I took a closer look at my newest customer, it was a young woman that looks plain, well not exactly plain since we're talking about my standards here, I've met so many beautiful girls all over the years that it skewered my standard of 'beauty' either way, this girl could be categorized as a japanese beauty, not too ugly and not too beautiful either.

If there's a word to describe her appearance it would be called plain beauty, if she takes care of her appearance better her looks would be significantly better.

Anyway, enough about her appearance, I'm going to look at her status to know her better and I was surprised at who this person is.

Okay, this is ridiculous, even Ozma's status isn't comparable to this, if this War Devil or Yoru was at her peak, there's no doubt she'd be equivalent to a Beast.

Something that could make humanity extinct, either way enough with that surprise. It's not like she can do anything in this shop anyway.

Looking at Asa who was obviously panicking at the situation she was in, it seemed that she didn't hear my words from before, that's why this time I'm getting her attention.

"Ahem- Ms. Mikata, would you please calm down?"

Mentioning her name got her attention. "W-what- who are you? H-how did you know my name?! Are you a devil?!"

The fear in her voice was obvious to anyone, I would have been deaf if I didn't notice.

Before I could answer, suddenly Yoru said. "That man isn't a devil Asa, but….for some reason, I feel threatened by this person, be careful this never happened to me…"

Yoru's words only made Asa feel more nervous than before.

I couldn't help but smile, weary, and thought. 'It's definitely one of those days…'

This is bad, really bad right now she's inside a devil's domain.

"Like I said this man isn't a devil!"

Asa completely ignored Yoru and continued her musing.

This wasn't her first time being inside a devil's domain, however, It didn't make it less stressful than before.

She needed to get out of here quickly, but she wasn't sure how!

"There's a door behind you!"

This time Asa heard Yoru and she immediately shifted her gaze behind her. There was indeed a door, however before she could run at the door, she heard the 'devil' say.

"Wait, I know you're planning to leave but would you please listen to me? Like your friend says "I'm not a devil and I'm ok going to hurt you physically or mentally." The devil man said-

Wait!

Asa realized something, this man just mentioned Yoru! How was it possible?! Isn't she just a hallucination made by her mind, or as Yoru claimed.

"Y-you can see her?!" She pointed at her counterpart.

"Of course, I do." The devil man- no, the mysterious person answered.

Now that Yoru knew that this man could see her, she immediately demanded. "Who are you?!"

The man smiled amusedly (?) at Yoru's outburst, he answered her question, however, he was looking at her instead of Yoru.

"I'm just the humble shopkeeper of this place."

A shop? This place is a shop?

"Yes, it's a shop."

What?! Is this man able to read minds or something?!

"No, I can't, it's just the expression you're making that says it all."

Oh…

She suddenly felt embarrassed despite this confusing situation. "I-i see…"

"I can read your mind, you know?" Yoru unhelpfully reminded.

'Shut up, Yoru, you're not helping!' Asa thought irritatedly in her mind.

"Anyway, we're getting further to the topic, you want to know how you got to this place, no?" The mysterious man guessed exactly what she was meaning to ask.

"T-that's right!"

"Well, it's simple really you went inside using that door." The man smiled amusingly at her.

Huh? Is this guy treating her like an idiot?

"No, I certainly did not, I'm merely stating facts here, anyway let me continue, the door you went in is connected to the shop, that's why you are able to get in, and no I didn't kidnap you or anything, you voluntarily went inside." The mysterious man said as he folded his hands behind his back.

"What? There's no way I voluntarily-" Asa suddenly paused her sentence as she remembered something from her recent memory.

After her date with Denji and saying goodbye to him, promising another date later, she went inside her apartment and suddenly bumped into another door which was confusing, as she was sure that she had opened it already.

But she thought that fatigue was getting to her since she had a hysterical day.

However, it doesn't seem to be that way, as she just stumbled upon this shop that she literally had nothing to do with or be part of.

"So, you remembered what happened, yes?" The man said.

"Yes, I did! But why is that door inside my apartment?!" Asa exclaimed.

"Inside your apartment..?" The man actually looked surprised, but quickly he managed to change it back to stoic.

"Well, it doesn't matter."

"It matters to ME!"

However, he just ignored her words entirely and said. "Anyway, since you're here anyway, why not buy something as a souvenir?"

Asa didn't feel like she wanted to stay with her anymore, she was about to ignore him entirely and leave, but his next words made her stop.

"Don't you want to get rid of that devil who is possessing you? Regaining back the control you had before the devil appeared? If you want I can help you with that." The mysterious man smiled confidently as if he could back up his words.

Asa's attention was now fully on the man, and Yoru started panicking for some reason. "Oi, don't listen to that guy! Get us out of here or I'll kill you!"

"Heh, don't worry about that devil threatening you, because in this place she won't be able to do a thing." She could see the man smile widely as he was looking at Yoru.

And Yoru eyes widened as she realized that she was indeed powerless in this place. "W-what..? Why can't I control you anymore?!"

Hearing that from the devil, Asa's eyes widened as she realized that the man in front of her was telling her the truth and Yoru is indeed powerless in this place.

"So, what's your answer? Do you want me to remove her so that you'd regain your freedom or you let her stay in control of your body and forget this happened." The man looked like he was challenging her to choose.

Asa was conflicted by this, a chance to regain her freedom, a part of her wanted to get over it and wanted to be freed, but another part of her didn't want to.

Because in exchange she would be alone once again, Yoru was the companion that she never had for years even though she technically threatened her with her life.

"I…." Asa couldn't decide what to do, that's why she remained silent for a minute.

"I see, you can't decide huh…" The man had a tone of disappointment in his voice.

Hearing that disappointment made her feel ashamed of herself, there was an obvious opportunity to free herself from the devil threatening her life, but she couldn't because she didn't want to be alone.

How sad is that?

Even Yoru was pretty surprised by her action, she must have thought that she wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible.

But she didn't making Yoru became thoughtful of her 'host'.

"Anyway since you don't want to be free from her influence that's your choice, anyway I'd like to make another offer, why not sell the thing that causes you bad luck?"

Those words made Asa snap back from reality and reply. "You can do that?"

She couldn't stop herself from giving him an incredulous look.

"I can, so do you want to?"

That goes without saying, she immediately answered. "If you can, please do."

And with a snap of his finger, she felt something inside her, not in a physical sense but mentally, left her but she can't tell what it was, she just felt something inside her was taken away.

Then a bronze card fell right into her hand.

"Right…you keep saying this is a shop but I haven't seen anything that you sell." Asa's eyes wandered around and hadn't seen anything that was worth selling aside from those items on the shelves.

"Oh, about that you need to open the catalog."

As she was about to ask what this 'catalog' was, a blue screen appeared in front of her, surprising her.

Then she saw the pictures of various kinds of items, although their prices are ridiculous and she couldn't afford them, even in yen.

"That is the shop by the way."

With all the items in this weird blue screen, it made sense why this place is called a 'shop'

A/N: You thought I'd convert Yoru? Well, I was originally planning to but I decided not to since it's interesting that way, and also I like Yoru, too bad though if she were to be converted Alex would have profited a lot that's why he was so disappointed at Asa decision.

I wasn't sure what to think at the moment, because I have the most unexpected customer inside my shop right now.

They were 3 versions of Jaune Arc.

The teenager Jaune who just started attending Beacon Academy.

The young adult Jaune who is from Vol. 8, is a licensed Huntsman.

And the old man Jaune who fell from the Ever After, the Rusted Knight from the fairy tale.

They were pointing at each other like from that certain meme from Earth.

"Wha-?!"

"Why is my younger self here and is that an old version of me?!"

"I've seen weird things in my life but this is surprising even to me…"

With a sigh on my lips. I whispered. "The wonders of the multiverse…"
