48 Kumoko

Not even a day, Ai and my children are now staying in my house, all I need is her permission, since I gave my word to take responsibility I did and acted right away.

Delivering all the things that Ai and the twins do from their apartment to my house is quite easy, with money you receive efficient and fast delivery.

Right now, I'm guiding Ai toward her room, as I mentioned before my house is enough for a single family to live in, there are 3 empty rooms, and I'm going to give Ai one, although I'm not sure if I'm going to give my children different rooms as separating them isn't a good idea until they're old enough.

Either way, I'll discuss their placement later after I'm done guiding Ai to her personal room.

"Is this really okay..?" Ai asked me hesitantly.

"Okay, what?" I asked while looking at her.

"For us to be here," Ai replied while looking at our children.

"Oh, of course, why wouldn't it be okay for you to be here? Look Ai, although what happened may be an accident, however, it didn't change the fact that they are my children, they are my responsibility and it's the same for you if I knew you were pregnant after we broke up. I would have been there present at the place where my children were born, I wasn't the type to run away from my responsibility especially when it involves the life of my own flesh and blood." I answered while looking her directly in the eyes.

Ai's pupils widened and suddenly averted her gaze away from mine. "I-i see…"

"If you need something, don't be afraid to ask me, I may not be perfect and lack a lot of things, but if it's something that has to do with money, don't hesitate because it's something that I don't find lacking at all, I have too many of them and they kept growing, in fact, I don't think I could spend all of them in this lifetime." As I mentioned before, I only began to realize how much money I have in my bank account lately.

It began with millions, but I kept investing in some companies that I knew would succeed in the future, thanks to my parallel world knowledge.

I didn't just invest in bitcoin, but also in facebook when it's just a starting company, google, amazon, yahoo, youtube, twitch, and many more.

My investment wasn't just limited to online, but also construction companies, phone companies, shoe companies, and car companies, and the only thing that I couldn't invest in was Microsoft.

Bill Gates exists in this dimension, too bad that Microsoft was already a big company when I was born.

I'm the definition of I own nothing, but still rich asf, as my royalties with each company are at least 10%, the biggest is 60%.

Because of that, I don't lack cash at all, each second I earn more than 5% of the total population of humanity.

"T-that's a bit…" Ai was speechless at my claim, she probably never met someone like me who is ready to spend money for her without a second thought.

"I almost forgot, this is an allowance I have for the kids this month, if you want more don't be afraid to ask me, I've already legalized everything with my lawyer so don't worry about anything, also sign here because I need your signature to complete everything." I handed the credit card to Ai and at the same time necessary documents for the child support.

Ai was about to sign, however, I stopped her before she could. "Ai, while I know that this documentation isn't anything harmful or bad for you, maybe next time if somewhere were to offer you some documentation, read it first before signing because it might be a trap contract."

It stared at her seriously, many people have been tricked by a trap contract, there's even a cruel contract that literally forced something to the point of slavery.

Ai blinked and nodded at my warning. "Of course, usually it would be the president that would take care of everything for me, so I don't have to worry about the contract at all."

Hearing that I couldn't help but recall the blonde man with sunglasses, despite his suspicious appearance, he seemed someone reliable.

"If you say so."

"By the way, mind if I ask how much money this credit card has?" Ai asked out of curiosity about anything else.

"Oh, about 100 million yen," I answered casually, it wasn't even a million pounds sterling.

While that amount was nothing to me, it was to Ai, who couldn't control her facial expression and was looking at me with genuine shock.

It wasn't a fake shock that she usually shows in TV shows that she attended, but a real one, she was stunned at the amount of money she was currently holding, in her life she never carried this much money.

While I was paying attention to Ai's reaction, I didn't notice that the twins were listening and were also gasping in shock at the amount I mentioned.

"Ai? Hello?" I waved at her face because she was stiff at the moment, thankfully though it did the trick, or else I would have pitched her cheeks so that she would snap back.

"A-a-a hundred million yen?!" Ai couldn't control her voice as shouted in front of me.

I couldn't help but wince a bit at how loud her voice was, quickly realizing her blunder she immediately apologized. "Oh, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to shout loudly in front of you!"

Looking at Ai's bowing form, I simply waved at her telling her that it wasn't a big deal. "It's fine, although you have a healthy set of lungs."

I couldn't help but tease her, and unexpectedly she reacted to my tease as she blushed at that. "It's only natural for an idol like me to have a healthy set of lungs!'

I laughed at the stupid excuse she made right on the spot, but it was also valid. "Yeah, right."

"You don't believe me?!"

"I do, it's just the way you mentioned it sounds rather unbelievable."

"Listen here mr!"

And just like that the unknown tension that we had before slowly vanished, also the amount of cash that was in the credit card was temporarily forgotten, except for the twins who were still recovering from the shock.

"You knew about this didn't you?" I pointed my fingers at D accusingly.

Later that night, D visited, thankful she wasn't here to cause chaos like she usually does, and I'm thankful for that.

D, however, just smiled at my words and didn't even try to deny that she knew about this beforehand. "Indeed, how was it? Did it surprise you?"

"Are you seriously asking me if I was surprised by it?" I stared at her with an incredulous expression.

"Yep," D replied without hesitation.

I facepalm at myself and thought. 'Of course, it's D we're talking about…!'

"So, how was it?"

Looking at her with a wry smile I answered. "I wasn't just surprised but also shocked by the revelation that I have a little mini-me around, if it wasn't for Ai informing me, I wouldn't have known about it."

D let out a grin. "I knew it was the right decision not to mention your children, look at this."

She opened her phone and showed me a photo of my dumbfounded face as I learned that I have twin children.

"How did you- no, nevermind don't answer that question." I almost asked a stupid question, of course, she was there when it happened.

"Indeed, always remember that I'm always watching you," D admitted without feeling shame or embarrassment.

She just admitted that she's stalking me 24/7, even yanderes weren't that extreme!

"That's creepy, you're creepy," I said bluntly in front of her face.

"Hm? Isn't that already established?" D nonchalantly answered.

D wasn't offended by my words at all, as she herself is aware that she's creepy, her common sense is simply something I can never understand, hopefully.

Because the day I understood her common sense, is the day I'll commit suicide.

"Why do I feel like you're proud of being creepy."

"Because I am." D puffed her chest out of pride.

This conversation alone made me understand that I could probably never understand her anytime soon.

"By the way I have something to confess." D suddenly said.

I couldn't help but raise my brow and reply. "What is it?"

"It was me."

"Huh?" I said in confusion.

"It was me, who gave Ai your number and the reason why she tracked you!" D smiled widely as she just admitted that because of her, I managed to learn the existence of my children.

Honestly, I don't know how to feel about it. A part of me is annoyed by that, however, a larger part of me is grateful for her interference, without it. I probably wouldn't know that I have children.

"I see…"

"You're not mad?" D asked curiously.

"No, why would I be?" I might not be mad, but I'm definitely a bit annoyed.

D shook her head and then her grin returned and said. "By the way, I want to show you something."

I blinked a few times before answering. "Show me what?"

"You'll see." D smiled mysteriously and suddenly made a projection in front of me, she definitely didn't use magic to make this thing.

Either way, I looked at the projection and saw a woman, who looks like a clone of D, only that she has white hair.

It didn't take me long to realize who this woman is and thought. 'Isn't this Kumoko?'
