Anyway, as for other questions I'd like to ask other than defeating this ridiculous being. I asked.

'Is there a way to obtain the First True Magic without consequences to me and the others around me?'

Again, I wasn't expecting good news, but I did which was definitely shocking.

Compared to path number 1, path two is a very long and complicated process, I knew all the details, conditions, and exact time, to obtain the First True Magic.

Either way, the fact that there's 17 ways to obtain the First True Magic without consequences was something I definitely did not expect.

Suddenly an excited smile appeared on my face, how could I not? In front of me, there's a chance to obtain the True First Magic without consequences.

D noticed my excited smile and asked. "Care to share your thoughts?"

Immediately I shifted my gaze toward D, the distaste I had for her before has now completely disappeared.

"Say, I want to obtain the First True Magic, will you help me?" I asked her straight forward without a lie, as the path mentioned it is pointless to lie since she'll definitely know, manipulating her is no good either, as she's someone who has millions of years of experience manipulating people, obviously she'd immediately know if someone is trying to manipulate her.

That's why, I have to tell her honestly and straightforwardly, and her reaction was definitely interesting.

She has a look of surprise on her face, this was the first time I have seen her look surprised about anything actually, and right now I'm engraving that look in my mind because I know this is going to be as rare as a needle in a haystack.

Although it quickly disappeared as soon as it did. "We're you always this straightforward?"

"No, but since you asked me for my thoughts I decided to hell you," I replied a bit too bluntly.

"Hm…I never expect you to ask me for such a thing, I'm pretty sure you're not the type to pursue something like that, perhaps I read you wrong." D muttered while raising one of her eyebrows.

"I'm not, it's just I know you're capable of helping me get the First True Magic, so I decided why not ask for your help?" I said while putting both hands on my back.

"Indeed that's true," D admitted it like it was not a big deal.

To say that I wasn't speechless was a lie, to D obtaining one of the true magic is a calk walk, but to me and the others who are part of the moonlit world, it takes more than luck and time to obtain True Magic.

Maybe I should stop using the magus common sense on D because it's useless to apply it to her, let's just pretend that what she's capable of is completely normal and nothing special.

Yes, I can definitely do that because I'm also not 'normal' anymore since like her I could also obtain anything with a bit of effort thanks to the shop, soon the impossible is going to be possible.

"Anyway, can you help me?" I needed her answer, if she won't then I'll achieve it in another way. There are 16 more ways to obtain the First True Magic, aside from paths 1 and 2 which have nothing to do with the shop, the rest is connected to the shop, like getting specific items, skills, or power.

I mean path 17 is outright telling me to go buy the First True Magic, which completely beats the point of obtaining the true magic without the shop.

D had a pondering look on her face, before smirking in my direction. "I'll help you, but with a condition."

I rolled my eyes at that, I was hoping this one is without a catch but it seems that I was asking for too much, either way, I'll hear her condition first before accepting the deal.

"Fine, what is that condition?"

D smirked as she walked closer to my spot and whispered something in my ear, and what she said definitely made my cheeks go red. "A-are you serious?"

I can't believe she told me that! Does this woman have any shame at all? No, definitely not, looking at how calm she is, it's safe to say that she doesn't have any.

"So? Your answer?" D awaited my response.

Despite how embarrassing her condition was, it was nothing compared to obtaining one of the Five True Magic.

"Alright, you shameless woman, I accept your condition. I can't believe I'm going to do this with you…" I couldn't help but mutter the last part.

D smiled even more widely at my response. "Good, now I'd help you obtain that so-called First True Magic. It's been a while since I've contacted Root-chan, but she owes me a favor, so I think it's going to be fine."

After hearing her sentence, I couldn't help but blink a couple of times before, trying to confirm what I just heard. "Excuse me? Did you just say the 'Root' the origin of everything is a 'she'? This is the first time I've heard of it!"

"Of course not, Root definitely isn't a she by all means, however every time we meet, she would always use a woman's appearance, her real form isn't something a mortal as you could comprehend, your brain would melt. Literally from an overload of information. Honestly, I don't get your magus and your ambition to reach Root, I mean meeting her would guarantee 0.000000000001% dying. It's not a real percentage number by the way it's just me saying that it's almost impossible to stay alive after getting a glimpse of her." D stated with a shrug.

Okay, I definitely didn't see it coming for the Root to take the form of a woman.

Suddenly I thought of something that made me chuckle. 'So if the Root takes the appearance of a woman, does this mean all magi in general are simps? I mean they would literally do anything to get a glimpse of the Root.'

"Is there something funny?" D asked as she crossed both of her arms together.

"No, it's just a thought anyway. So the Root takes the appearance of a woman…does the woman she represent a human or something else?"

"A human, definitely except for those inhuman eyes that make you feel exposed, even I wasn't an exception to that, either way, if I recall correctly the Root is taking the appearance of a woman named Shiki Ryougi, she existed before but now she's part of the Root.'

'Shiki Ryougi.' I thought of that name, that's definitely a familiar name. I'm sure I knew about her in my past life but I can't recall her, as most of my memories about her, specifically FATE, are mostly blurry.

It's honestly a bit annoying, it's like someone was interfering with my previous life memories of FATE, actively wanting me to forget everything about it.

Anyway, thinking further won't help, however, I'll keep that name listed in my head for now.

"Right, so when are we going to start?" I asked.

"After breakfast," D answered almost immediately.

I blinked and thought. 'It's sooner than I expected.'

Thus after that conversation, breakfast with the Gotō family started.

A/N: Shiki Ryougi had become part of the root thanks to her origin, next chapter would be about breakfast conversation and RWBY, about what happened to the 'custody' war.

After that is a meeting with the Root, and a small interlude of Mitsuha.

An unexpected customer arrived in my shop, it was the famed Queen of the Land of Shadows. Scáthach.

"So…you wanted to die?" I asked the God Slayer with a bit of doubt.

"Yes, that's my ultimate wish. You can have everything I have if you can grant it, my body, my talent, my skills, my power. Absolutely everything that my body could offer." Scáthach remained stoic all the way.

"Right, if that's what you want then who am I to stop a customer from their desire, anyway I have a perfect guy for this job." I snapped my fingers and a black-haired japanese teenager with a confused expression as to why he suddenly appeared in this place.

"Yogiri Takatou, I'm sorry for the unexpected invitation but I have someone here that desires to die, would you please kindly grant her death?" I pointed at Scáthach who was a bit skeptical of the entire thing.

However, Yorigi nodded. "If she desires death then, I will grant it. Die."

"What is this nonsen-" Without even fishing her entire sentence, her body collapsed on the floor like a puppet that had cut strings cut off from her body.

"I'm done," Yogiri said casually, like he didn't just kill an immortal woman.

"Thank you for your assistance." I bowed to him, after all, it is only natural to show respect to a being that could literally kill me with just a thought.

"S'okay, can you bring me back now?"

"Certainly." With that, I snapped my fingers and brought him back to wherever he came from.
