26 Chapter 23 - Father vs Son

Seiko lands on his butt and curses at the sky.

"Bastard! I'll find you, just watch me!"

He stood up, he was back in his internet cafe.

"Oh, Seiko, you're back. It's been a year. Are we still doing the tournament or?" Kazuma asked.

"So guys, I got good news and bad news. The good news is that the tournament is back. The bad news is that we have a new author."

"... What?"

"Simply put, there will be some changes. For example, the rewards you've gotten in the special events..."

Seiko snapped his fingers.

"They're gone, and so is Cosmic Ronald, unfortunately. Those chapters will also be deleted."

"I don't know what you said, but all I heard is that Cosmic Ronald is gone, and that's great because he was annoying." Ban said.

Seiko turned towards him slowly, in a creepy eerie way.

"How did you get out of the void? Back you go!"

he launched himself towards Ban, his leg extended in a swift, powerful kick. The impact was solid, sending Ban flying into the portal.

"Ahem. Anyways, back to the tournament!"

He snapped his fingers, teleporting everyone back to the empty copy of the tournament of power.

"Wow. I was in the middle of something!" Gohan shouted.

"Sure, whatever. Time is frozen out there. For this round, we have father vs. son! Son Goku vs. Gohan! Oh yeah, and since they're from the same verse, no restrictions are placed. Excluding Beerus and Whis, of course."

They were both teleported onto the platform, ready to fight.

"BEGIN!!!"

Gohan's muscles bulged, pulsating with raw power, as he propelled himself forward with explosive speed. Every sinew in their body crackled with energy, poised to unleash a cataclysmic force. Gohan rushed towards Goku with amazing speed, clashing fists with each other. Gohan threw a kick towards him, but Goku was able to dodge and tried to counterattack by throwing a punch towards the face. However, Gohan was able to catch it and threw Goku near the edge of the platform.

"It's going to take more than this to defeat me!" Gohan smiled.

"You're right."

Goku roared, powering up to super saiyan blue. He got into his iconic fighting stance before rushing towards Gohan. They clashed again and again, a relentless exchange of blows that reverberated through the battlefield. Their fists collided with bone-shattering force that created shockwaves that rippled through the air. "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!"

The pulsating blue beam blazed forth from Goku's hands, crackling with unimaginable power as it hurtled towards Gohan at point-blank range. The sheer force and intensity of the wave overwhelmed Gohan, engulfing him in a maelstrom of unstoppable energy. Despite his efforts, the overwhelming impact sent Gohan hurtling backward, flying off the edge of the platform.
