"Excellent choice"

I was surprised when something like the Panda Queen's Tears was an item available for sale. The only time I ever saw that in my last life was a short fan made comic and the only reason I know what it did was because the store told me what it does and how to use it. It makes me wonder what other things this store has.

"Okay, remember that you will get an army, but they will only attack the person that spilled that as well as anyone who gets in their way. They will continue to attack until they are killed or kill their target," I said.

"Are you sure this will work?" Asked Azazel as he looked at the vile of water.

"One hundred percent guarantee, oh and tell me how it turns out. Now it was nice doing business with you, but as you have nothing else to trade or sell, then get out. I have more pressing matters to take care of," I said, opening the door for them.

"Is there a way to get in contact with you so we can buy more things?" Asked Azazel before leaving.

When he said that, a screen popped up.

"Ah, almost forgot, here's a card. Whenever you want to call me, put some of your energy into it and toss it into an open space that my store would fit in. But make sure you have something worthwhile because if you present me grunt weapons again, I won't give you another card," I said as a card appeared in my hand.

"You can count on that, I really want to get my hands on some of the more expensive things," said Azazel as he took the card before leaving.

As I closed the door, I looked outside for a split second before it looked like the scenery was passing by at an extremely fast rate. It looked like I was traveling at light speed in Star Wars for a bit before settling down. From the looks of it, the store was in front of a poor village. There were houses made out of mud and straw from what I could see, as well as people moving around.

'I wonder if I'm still in the dxd universe?'

'That answered that question.'

Deciding to just wait for the next customer and go through what's available in the store. There were many things that were familiar but all so some things that I didn't recognize. Some of these things were completely useless, like a handgrand that gives head pat's or Ysgramor soup spoon.

Then we got overpowered items that make no sense, like the banana that can defeat the demon king or the bucket that can prevent any harm as long as you wear it on your head were available for purchase.

It became quite clear that this store Saif items from all over the multiverse, it meant it. Even items from memes and things I never heard of were included. As I was looking at a spaceship meant for the use of chickens, I heard the bell from the front door.

Looking up, I was surprised by what I saw. It was a group of four men. What surprised me wasn't who they were. It was what they were, humans. Normal humans without a spic of supernatural energy coming of them. I guess I thought that no normal person would be able to enter this store. That it would be only accessible to main characters or at least side characters. Not the common background characters, but here they were four completely normal humans.

If I were to sum up the group in one word it would be peasants, all four of them were wearing dirty linen clothes and sandals. They were all armed and looked scared.

"And who might you four be?" I asked in a bored tone.

"Who are you? What do you want?" Said one of them speaking some kind of language I didn't recognize but I understood him nonetheless.

"This again, well it's not like I can blame you for acting this way. Humans often resort to violence when faced with something unknown," I said.

"You think this is a game," said one of them, as he pulled the bow ready to fire it at me.

Not a smart move but it's not like he knew any better. Within seconds he was slammed into the floor, scaring the other three men.

"I should really get a sign," I said, thinking to myself out loud.

At this point I was ignoring the humans since I'll most likely get nothing out of them. Looking at them two of the men were trying to pull the other up from the floor but they were having no luck. The last one armed with an ax was looking at me.

"That was his punishment for pointing a weapon at me. It will end in a bit when it does pick up your friend and get out," I said as I started looking through the items again.

~thud, thud, thud

Looking up after hearing some more noise. Only to see all three men on their knees with their heads on the floor. It doesn't look like they broke the rules and they're doing it of their own will.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Please forgive him, mighty God," said one of them.

It seemed like they saw me as a god, well I am a god but not from this world.

"Like I already said his punishment will be done in a bit, just wait and you can leave after it's over," I said.

"Thank you for your mercy," he said.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I said, going back to my scrolling through the store menu.

"Ummm, god would you humble us with your name?" Asked one of the men.

"Beelzebub," I said without even looking at them.

"Lord Baal-Zebul, will you help us with our village!" Shouted all three men.

'Baal-Zebul? Wasn't that supposed to be a god of the Philistines? So does that mean I'm somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea.'

"So what do you want," I asked.

"We haven't had any rain this year, and our food is running out. We are willing to offer you a sacrifice for rain," said one of them.

"Please we need food and water for our families," said another.

'Hmmm, I can help them but the question is if I should. Hell I don't even need to pay for food or water so I should be able to give them some. But I would like something in return but I doubt they have much.'

As I was thinking whether to help them or not, the shop showed me a message.

'If I remember right, ancient humans, especially peasants, were lucky to live up to forty years old. The nobles lived up to their sixties if it was a prosperous time in their civilization. But for the most part the majority died around their twenties due to war, famine, or diseases. Then again this is the dxd world so their odds of dying go up due to a whole bunch of supernatural things. Then again how many years can I get out of them.'

'Damn they look old for their age, I guess a lifetime of manual labor and malnourishment would do that to you. But I guess I can't get much since their time is almost up.'

'That's true, after food and medicine improved humans lived longer. But between the two, food was really the more important one since medicine has not always been the best through the years. For example they used to use radium water as a cure all or mercury for syphilis. But as food became more abundant people like Jeanne Calmet lived up to 122 years old from 1875 to 1997.'

"Okay then I will give you food and water but you will have to give me some of your life force as sacrifice," I said.

After I said that four piles of meat, grains, salt, sugar, vegetables, and water appeared in front of them. The amount would last for a year if managed right, even for a family of four. And according to the shop it wouldn't rot either.

"But if you accept this you won't live past fifty no matter what you do," I warned.

"Thank you, thank you, merciful Baal-Zebul. We will remember to offer you sacrifices every year and offer you our prayers," they said.

"No need for the sacrifices or the prayers, just get your food and get out. Oh and before I forget this food won't rot so you won't have to worry of it going bad," I said.

"Yes thank you again mighty God, go get some help," said to the man that was punished before but was now kneeling to me.

"Yes," he said as he ran out of my store as the other three stayed kneeling to me.

After a minute they started praying to me, I let them do as they liked since I didn't care. They only stopped after the other guy came back bringing more men with him to help them. As they got started with moving the food one of the men kneel to me.

"Please mighty Baal-Zebul please bless me with food and water as well," he said.

"Sure but have you heard what I want in return," I said.

"Yes, and I accept," he said.

"Fine then but just to remind you if you accept my deal you won't live past fifty," I said as I placed another pile of food in front of the man.

"Thank you for your blessings, mighty lord Baal-Zebul," he said as he put his head on the ground.

That started a chain reaction with all the men kneeling towards me and asking for their blessings. Being the merciful God I was, I accept their pleading and help them. But it didn't stop there. They brought their children to make the same deal they made for more food.

'Hmmm, I've only seen men and boys come and make deals. I wonder if there is a reason that I haven't seen any women.'

As I was thinking this a man brought a woman into the shop causing a small uproar amongst the men.

'Oh yeah it's the ancient era women were lucky to be even allowed out of the house.'

"Quiet," I said as the uproar was getting louder, making it instantly quiet.

As the woman came closer I saw she had a small child in her hands, passed out and wrapped in a cloth.

"Please lord Baal-Zebul, would you please heal this child," said the woman.

Looking at the child it looked like he was sick, it didn't look too serious to me but I was basing it on my standards. Back in the past the common cold could be a death sentence. Hell people died due to the flu even in my old world.

"Sure but I'll take a year of his life," I said before snapping my fingers.

A white glow enveloped the child for a bit then he started to wake up.

"Momma," said the child as he looked up to his mother.

"Oh thank you, thank you God so much," she said as she tightly hugged her child.

"Don't worry about it, as a service he won't get sick again until he is fifteen," I said.

That should allow his immune system to develop to a point that if he does get sick he won't die. Unless he gets a deadly disease, but if that happens then he's just unlucky.

Everyone that saw this started bringing their wife, daughters, and injured people so they can get more food and healed. All together I made deals with 375 people for food and to heal them. I used the shop to make sure to give them enough nutrition filled food so they would live to 100 years as long as they died naturally. So I took 50 years from each of them.

Was I taking advantage of them? Yes, there's no doubt that I'm getting the better end of the deal since I could have given them the food and water for free if I wanted to. But on the flip side most of them wouldn't live up to 30 due to multiple reasons. Then it seemed they were going through a drought at the moment and with 375 people in the village it can be said to be a pretty big village. That means many of them were going to starve to death due to the lack of food and water. The vast majority of those deaths would probably be the children since they are naturally weaker and need more food due to them being in their growth period. Those that survive won't be lucky either, due to lack of nutrition it would affect them in the future in one way or another. There is also the chance that this drought would continue throughout the next year as well.

"Thank you Lord Baal-Zebul for having mercy on this village. But we must shameful request you to hear our final plea for help," said an old man as he kneeled.

This seemed to be the last group of the village. They were a group of 10 people comprising of elderly people. Though I say elderly people their ages were around their late 30s to early 40s.

"Yea, sure, just say it already," I answered.

"Thank you, we would give you the remainder of our life if you help us with the drought," he said as the group put their heads on the ground to beg me.

"Okay then but I'll leave you 2 years of life so you can see that I've kept my end of the deal," I said.

"Thank you for your kindness, we will make sure future generations know of your greatness," said the old man.

"Whatever, now that you got what you want, get out."

"Thank you again," said the old man as he was leaving with his group.

As he was exiting my store fore children ran in and got on their knees.

"Please god grant our wish," they said.

"Hey, don't be disrespectful to our god!" Shouted the old man as he came back in.

'It seems they're going to treat me as their god now, it's understandable since I just saved them and even extended most of their life's by 20 years. But they can do as they like, not like I care.'

"But village chief we must get our revenge," said one of the kids.

"You dear talk back to me, in front of our god!" Shouted the old man that turned out to be the village chief as he raised his hand to smack the kid.

~Thud

Only to be slammed into the floor before he could smack the kid.

"No fighting in here," I said lazily.

"Please forgive me," the old man struggled to say.

"Just what until the punishment is over then you can leave. Now then what do you four want?" I asked the kids.

Looking at the kids they seem more dirty and malnourished than the others. They also had more of a garbage smell then the other as everyone else smelled more of dirt.

"We want revenge," they said.

"And who do you want to get revenge on?"

"Those who have spilled the blood of the innocent," said the boy that looked the oldest.

'Hmmm, can I use them in any way?'

As I looked at them and thought of their request, it would be easily accomplished but how to get the most out of them.

While I was thinking a screen popped up with an interesting idea but I didn't see much reason to make them employees of mine. Sure I would like employees to help me run the shop later on. I didn't see a reason to make these random weak humans as my employees. Sure they didn't need any power but they at least needed to have a minimum amount of knowledge in multiple fields and I highly doubt some orphans in the ancient era even knew how to greet a customer. Sure I could train them but that would be too much trouble.

Now that brought a smile to my face and by the way the kids reacted it was a frightening one. But even if they were frightened they did run or cry since their desire for vengeance outweighed their fear.

"Okay then I will give you what you want, the power to take your revenge. But be warned that this power will come at a price and if you ever use it to spill the blood of the innocent then you will be judged. You will also offer me one thing from each of your enemies you defeat," I said.

"We will do anything as long as we are able to get our revenge," said the kid.

'I know the perfect power for them.'

"Fine, just remember this will be as much as a curse as it is a power depending on the person."

"Thank you!" They all shouted as they kneeled with their heads to the floor.

"Don't thank me yet first you must feel some pain before you're able to accept my gifts," I said as I snapped my fingers.

'Yes, this will do fine,' were my thoughts as I saw what appeared in front of the kids.
