Chapter 5

We've been walking for some time now, and as I gaze ahead, I can see the city in the distance, its skyline standing out against the horizon. However, something else has caught my attention – an intense, loud roar that echoes from not far away. It's a jarring contrast to the peaceful scenery around us, and it has piqued my curiosity I look to Hancock and ask her

"Do you have any idea of what can do such loud roar ?" I ask looking at her and she seems just as curious as me, she is very attentive and careful as we walk, as she doesn't want to put me in danger and I appreciate it very much since I'm still weak as hell she is my shield and my sword right now.

As we finally approach the outside of the city, a towering, medieval-style wall comes into view, encircling the entire expanse. Its presence probably tells some story of invasion. The sight of guards stationed at regular intervals add to the city's importance and the need for defense we see some people entering and exiting with no problem, so I think there's no need to get an card or something like that.

"What do you think about this city master, it's good ? I personally think that nothing there will be worth or your appreciation." Hancock says in her sweet voice, always so obedient and ready to do anything I please... the system told me that I can get nasty with them and they would simply love it and that's an good thing for an otaku like me hehehe.

Approaching the gate, it just swings open with no obstacle or interrogation from the guards, It's a very welcome surprise showing that the city trust the people of this world...that can go really bad they need to change it. Stepping inside, my attention is immediately drawn to the emblem of the adventurer guild, me and Hancock start to explore the city and to my surprise it's quite large and has an real big castle in an mountain which makes me think that it's probably the city owner house.

"Hancock, go buy some food for us and I will find an inn so we can stay here for some time, I want to know what the adventurer guild do." I say and immediately Hancock nods and exits quickly. I keep looking around and find an inn called "Moonlight Dreams" which is very convenient as it's close to the adventurer guild.

"Well can't say no to surprises can I ?" I go in discover that is rather expensive taking that this is an adventurers inn and so I say that I'm planning on becoming an adventurer, talking with some random ass people I discovered that adventurers have lots and lots of privileges like 50% off inn and some merchants sell valuable itens for them too.

I shove my hand in my bag and find some coins inside. The price of the room is 2 silvers, which is really expensive for starting adventurers. I can't help but wonder how this money ended up here... but then I remember that Hancock was the one to fill it, so she might have taken it from the monsters she killed on her way to make the safe house where I woke up she is perfect isn't her.p

(It goes like this)

1 Copper = 1 copper

100 copper = 1 silver

100 silvers = 1 gold

100 gold = 1 ruby - almost never gonna use

100 ruby = 1 emerald - same as ruby

After paying and getting my keys, I enter the room and find it very comfy. I lay on the bed to shake off some tiredness and start searching the system. I find the house icon, which means that Hancock got the house before leaving. That house thing is really convenient, thanks to that system but other things are more important! I have 1 summon to make! but I rather hold it for now, as the system said it accumulate so basically idle summoning ticket farm!

As tiredness took hold of me, I ended up falling asleep. I didn't worry, as Hancock is stronger than anything in this world, but her body can attract unwanted attention. The system also mentioned something about summon connection, which basically means that she can find me even if she is on the other side of the world, that is quite comforting...

I wake up to the sound of bags and see Hancock sorting out the things she bought. I notice great quality items, and she seems content while doing what I ordered. After she finishes, she lays down with me and falls asleep too. I get up from the bed, drink some water, and look outside the window, only to find an everlasting darkness as the night engulfs the world.

"Damn it's already night, that's ok since I finally can get some sleep...some real sleep at least." I go to the bed and lay down hugging Hancock body like I own it...but I do really own it now hehe.
