I choose to do so, then I'd get the full price of the product rather than the 50% of it.

Right now, in my shop inventory is where the fragment of Celestine divinity was being kept, and I'll probably convert it into points rather than using it myself.

The problem with Celestine divinity is that not only it's weak, but it's also only just a fragment of the real thing, not to mention most divinity had this compatibility problem.

If you're incompatible with certain aspects of that divinity, it would harm you rather than helping you, not to mention it would try to influence you with its domain.

For example, Celestine's divinity domain is light, meaning if I were to use it, surely I would be incompatible with it because I'm the farthest thing from being holy, and that divinity domain would try to influence myself and would make me change, not only my personality but also ideals.

If that happens, it would no longer be 'me', which I would never allow to happen, that's why if I wanted a divinity. I would rather have a divinity that doesn't have any formed domain aspect so that I could groom it and eventually form a domain that is most compatible with me.

Anyway, now I have a job to accomplish, it would be a lie to say that I wasn't excited because this would be my first job that I willingly participated in, the 'hunts' with Lorelei were completely filled with reluctance as I participated.

However, right now it's different because I'm certainly going to enjoy wiping Vault and the rest of the Black Dogs.

"Well, Celestine if you please?" I opened the shop door, understanding what I meant she went toward the portal and naturally I followed after her.

This is going to be my first official Isekai adventure, my current world doesn't count.

Now, it's time to show the dogs the consequences of their actions.

He wasn't sure what to think of his newly gained father, he couldn't get a proper grasp on him yet as he only knew him for a single day, but for sure he knows that his current life father is a decent person because he's willing to take responsibility and pay for child support.

Aqua was sure that his father was an asshole at first because he wasn't there when Ai gave birth to them, he was her personal Doctor, and that's why he knows, however, his first impression of his now biological father is wrong, the reason why he wasn't with Ai when she was carrying him and his twin, is because he simply doesn't know of their existence.

He couldn't blame the man for being with Ai, because he simply had no idea that he had them.

Now that he did, he immediately acted and took responsibility without hesitation after confirming that they were his.

Another thing about his new father is that he's a foreigner, which wasn't really bad, besides he already had some suspicion before that his biological father isn't japanese but british.

Not only was he British, but an aristocrat!

Meaning, he got royal blood flowing right into his veins, honestly, he wasn't sure what to think about that, either way, it's only of the surprising things that he learned from his biological father, not only he was an aristocrat but also rich, not just normal rich but super rich!

Aqua wasn't sure of the total value of his biological father's assets, but if he heard correctly it's billions.

Not in yen, but in sterling dollars, and that's more than the value of u.s dollar!

That massive amount of money is enough to buy a country if his father wanted to, but he didn't and instead, he stayed in this typical japanese house, and knowing that he has a massive amount of cash, he is an odd person that's for sure.

A normal rich person would no doubt own a mansion and be filled with expensive items, but his biological father is different, he stayed in this humble house, where it isn't rich or poor.

Either way, this still beats being in that apartment, as this house was definitely bigger than their apartment, he certainly wasn't complaining at all.

It's also great to know that Ai had something to carry off her burden, that's why the previous dislike of his biological father completely vanished as received a thumbs up in his book.

Although he can't say the same for his twin sister, who is also a reincarnated person like him, ever since the arrival of their father, she became rather irritably illogical lately.

Aqua could understand why she dislikes him for taking Ai's attention from them, but she's being completely unreasonable as their biological father tries to be good for them, yet Ruby doesn't seem to appreciate that gesture.

She should just be happy that their father is a decent person, not an asshole who wouldn't take responsibility after creating life with Ai!

Anyway, the very next day their father's biological sister arrived, honestly he had never been intimidated by a person she just met, there's just this oppressive atmosphere that she was generating, it kind of reminds him of meeting the hospital director, but a hundred times more tense.

However, that tension was quickly forgotten as their biological father, elder sister Lorelei, despite how cold she may appear, her actions were very gentle toward them.

Like their father, she also gives them advice even though they're still toddlers. Does this pair of siblings doesn't know that ordinary toddlers of their age can't understand their advice?

But then again, they weren't normal to begin with, so that's why he listened, however unlike her brother, Lorelei's Japanese isn't perfect but at least he could understand.

Later he would know that Lorelei only learned japanese for only a week, if he knew that right now he would be in complete shock as that learning capability would be considered monstrous.

Also unlike their biological father, Ruby seemed to like Lorelei, which is kind of unfair.

'Don't worry father, I'll be at your side this time.' It's more of an obligation than actually liking him.

Either way, now that their father is in the picture he wondered if their last name would eventually be replaced.

Aquamarine Barthomeloi….

'Hm, it actually sounds better than Hoshino.' Aquamarine thought.

Looking at the atmosphere of his family right now, he couldn't help but smile, maybe with their father here life wouldn't be as hard for Ai.

He could only hope…
