Confessions On A Starry Night

Weeks turned into months, and the world continued to buzz about "The Chase" and Dua Lipa's electrifying collaboration. They had indeed created something more incredible the second time around, but for Dua Lipa, the music was no longer just about the artistry; it was about the man behind the mask.

No matter how many songs she wrote, no matter how busy her schedule became, she couldn't stop thinking about Chase. His music, his mystery, his charm—it all consumed her thoughts.

One evening, as she sat at her piano, playing a haunting melody, she realized she had to see him again. She needed to tell him how she felt, no matter the outcome. She picked up her phone and sent him a message.

"Chase, we should celebrate our success. How about meeting tonight?"

His response came swiftly, filled with intrigue. "I'm up for it. Where and when?"

They agreed to meet at a quiet, dimly lit rooftop bar, a place where their secrets could be shared under the starry night sky. One of Chase's many penthouse properties.

As Dua Lipa arrived, she couldn't ignore the butterflies in her stomach. She had never been one to wear her heart on her sleeve, but she couldn't hold back any longer.

Chase arrived, wearing his familiar mask. He greeted her with a smile in his voice, and they settled at a corner table with a view of the city lights.

"To our success," Dua Lipa toasted, clinking her glass with his.

"To the music," Chase replied, his mask hiding any emotions.

As the night wore on, their conversation flowed effortlessly. They reminisced about their collaborations, shared stories from their lives, and laughed at inside jokes only they understood. Yet, the elephant in the room remained, growing larger with every passing moment.

Finally, Dua Lipa couldn't keep it inside any longer. She looked into his masked eyes, her voice trembling. "Chase, there's something I need to say."

He leaned in, his curiosity piqued. "What is it, Dua?"

Taking a deep breath, she confessed, "I can't stop thinking about you, Chase. It's not just about the music anymore. I've think I have fallen in love with the man behind the mask."

Chase's mask betrayed no emotion, but his voice quivered as he replied, "Dua, I..."

Before he could finish, she reached out and gently placed her hand on his masked cheek. "I know it's complicated, and you have your reasons for keeping your identity hidden. But I can't deny what I feel, and I needed you to know."

Tears welled up in her eyes as she searched his masked face for a response.

In that moment, as they sat in the quiet rooftop bar under the starry night, the world faded away, leaving only two souls bound by music, mystery, and a love that had finally been revealed.

I am liking multiple short chapters better than a long one. It seems easier to read. I will continue it like this unless you guys tell me otherwise.

Next chapter out very soon.

Thank you for reading and please comment, collect, and send stones.

It really means a lot.
